When I entered I was greeted by the EMW front desk staff and directed back to the Pilates room. The room itself is quite beautiful and well appointed. There is some Pilates equipment (forgive me that I don't know the name of all of it), but the course that I was taking focused on mat work. There are plenty of mats available if you don't have one. Larry was our instructor and he was outstanding. He walked the class through a series of warm ups and then the Pilates exercises. Larry was clearly an expert in anatomy and physiology, which really impressed me. He walked us through each exercise and made sure that we were all attending to proper form. Since the class was small, Larry was able to give lots of individual attention (which I loved). After class was over, he checked in with me to ensure that everything went well and that I felt comfortable in the class. I even forgot my water bottle after class and he ran it out to me in the parking lot. Overall, I would recommend the Pilates loft if you are looking to get friendly and personal Pilates instruction in a location where you could also get your yoga on. The workout wasn't as intense as I generally like, but keep in mind tha this was only my second Pilates class and I'm sure that with time it can be intensified.

I feel like I actually understand what I am doing when I'm in class here. Wonderful open loft/factory style space with large windows. Max I've seen in class here is four people, so you can really get the customized attention you might want. Parking is a bit of a pickle, as the spaces are two deep and you may get blocked in by someone at a longer yoga session. So just be aware when parking. If you know you have to leave in a hurry you can let the front desk know and they'll stick a cone behind your car.

The class was familiar yet challenging to what I'm used to and I was able to keep up without a problem. I have strengthened my core and toned and tightened my muscles. With multiple pieces of equipment and countless exercises, there is always something new. I enjoy going to my Pilates sessions because not only am I getting a total workout, but Judi also makes it fun. The studio is always exceptionally clean and so relaxing with Zen music in the background. Having tried other types of workout programs, this is by far the best thing I have ever done for my body and mind.

Movement just renovated 2 studios in the same building. They have a room for mat classes and another for x-former Pilates reformers. The studios are beautiful, contemporary, bright and Instagram worthy. The class was much different than the standard Pilates reformer that I usually do. It was challenging but still possible for all levels. The instructor was encouraging and very thorough. I got in a great workout in a short amount of time. Post workout they had a little reception in their courtyard complete with a food truck, cocktails, fruit and cookies. It was really nice to meet other members and instructors, I could see they have a really nice community here. Everyone was friendly and it was an elegant event. I'll come by again to try some of their other classes.

There are so many different types of yoga classes offered here, and other themed fitness classes that sound like a lot of fun! I went to heated yoga sculpt which was a nice balance of yoga and sculpt. It was toasty and challenging but perfect for a good workout and sweat session. I will absolutely be back soon to try more classes. Lexi, the owner is kind, receptive and had great communication about questions, schedules, etc. Flex is a great addition to the area and will do well. A really nice perk is a chilled lavender towel at the end of the workout. It was refreshing and I felt pampered after a job well done.

Deanna is so inspiring, personable, fit, and really knows her stuff. Her home studio is so comfortable and peaceful and she has fantastic equipment. My Mother and daughter and sister do private lessons and have seen amazing results from just a few weeks of instruction - leaner, longer muscles, better posture and less back pain, and she has helped me build strength in my core after having 3 children. Feel free to bring your own yoga mat but they got you covered if you forget it. Also LIM supplies each class with yoga accessories to use at your liking (think: block, blanket). The space is super chill with yoga instructors who know what they are doing but also won't judge you if you don't know what in the world a Savasana or an Asana is ( yes I just googled those terms). I really enjoy my cardio but it is good to take a moment to just be and chill. LIM definitely sets the bar for allowing you to take some time and reflect while focusing on challenging moves. If you like yoga this is DEFF the place for you. If you're like me and feel hesitant to go because you like your spinning, running, HITT, or whatever it may be - JUST GO anyway - taking 1 day out of your week to break from the norm and really focus inward makes a difference.
