I'm used to people awkwardly sitting in silence or on their phones before + after class, but here people are always chatting. It's a community I'm happy to be a part of. The staff are genuinely please to help and accommodate. They asked us questions about personal injuries and gave us advice on how to modify throughout the class. I loved the way the instructor continuously monitored each person's form, correcting me when I was out of alignment, etc. I belong to two other gyms and never have I had such personal attention during a class. If you are new to barre, it may take a few classes to learn the lingo and form. The instructors are really nice and patient and provides lots of modifications to the workout for all fitness levels. I love that its not just a boring barre class and there are a variety of classes to choose from that incorporate props to work out different muscle groups. The owner Christina, is very involved in the Burlington community and cares for the members. She does frequent special DJ classes, offers challenges and gives back to the community by donating/hosting fundraisers or helping promote awareness to other charities. I've meet some great people at Xtend that I now call my good friends and I'm thankful for Xtend.
