I've been shopping at this Lowe's for at least 20 years now and while I can't really say that it's…read moreever been an enjoyable experience it did, at one time, get the overall job done. Since the 2019 lockdowns the current manager seems to be hell-bent on making it the most miserable place to shop on Earth. All the cashiers are gone. Now there are just an array of self checkout kiosks and at least 8 of them are closed at all times just to make sure that you still have to stand in a ridiculous line while some old woman looks over your shoulder to upsell you on a rewards membership. Item doesn't scan? Welp. You'll just get to stand there for half an hour while somebody figures out what to do about it. Need to push a large cart full of drainage pipes to one of those three open self-checkout kiosks? Well surprise, idiot. Mr. Manager Man has decided to put giant display racks in the middle of every aisle making that completely impossible under the best of circumstances. 99% of the time there will also be a waddling gaggle of morbidly obese people obstructing whatever's left of the aisle because they want to look at the moose scented candles or whatever stupid bullshit they're carrying for no apparent reason. Need to find a particular electrical or plumbing fitting? Too bad. Every single box has had its contents thoroughly shuffled with every other box in the store so there's absolutely no chance the fitting you need is anywhere near where it's supposed to be. Asking anyone where they put them just gets you a stoned "Uh, like... What?" from the random idiot wandering around. Entire aisles will be cordoned off for the entire day because someone eventually plans on restocking something. They're not stocking it now and they won't be stocking it in the next hour but it's closed. If you dare walk down it anyway a pimply kid will yell at you and that's like really threatening or something. Just in case you haven't been run off yet, there's also an obnoxiously beeping inventory robot ramming into you from behind and a scam artist from some solar incentive sales ponzi scheme following up shortly thereafter. He got his job on the TikTok. Given what an unbelievable hassle it is just to set foot in this place, you might think that you'll be clever and order whatever you need on their website so they have to go burrowing through their own randomized inventory piles but you'll be screwed there, too, because the website automatically reloads itself at least a dozen times so the search field clears itself out and is absolutely worthless. The actual order pickup process is also every bit as time consuming as it involves a stoner doofus reading numbers on a tag to find your order. The manager needs to be removed so things can get back to their usual degree of mediocrity.

December 6, 2025 and after spend way to much time looking at artificial trees, it was time to…read moreexpand the search distance... The warehouse was relatively easy to locate, but look closely for the correct driveway. There is lots of parking, and enough room for full-size, long-bed, extended cab pickups too. There were so many trees to choose from...many types, styles, heights, and lighting styles/types too. We were glad to go in person to see all the choices (think of walking through their website). And that was just the new trees, not the returned and open-box items that have discounted prices (but no real warranty). There were also wreaths, garlands, ornaments, and lights too. All the staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and worked together as a team. There was no pressure! And just when we thought we'd all the displayed trees, more came out of the back and into the discount section. Sure enough a white tree with small LED lights with concealed white wiring was brought out from the back. It tuned out to a collaboration between Balsam Hill and Treetopia and is 1 of 1 produced. Apparently once the cost of production was calculated, it was determined not to be feasible to produce. Keep in mind it was in the discount section and was steeply discounted. Once it was plugged in, it illuminated in a light shade of blue (what a great contrast!). This tree did not have a rectangular box anywhere along the power cord, thus it was believed the lights did not change color or have other lighting modes. It also did not respond to several of the universal remotes. We bought it (no cash accepted) and it was taken away to be put in a large carry/storage bag. We went to the outside pick up door, loaded the large red bag into the back of the truck, and off we went... Once home, we opened the bag, located a remote, put the tree together, and what a surprise - the LEDs change color and there are many lighting modes too!

I just stopped into the outlet to pick up a bolt replacement bulb for my tree and they said they…read moredon't carry those which I was shocked since I bought the tree there. That would really upset me was I was buying a few ornaments handed the lady cash and she said no cash and I said why no cash and another lady said that it's because of Covid and nobody wants to touch cash anymore and then a young man came up and said oh they're not gonna be taking cash anymore cause cash is going away and I said really I haven't heard that cash is going away and he said well it is I said OK and he explained to me there's businesses that won't even give change anymore. I find this absolutely ridiculous and I know of a lot of people that also do maybe that eventually it'll go to electronic but for now I believe cash should be accepted because it is a US standard in paying for items unless something's changed that I don't know about I thought that cash equals payment. I'm very upset and very dissatisfied and haven't been more humiliated at any business than I was today. It's one thing for a business to say no cash it's another thing for two other sales associates to chime in and try to tell me there's no cash anymore anywhere I guess maybe this is the reason a lot of retail stores are going out no respect for clients and customers. No wonder the online stores are doing so much better. They don't have rude. Customer care associates like you guys do. I am not one to complain about things, especially when I go into a store. I'd rather just not say anything, but I was appalled. AI Overview +9 While many businesses are moving towards digital payments, cash is not going away entirely [1]. Currently, US law, specifically the Coinage Act of 1965, states that U.S. coins and currency "are legal tender for all debts, public and private" [1, 2]. However, this generally means a person must accept cash if it is offered to settle an existing debt (e.g., a bill you owe) It does not require a private business to accept cash for a transaction at the point of sale Private businesses can set their own policies on payment methods unless state or local laws say otherwise . Some states and cities, such as Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York City, and San Francisco, have actually passed laws that require most retailers to accept cash payments. The associate's statement that "cash is going away" is an oversimplification. While non-cash transactions are increasingly popular, cash remains a critical form of payment for millions of people and businesses.

Since we work with them in the past, we knew exactly how they walk and we liked the first time so on this project it was even better. We had great communication from the very beginning when we started planning this remodel it took us a bit longer than usual because we are busy working so it was very challenging picking out materials and honestly, it was hard for us to decide what color of tiles we want to go with. Thankfully, Ryan and the team helped us out. They helped us getting all the permits necessary and started construction immediately after the remodel project took about two months and change. They kept the job site clean every day cause we still lived in the house overall we are happy with the final results and we do recommend this company.

Communication was consistent throughout, and any questions we had were addressed quickly.

Josh started to hang the lights and noticed my gutters filled with debris so he offered to clean them for me (for a small fee of course but it was worth it)! There were so much debris!!! Once he and his team were done with cleaning the gutters, they continued with hanging the lights. Josh was so meticulous. He recommended that I hang the lights along the side eaves so that I can see the lights when I drive up from the side streets (genius)! I also asked him to wrap the bushes with lights and wished I would have taken his suggestions to wrap every bush instead of every other bush. Oh wells - I'll definitely do it next year!! Finally, no only did they do the great job with the lights, they also made sure my house was left in a clean state. I'm definitely going to be a loyal customer going forward.
