This place is old school. I mean OLD old school. Pretty much what EVER you need for a stereo system is here. I went in with a turntable related question, they diagnosed the problem, sold me a $30 gadget that would make it work (I could've opted for the $20 gadget, but I wanted to get a few more bells and whistles), I hooked it up and it worked! No muss, no fuss. And when I realized that I had stupidly forgotten a cable that I was going to need, I went back, and they just gave me one. Now I'm not suggesting that they can do that for everybody, but who does that? These guys! They absolutely know their stuff. And they have been in the same location for decades upon decades. I searched and tried for years to find a way to do something amazing and with the help of the owner, Jay, I was able to accomplish my task. I had an old reel to reel tape that had my voice, my dads voice, my mom and grandmothers voice. The tape was made in 1966. My grandmother passed away in 1968, my mom in 1979, and my dad in 2014 . Jay took the time and tried multiple ways to try to get the tape to play. Finally he succeeded in doing what I thought might never get done. I recited the playback onto my phone and I'm going to place the recording on a flash drive and give it to my uncle. My grandmother was his mother. He hasn't heard his mom's voice in 55 years and now he will this Easter thanks to Jay. I will be going back here many times now. Jay is the kind of guy that once you've talked with him for 5 minutes, you feel very comfortable as if you were talking with a longtime friend. Thanks again Jay and I'll be seeing you soon. Overpriced electronics and a lot of junk. They'll give you $10 for something that's worth $50.

I gave them two stars because they actually do have a very wide range of audio equipment and older turntables how ever there prices on everything are extremely high For example I saw a Home Depot edger that had a price tag from Home Depot still on it for 249 and they had it for sale at $250. I'm 16 i got my first pair of dj speakers here ev eliminators. When I was 13 they were a gift from my dad and after that me and my dad would just start coming here every Saturday for at leas an hour or 2 I love the service. Ive baught my first reel hi fi system here aiwa mini compo. And me and Jay are good friends now like hell he evin lets me but recorss on the rega p3 turn table on his main display. And im very careful every time he lets me put on music. Very honest and good prices 5 stars!!! Also me and my dad when I was 6 my dad would bring me here. I went in to talk and walked out with a working sound system for my house all vintage, all working, all for under 250. I love everything I got, it was set up for me in store and every component was tested in front of my eyes. I called up a couple times when I was setting up and given the advice I needed to set it up. I took a friend there who had a really nice turntable. It was only playing one channel. After explaining it could be a variety of things, that could cost from 70 to if it was a bad needle for his bang olufsen it 150. They found the fault in the wires and had it fixed in 3 days for only 50 dollars. I love this place read more

I've been to this store and several times found them closed when their hours said they would be open. Don't go without calling first. On the few occasions I did make it inside, I left with very mixed feelings. I thought they had good prices on used movies, but the selection wasn't all that great and it was a pain to look through them because they're all stacked in front of each other. For a lot of the other stuff, it seemed like I could buy new for just a little more. The last time I was there, I went in thinking they could help me put together a decent stereo system, but the guy there was very standoffish and disinterested. I had no idea what I needed and he showed no interest at all in helping me. I was very disappointed and his attitude caused them to lose a customer that was ready and willing to drop several hundred dollars. It's unlikely that I'll go back. read more
