The first thing we saw was a line out the door, which felt like a good sign--and there was still a line when we left. My girlfriend and I had never tried fish and chips, so we ordered the fried haddock basket with fries and hush puppies. The haddock had a light breading and was incredibly flaky--it practically melted in my mouth. We also tried the blackened shrimp basket, and the shrimp was perfectly seasoned without being overcooked. You order at the counter, and they bring the food to you. The restaurant is situated so magnificently right on the water that it almost feels as though you are floating directly on the river. Upon arriving, one is greeted by a rather striking shark specimen suspended right at the entrance which gave us quite a playful laugh at first glance Stepping inside, the interior is wonderfully clean, vibrant, and well-appointed, featuring lovely artwork and charming private dining nooks. Though it was briskly busy for Sunday service, the ambiance remained thoroughly pleasant and impeccably maintained. We were seated toward the back of the establishment, offering an utterly magnificent, unobstructed view of the river. To begin, I selected a crisp Corona Extra with a fresh slice of lemon, while my assistant opted for a fine beer. For our luncheon, we ordered a platter of raw oysters, which were extraordinarily fresh, perfectly chilled, and thoroughly divine for a late-afternoon meal. To top off a splendid day, we indulged in a warm cinnamon roll for dessert a delightfully decadent sweet finish. Watching the breathtaking sunset cast its glow over the water made for a truly magical afternoon. Impeccable views, fresh cuisine, and a wonderful atmosphere I shall most certainly be returning!

Such a nice little touch, and it was actually good. While looking over the menu, I also loved seeing that they offer senior citizen specials. I'm already looking forward to coming back with my mom--she loves fresh seafood! The biggest reason I'll be returning, though, is the seafood selection and the fact that you don't have to get everything fried. That is a HUGE plus for me. I ordered the blackened stuffed flounder, and it was packed with flavor and extremely fresh. The two sides I chose were delicious as well, (cheese grits, sweet potato) and the selection of sides on the menu is extensive, so there are plenty of options to choose from. I also ordered a glass of white wine, which came in the prettiest glass. The atmosphere is another thing I really liked. It can be slightly dressy or super casual, making it a great spot for different occasions. I also loved having both booth and table seating options. My friend and I had amazing service from start to finish. Between the prices, portions, service, ambiance, and flavor of everything we tried, this was an easy 5/5 stars for me. Definitely looking forward to coming back!

A bit more cream cheese than I normally like but was still very good. Also had the Crab Savannah soup which is like a tomato based she crab soup, excellent!! For our entrees my wife had the Poke' Bowl with seared tuna. Asked for medium rare but got more to a medium color (gray) but the veggies that it came with were fresh, flavorful & crisp! For my self I had the oyster poor boy which was huge! Plenty of oysters and cooked just right. The remoulade sauce had a nice flavor and the veggies also were fresh & crisp. The ambience is more like a warehouse feel but I'm ok with that kind of atmosphere. In talking with our server Sunday's is there busiest day. So, if coming on a Sunday get there early or pack some patience as the food was very good & worth the trip. Thank you for a nice time! We'll be back!!

I enjoyed the fried oysters, shrimp and green beans but the grits were not to my liking as far as texture but they tasted okay. The espresso martini was okay. I didn't care for the cream on top. It was too thick. My son had the shrimp and grits. My daughter ordered a 2 way platter. I can't remember what she ordered. Upon leaving, when my son stood up, his shirt peeled away from the back of the chair. The chair had food residue across the back of it which left a large stain. We had a stop to make on our way home and he was so embarrassed to get out at the store. Fortunately, I used a stain remover and it came clean in the wash but that was pet disgusting.

The special of the day was a Shrimp special. I ordered it fried which was probably a mistake in retrospect. While they were nice shrimp the batter was again not spiced at all, none. It was just a miss for my palate. Maybe it was just me ordering the wrong things as the ratings here are so high but I feel like the Yelpers led me astray here. :(

The raw oysters were fresh and an absolute must order. Since we visited during the winter, I also warmed up with a bowl of clam chowder, which really hit the spot. We also tried the boiled oysters, served hot and charred, and they ended up being everyone's favorite. We all eat oysters and seafood pretty regularly, and even we were surprised by how flavorful they were. For appetizers, we started with the snapper bites and the fried blue crab claws. Both were cooked to perfection and packed with flavor. For our entrees, we decided on the seafood broil and the fried platters. Both dishes hit the spot. The portion sizes were well balanced, and we left feeling satisfied rather than overly full. On top of that, the pricing was great. Our waiter was great, but the pacing of the meal could have been smoother since it took about 45 minutes to get our entrees. There were a couple of other notable downsides. The restaurant was quite loud, and to top it all off, a woman at the table right next to us had her shoes off. Management really should have controlled that kind of behavior, as it detracts from the dining experience. Furthermore, despite making reservations to celebrate our anniversary, the restaurant did not acknowledge it at all. That was unfortunate. Still, the quality of the food and the service from our waiter kept things afloat.

The potatoes were perfectly soft and able to sop up the seasoning. The sausages were a good combo of chewy and soft. And the corn was super juicy and sweet. We got the mild option, but honestly, we didn't really notice any spice, so I would definitely go for a higher spice level next time. The seasoning was pretty good, but not the best I've had. It was a bit too oily for my preference, which sounds a bit dumb because of course it's oily. But it was so hard to get the seasoning on the food. At times it felt like I was only scooping oil up without any of the flavoring. Whereas at other places, it felt like the oil itself was super flavorful too.

Loved the decor as simple, but the fountain elevated it more than other seafood boil places I've visited. Elijah was very friendly and appreciate the recommendation to go very spicy (extra hot). I often feel like some places vary. I want the spice, but I don't want it to completely overpower the food like some spice levels will. This achieved an exceptional flavor and still cleared my sinuses from the spice - perfection! But a party of one, which I was shocked but they do list on the menu of prices. I almost tipped 20% on top of the bill, until I was looking into why it was higher than I expected. Additionally, $4.99 for a soda that doesn't even have the syrup and carbonation properly calibrated?! Wowza, what a letdown for $50+ for dining alone.
