Holly paid close attention to my primary issue, which was my neck. She made suggestions on how to treat the neck and used a variety of techniques to support its healing. I value that she offers cupping and appreciate the exercise she suggested I do from home. The massage room was lovely and relaxing. The colors are neutral and filtered sun streams through sheer curtains. An additional bonus with it being in a yoga studio is being able to look through the exercise clothes that are for sale. I'm looking forward to my next massage with Holly!

The membership pitch at the end ruins what could be a wonderful massage experience. Paying for the massage = 1 star. Probably won't be back.

I saw Karen- worst massage of my life, I wish there was a safe word you could just say so you could get up and leave because it was a such a waste of time. I asked her for more pressure because I could barely even feel the "massage" she said she will. Well it never came. All she did it was lightly rub my skin with lotion. If I wanted a lotion rub down I would have asked my husband. I could also feel her nails scraping against my skin and listened to her stomach make noises for a hour. I don't know she was hungry or digesting- obviously she can't control that but there was no music in the room so I just got to lay there with her rubbing lotion on me and listen to her stomach make noises for an hour. What a waste of $100! The front desk girls were really nice.

I will give you a warning about this man named Joe, the way he conducts business is very…read morequestionable not professional and I do NOT recommend dealing with him! I scheduled a massage with him for my father that I was going to pay for. I was planning on giving my Dad the money and he goes to his massage and then pays Joe after for his service right, like normal, correct!? Well, NOT Joe, he was making me pay for the service before my dad came to even get the massage! But what was worse, is here I am extremely busy like completely and utterly so busy and I have tons of family staying in my home for a wedding in a few days and lots going on and he had sent an invoice to my email, Now mind you I am not on my phone or having time to check texts or emails I am busy and who pays for a service prior, duh thats not normal well he had texted me something about paying this invoice and I just didn't have time to even really look at it much cuz my dad was just going to pay the money after and I was very busy!! Well 3 hours prior to the appointment time he texted me and says invoice hasn't been paid and I am canceling the appointment for your Dad Seriously!??? Why!!??? You actually thought someone was going to come to an appointment and not pay and especially me, that is NOT my character or my dad's and the most confusing part and why I say the way Joe conducts business is really odd and not OK because right on the square app when you book pictured below it says: Payment is due at your appointment!!!!! Then has the audacity to totally cancel appointment 3 hrs prior pretty crazy and very violating to me actually like Im some kind of criminal who is not going to pay Unreal, I was soooo shocked he did this like odd behavior So, that's why I say booking with Joe the Body Mechanic just don't bother his energy is way off! Very Very Very unprofessional how he handled that!!

It was 85 degrees outside, there was no AC in the room, she had the bed warmer on and a heavy blanket with just the window thrown open to all the lovely street noise. There was absolutely zero support for my belly or hips. I'm 6 months pregnant, this is a huge deal. I was obviously uncomfortable. The massage itself was horrible, and felt more like I was getting oil rubbed on me gently. I also don't know if she was sick, but the coughing and sniffing throughout the massage definitely had me even more tense. I was extremely let down by this whole experience, from start to finish, and would not recommend this place; at least to pregnant women. Will not be returning.

Retreat! Oh what a retreat!…read more Last October Shanna and Loni held a fabulous playful and introspective woman's retreat in Phoenix Arizona. It was there that seven woman would share a home together for a five days. We would unwind from the outside world, travel to Sedona, experience a vortex, rest, relax and play. All the while getting to know one another, and simultaneously being granted time to process on our own, and during check ins. Our needs were of the top most priority, and we were well taken care of in all regards. We were graciously offered meditation and movement classes in the mornings (which were wonderful, perfectly tailored to our needs, and fun) and although we had an itinerary planned, and adventures we would go in, it felt easy going each day, and all we had to do was show up and say yes. Yes to a new experience in a new place, and more over, yes to our Mind, Body, Spirit connection for what ever the universe presented to us. Mind: We were engaged in playful activity through games, sharing stories and laughter which lead to open hearted conversation, going within while remaining willing to be present, staying supportive of our new network of sisters and holding mindful space for everyone as the beautiful unique individuals we are. Body: We hiked in numerous locations, sang, swam, soaked, slept, and danced! We ate delicious and lovingly prepared nutritious meals. And were offered Massage, Reiki, and Tibetan Cranial. Spirit: Sedona's Bell Mountain shared a vortex with myself and many of the other woman. This was a spiritual experience in which I am still learning to understand and unpack it from time to time. The retreat was so well rounded. I highly recommend a retreat with Natural Body Works. Shanna and Loni work very well together, and ensure safe and centered heart-space in which to come together, go within, and get to know our inner playful selves in order to more readily access our joy. I am so grateful to have shown up and said yes, yes to my Mind, Body, and Spirit, but mainly yes to myself so I could fully receive the gifts being presented to me through my many interactions with a great group of woman. An excellent experience which would have been missed out on had I not said, yes. So next time there is a retreat offered by this Rock Star Team. . . Well I think you catch my drift

I was desperate to get some relief or I would not have gone to a random massage parlor. I figured that even a mediocre and over priced massage would be better than the shooting pain. So I used the yelp search functionality for places that would be able to get me in after seven pm. May had positive reviews and I called. How fortunate that she could get me in! Even though it was late Saturday evening she took her time with me. It was an excellent massage and experience. I felt that she really cared about my pain and getting me relief. She tried a few techniques that I have not had before including cupping. Beware, this will leave ugly marks on your skin for a week. She gave a few exercises to try to help loosen the tight muscles for after care. I did experience relief! I would definitely recommend May! She was concerned, dedicated and capable.
