This is the best pediatric dental office ever! Our family…read morehas been going to Dr.L. for nearly 25 years. Yes Yelpper's that's multiple generations of family . Dr.L.'s knowledge of dentistry is unsurpassed in pediatrics and his staff is very accommodating when ever possible. The office is a floor to ceiling welcoming environment for kids and even adults. If there was a Disneyland for kids who are going to the dentist, this is it... Arcadia games for bigger kids while they wait and after they are done, wall and ceiling 3D sculptures, hand painted cartoons on the walls that fascinate kids and calm them, and the staff is fantastic. They are all excellent with kids of any age. Having used this practice for so many years its wonderful to see today second generations patients that we remember sitting in the lobby with over the years. My family is not alone in this. Second generations of patients...That's almost unheard of today! When I saw the reviews here I scratched my head at what could possibly be said that was negative about this office or it's people. All I can say is read their reviews very carefully and than fact check these reviewers... as soon as you look at the other reviews these people have made you can tell right away NOTHING MAKES THEM HAPPY! It's so obvious that negative people embellish something negative to sound like it's the end of the world. Directly to the woman who said she was 5 minutes late and then was treated horribly. Oh please.., 5 minutes late anywhere is never a problem anywhere you go! You know she was 20 minutes late or more easily. And ya what do you expect the doctor to do spend 5 extra minutes telling you how fine it is for you to be late because the 10 patients after you don't care that they are now waiting an extra 20. It's the same people who cause traffic on the highways, oblivious to everyone else. Oh and of course the woman who was mad because Dr. L. Asked about groceries... well as parents we all know there are those parents that give their kids apple juice, lollipops, candy, sugared breakfast cereals, and soft cheap carbs with little nutritional value. It's the same parents that say "go brush your teeth" to their 6 year old and then think they went and actually did it. If you have children you need to actually parent them. No one likes to be called out on anything but if your dentist says your groceries are insufficient (etc.) for your child, he's not saying that to make you feel bad... he's saying it to help your kid! Tell me what I can do to help my child from an expert is always welcome! And the terrible story from the lady with the autistic kids... OMG! If this actually happened how did the lawsuit go? If any sane parent ever had an experience like that they would sue a doctor for every penny they had and your husband etc. would have bloodied the doctor in the parking lot! I'm not saying none of it happened but wow. Every child wears sunglasses because the professionals at the this office know that children's eyes are sensitive. I can understand if there was some miscommunication between an adult tooth vs. a child tooth etc. but for the matter of the infection... your son must have been on antibiotics before going to the next dentist office that said there was no infection, (we all know you can't get a next day appointment in any pediatric office so some-time must have passed while on the antibiotics). Did you request the X-rays that showed the infection for the new dentist. Reputable Dentist offices are very good about sharing dental records. Your daughter who's drool hit the floor... and Dr.L. Supposedly flipped out. No, sorry there is no way that could happen. I brought my 7 year old niece who actually threw up in the office just before Dr. L was going to start. The girls were all very good about the clean up and every safety protocol was implemented. They consoled her better than I could. I chose to change her appointment just in case she was getting sick and we were unaware of it. The other couple negative reviews here are also very transparent. Try this practice yourself and write a review. Be honest so people can read facts not Anger Managment reviews.

After watching this MAGA dentist on tv, I finally figured out what is going on. I strongly believe…read morethat this dentist intentionally gave less, if any, laughing gas to my son, who's obviously not his "preferred" type of patient. I couldn't understand why my son was so jumpy and in pain, when he has never before or since been that way. That female assistant that was with him knew what was happening because I could see the sympathy in her face. However, she too should be cast to the depths of h- for standing by and doing nothing. His bedside manner was horrific and I hate that he got his "rocks off" at the expense of my child. I thought to myself that he must not like children. Ethnic parents, beware!

My wife had a severely bad tooth that was causing her incredible pain, so we found a dental office…read moreclose by that had good reviews. Instead of removing or repairing her tooth they did extensive procedures and had her keep returning several times in the course of six weeks (meanwhile she was in terrible pain). They never removed the bad tooth but wanted to do costly surgery which would be several thousands of dollars!! Realizing this reputable dentist seemed like a scammer we located another, which was Coast Dental in Ormond Beach. They were incredible! They fully understood that removing the painful terrible tooth was the main priority and they got right on it. They didn't even attempt to do all the other procedures which might be important at a later date but were not important at the moment. And the dentist was so incredible that he removed the tooth without causing my wife any pain or discomfort at all... and that is rare since she normally despises dental visits because of her sensitive mouth which feels every little 'poke or jab' with high discomfort. We are so glad we went to Coast Dental and highly recommend them!

I have been a patient at Coast Dental for 10 years. He has cared for my family. He is a wonderful,…read morecaring, and excellent dentist. I hate to leave him, but I must. The office staff has changed gradually but greatly, over the years. They are incredibly rude and inefficient. I had an appointment for this afternoon, and when I got there they told me they hadnt time for the cleaning, and i explained that isnt easy for me to get out as I care for my sick husband. They then told me after i waited to at least see my dentist about an issue, that Dr. now had two emergencies and I also would not be able to see him today either. I explained I had an appointment made through their call center, (no mire direct-to-office calls), but they rudely said they had "nothing to do with that call center."! I walked out. I have never had such rude people to deal with. I left and wint be back, no matter how much I love Dr. Windom. It's really too bad.

VA gave me referral , was seen by a Dr. Yero that was not personable and rude . I had 2 teeth…read moreremoved by an oral surgeon and also had consult with wife's dentist that stated I needed partial on top. This dentist Yero stated I needed all my teeth pulled and dentures. The VA dentist also agreed with partial. Don't go to his provider . The office manager stated he would amend the note she sent to VA so I could receive the payment rial that I was sent here for. The VA stated he never amended anything and they refuse to provide my partial. I had to give a star to post his but they shouldn't get one star.

Very disappointed with the 'emergency' assistance with this practice. I have had implants for…read moreyears but when the bridge broke, I called Lakeside Dental. They needed to make a new one and change the existing posts. The bridge is extremely ugly and uncomfortable (doesn't look like teeth - even my friends have questioned the work) and it's very tight. Currently, it is 'stuck' and I am unable to remove it. When I called and explained the situation, I was told the earliest anyone can see me is a week away. Funny how when I needed a lot of very expensive work they were able to schedule me for the next day but for a simple 5 minute job, the wait is a week. On a positive note, I really do like Dr. Silva but I do question the competency of the dental lab he uses.
