That said, we have no idea how well it has been maintained throughout the years. I've been living in my home for 5 years now. I've never had an issue with my septic. The moment I did, Scott was at my house within a very short time. (He actually came highly recommended by Mr. Sewer Rooter, in Painesville. That's another great review there, because as you know, all these local boys are in cahoots). Scott quoted us a very reasonable price on a Thursday. My hubby and I thought about it over the weekend and decided on Monday to give him the job. He came over prompt and courteous Monday evening. He just happened to have an opening to do the job the next day! Wow! The boys arrived at 8:00 am Tuesday and had the whole job buttoned up by 1:00 pm. They were super nice, explained everything to me and really set my mind at ease. We are very happy with our new leach field. It was an immediate relief and improvement on our septic system. What was going to be a one day fix ended up taking two days of work as we discovered the old problems,and fixed them, but he was hard at work the entire time. Saw him work for hours with a spade clearing dirt around the abandoned gas line when the bucket digger would have been too risky. He wasn't cheap. But he was prompt, professional, and solved a problem that had existed on again off again for years that ultimately ended up arising because last time the line was worked on, they went cheap instead. Good local guy, I know his family.

He called and the first thing he said was "I'm not going over THAT bridge!" He has never been to my property, to my knowledge, and when I asked why, he refused to answer me, just kept repeating the same thing. I told him I possibly had a blockage and needed my tank pumped, so did he have any suggestions for me. He told me to "call everyone in the phone book" and hung up on me! I have a small concrete bridge that leads to my house and a large truck may have a problem coming across this bridge. I was told by other companies that this person had a smaller truck and would be able to make it across the bridge. My husband asked if he had a single-axle truck and he said he did, but he wasn't coming across the bridge! No reason, just that he wasn't doing it! He was rude and condescending, and I wouldn't recommend him to anyone that wants to have their septic tank pumped! Fast forward to today. He called me and thanked me, sarcastically, for my Google review (1 star) and said that because I told him I had sewage in my backyard he was going to do me a favor and call the Health Department for me! Keep in mind that he has never been to my home, nor has he seen my yard nor did I tell him I had sewage in my yard. I pleasantly thanked him and hung up on him! There is no value in receiving service from any business that refuses to respond to phone calls if they don't want your business. They should, at the very least, let you know they are not interested. And then they should treat you with some level of respect when they know you have a need for their service. This business does neither! I also did a review on Google which Jeff responded to initially, then stated it is a fictitious complaint because I an not a customer. This is true, I am NOT a customer, he refused to accept my business!
