I love physical books, but don't buy them often because I have a Kindle and because they've gotten expensive over the years. HOWEVER, give me a deal and it's on! HAHA! I had never been to this book store until the sale. It's small, but there's such a good selection of used books. The used books are also in really good shape. The team member on site the day we went was GREAT! He took the time to assist us in looking for books on our lists and giving us recommendations for other books to read. I also like the idea that you can bring the books back that you purchase, for a percentage off on your next book. Check them out, explore the selection they have, and support local!

The process was super easy. I went partly in hopes of finding a used copy of a novel my Book Club has been wanting to read, but isn't at the library. I was shocked/overjoyed to find TWO copies, both of which I purchased on the spot. Great value for sure. Can't wait to go back & browse their selection more fully when I have more time. (I will definitely be bringing more books to trade-in also.) *The shopping center where this is located has a lot of other fun gems also- check out Ferrucci's!

They have plenty of seating where you can spend some time reading and relax. I usually come here for Christian greeting cards or to gift someone a Bible (they have an option to engrave in the store and gift wrap). Parking is easy and free in front of the store. The only suggestions I would make is to improve their coffee quality and sell baked goods so people can hang out and eat, open later hours in the evening and host events for the community. Customer service is nice and they gift wrap for a small fee which is convenient. If you're curious about a Christian author and don't want to buy the book online then you can check it out here first. Some genres could be expanded on though. I have liked the place for years. I remember it being their for over 20 years. I recommend visiting it at least once to find out what you think yourself.

This is one of those gems of stores that are hidden in a suburb of a major city. This bookstore is small, but it has a good selection of used and new books at an affordable price. The store offers a trade credit program that participants can earn up to 50% off all used books in the store as well as an extra 15% off any new titles, including special orders. It is located in the Lowes' Foods Shopping Center, with free parking, at the corner of Highway 49 and Roberta Road in Harrisburg, NC. Overall, 100% recommended!

I read through some of the other reviews and I want to set the record straight. Yes, it's inside a church but there is a separate entrance. Yes, there are Christian books but also other genres. Yes, the coffee is very affordable BECAUSE all the staff are volunteers. No one is getting paid and they LOVE what they do. All smiles and great service. The proceeds go to local and global missions of the church. Win, win all the way around. The place itself is very spacious. Two levels. The seating areas are comfortable and far enough apart you can have some semiprivacy if you need it. My friend who brought me says she comes here all the time to study (she's in college). All of the staff knew her by name. (love places like that) I'm not a coffee drinker so I can't really speak to the coffee (although my friend says it's pretty good). I am a tea drinker though and they have a variety of flavors, some refresher juice drinks, a few pastries. Please support. Every now and again if you're thinking of getting coffee or a pastry, choose them. Why not? Do some good for the community through others who are committed to giving back.

My favorite part are all the sticky notes around the bookshelves with recommendations or information about what books might have the author signature inside. There's offerings of free hot beverage and a sofa with a few places to sit on the main part of the bookstore which is a nice touch, too. As a sidebar, I love the little town of Mooresville, too!
