Scanning the aisles of DT is one of my guilty pleasures, I LOVE taking my time and perusing the entire store and it's really easy at THIS location. The aisles are wide and it's a larger store than most. In case you're not familiar with DT stores, first of all, everything is $1.00! I cannot tell you how many times I've heard customers ask, "How much is this?" Second, all DT stores have a great party supply section, as well as holiday decorations. This location has a really great craft supply section! During this pandemic it has been great to get craft supplies on the cheap, definitely makes staying home more fun. I, also, enjoy going through the books in DT and this location has had some great selections. I got some good ones here, including a really big cookbook back when before the COVID19 shutdown. The staff here are all very friendly and courteous! This location does stay pretty busy, too! I guess everyone loves a bargain!

The store is so neat and orderly I quickly found what I was looking for and was on my way. I was amazed that post holiday that the Christmas section wasn't a looted fallout zone like my local Dollar Tree. Staff is friendly and helpful and the store is very large so they have a great selection of basic items.

I have been coming here for 5 years, to span two different dogs and many different dog and cat friends. While a little pricier than other options in the area, this pet store is stocked with items that are well vetted and understood by the owners and employees personally. Every employee can provide genuine input and assistance into any pet related needs whether it's food, treats, harnesses or clothing, toys, etc. There are many familiar faces that have stayed working here over the years, which is always a plus. I also love what they do for the community, helping police dogs and sponsoring little events, such as around the holidays where they give free treats and coupons or other items. Follow their social media to stay up to date! There is a bath you can use (I haven't used it yet but have almost needed to so many times) where they provide all the materials and do the clean up. It's on a first come first serve basis, but you can always call to gauge how busy it is. Student discounts offered only on certain days. Not best budget for broke students but the assurance I have with the quality of the items (esp food) I'm buying for my dog is worth it.

There were a lot of customers in the store at my time of visit, but we had no problems navigating the aisles and finding everything that we needed in a timely manner. They did not have an African American hair care section which was a minor setback, but we still found everything else we needed this evening. We were even rang out extremely fast regardless of the line and only one register being opened, so it was amazing being able to go in and out quickly. I am a Conover, North Carolina native, but I haven't shopped in this location for about 5 years, so I can happily say that the store has greatly improved since I've been away! Highly impressed.
