It takes an average of 8-12 minutes per car in the drive-thru line and it's not any faster in the store. I pulled into the drive-thru line with three cars in front of me, counting the one at the window, and it took nearly 30 minutes to get to the window. The drive-thru tray opened and closed 3 times per car, including mine! They ask for my birthdate after I had just given them my license with my photo on it, then sends out a signature card for the insurance, then went for my prescriptions, then sends my prescriptions and my payment method back through the window. I used to use CVS and just switched back to them over this issue today. Some people my have all day to sit in a drive-thru line but I'm not one of them. CVS isn't much better but anything is better than this Walmart Pharmacy's drive-thru and in store checkout.

My dog his name is Taco is my best buddy. He has many health issues. I arrived at this CVS on CatawbaValley Blvd. In Hickory NC at 430 pm they close at 7. She said she would not fill it until the next day. I asked why and Ashley became belligerent, short and very disrespectful. Completely uncaring for my animal. Because Taco has a callopsed trachea and congestive heart failure. Along with Kidney disease. Ashley, when I arrived was doing absolutly nothing but chatting with a coworker behind the counter. Laughing and having a good time. I told her that i really need this medicine for the evening so Taco could sleep. She stated plainly that she didn't care about my dog and his problems. I was dumbfounded. WTH!!! She further stated that she wouldnt fill it without my Vet's DEA number. I said well call the Vet. The vet I use was still working until 5. She wouldn't do it. So I walked out to the parking lot and called my Vet and told her what was going on. She said she would call Ashley herself. And she did. My vet called me back a few minutes later and she said that Ashley really was a bi?ch. Even to the Vet. I wasnt able to get Taco's meds that night and of course taco had a really bad night as did I. All because of an apathetic rude uncaring individual named Ashley at the CVS store in Hickory. Ashley is a very shady character. No integrity. Absolutly none. Obviously hates animals. She really needs to get a solitary job where she is absolutly alone. She has zero people skills. Or empathy towards animals. I'll go out on a limb and state that she probably supports the Trump administration.

My doctor called a prescription in on Friday and they did not have any in stock. I was called hours afterwards and told this. The pharmacy tech said it would be Monday before I could get. I asked if there was anything I could do, and she smirked and said your doctor can call it in to another store. It was 6:30 on Friday evening. I will never use this pharmacy again. This is not the first time this has happened at this pharmacy and when I used CVS they would call another CVS and have it transferred over.

I just made a phone call to let them know my partner was coming to retrieve a prescription of mine because I don't feel well enough to drive on my own. Well after sitting on hold for 5 years and having to call back, argue with the bot, and FINALLY get to talk to someone, she's unenthusiastic, bored tone, short answering, "mm. bye*click*" was how the phone call was ended after my question was answered(thankfully). I know it's not a "don't go here this place is horrible" kinda review but seriously, it was a simple question on a phone call, put in a little energy, get it done, and don't be a cunt about it.
