I'm ready to move my prescriptions elsewhere. There is one person, I think the manager, who is just so negative and difficult and sometimes mean.... Life is just too short. She made another mistake with my medicine tonight which required a second trip- but it's not the first time. And while I was waiting she was busy being rude and condescending to a Hispanic family! Some of the other staff are very nice, and the store staff are always terrific, but it's not worth the aggravation. read more

Requested a transfer days ago and they didn't have it when I went to store and refused to resolve the issue. They ignored my transfer request even though the confirmation email said it'd be ready a day before I went to get it. Now I'm without my medicine which I ordered in advance. read more

For many years, I have had very consistent and reliable experiences with any Walgreens stores/locations. I have been surprised at how well they do this (must be great training). Whereas CVS has been very consistent with burning me... although the CVS across the street, maybe an exception.. only went there once, and it was surprisingly good, compared to any other. Wouldn't trust any other place with my health needs. Extremely friendly staff (especially in the pharmacy). I have pulled up to the drive-thru window and they have called me by my name! It shows they care about the people that come to see them. Once they were restructuring their aisles and had stored all of the joint supplements in the back. When I inquired about it a gentlemen wheeled out the entire stock of supplements and helped me find the brand I require to avoid joint pain. He thanked me for asking about them and asked if he could do anything else. Really outstanding service, and a great location! read more

Have had no problems with Walgreens in Mountain View. Store is big, clean and have the friendliest employees. Unlike some, they always greet me when I come in the door, and are very courteous and helpful when I need assistance. I feel like most of the other stores in the Hickory area could use some training in being more courteous and friendly to their customers and perhaps they need to visit Walgreens to get a few tips on that. this walgreens on hwy 127 is the worst! the pharmacy staff is extremely rude, they never have your prescription filled. and their web site state in 30 minutes or less! what a joke!!!! i had three prescriptions called in my my doctor on a thursday. when went to the pharmacy the next evening friday! oh they only had one ready. and of course i could come back on saturday and they would have it ready.. so, i did purchase the one that they had ready. amazing! that they had it ready. went back on saturday ---- its not ready, you can wait 15 minutes or come back tomorrow. so i tell them i will return on sunday. i return on sunday (just a reminder to everyone reading this.. my 3rd trip. and guess what ??? it not flipping ready. i can wait or come back the next day. this is my 3rd trip so i tell them i will wait. i am in the drive through no one is behind me. and i am told to drive around and i tell them no i will wait right here. they told me i could not do that... let state again, this is my 3rd trip, no one is behind me and i can't sit there and wait for my prescription? so let me think about this as i am sitting there getting angrier by the minute, (i am the customer, this is my 3rd trip to this store for my prescription) and i am being treated like shit! so a car pulls up after i have been there about 5 minutes and they tell me i have to leave the window or they are going to call the cops!! freaking unbelieveable. so i told them its ok transfer my prescriptions to the cvs across the street! when they say your prescription will be ready its ready. people this is unacceptable!!! no all walgreens treats their customers like this do not go to ts pharmacy in mt view at walgreens.. this is so wrong.. i made 3 trips, and it still was not ready. so what about my time, what about the website stating in 30 minutes or less your prescriptions will be ready! its on the website read it.. this pharmacy should be shut down. not one time did anyone say oh i am sorry your prescription is not ready!! no customer service just rude bitches. yes i said it and i will shout it louder for those of you on the back row.. don"t go to this pharmacy they are rude!! i will tell everyone that i know about this terrible pharmacy. before rite aid was bought out by walgreens rite aid pharmacy staff was the best ever!!! friendly exceptional customer service and they cared about their customers. this group of individuals that work at this walgreens in the pharmacy are terrible!!!! do not go to this pharmacy! go across the street to cvs!! that is what i did and i will never ever step foot in that walgreens again, and everyone that i can tell about this place i will. to the pharmacy workers you need to go back to school you missed the class on customer service. or failed it one... one angry customer who want be back! read more

I had a great experience with pharmacy tech, Holly Helton. She helped me make the correct choice with my medications and explained how my insurance worked . No body at any other drug store ever took the time to help me like she did. She also helped me pick out other items i needed and helped me save money on them. I will be back and tell my family too to start asking for Holly. read more

The Walgreens in Mtn. View is a horrible place for customer service.M y brother-in-law who has a diagnosis of ALS went in there today to fill his prescriptions as CVS was out of the meds he needed. The pharmacist refused to fil prescription until he knew my brother-in-laws diagnosis. I can understand him wanting to confirm the prescription as it is a narcotic and that ishis job. He does not need his diagnosis. He was so rude that he actually hung up on the physician that had written the prescription. The physician had to call my brother-in-law (who was still in the store being mortified as everyone was looking at him) and tell him he would have to go somewhere else because the pharmacy wanted a diagnosis and she could not give it to them without permission. He said to give it to them because CVS was out of the meds and he truly was in a lot of pain. the physician called the pharmacy and talked to the pharmacist again. You would think everything would be alright after that, but noooooooo. The pharmacist then started taking all kind of people in front of him, and made him sit there. My husband (who was with him) finally went to the counter and made a remark to the pharmacist, who acted like everything was normal. he said it would be ready in 10 minutes. as soon as my husband sat down my brother-in-laws name was called. His prescription had been ready. I will personally drive him to another county to a CVS the next time the local stores are out of his medicine. I will not step back in there or none of my family either. I called the manager who was very condescending and said "he could talk to the pharmacist." All I wanted was an apology be given to a man who is dealing with a horrible disease and then had to put up with this just to get his medication. No, they did not have suits on, and we are not wealthy, but being treated like this just because of your appearance is truly the definition of stereotyping and profiling. read more
