The service here is very good and they're helpful, but aren't hovering. I find that the quality of their plants is very good for the price, even if sometimes the price feels a tiny bit high. (Sure, you could go to Home Depot and get something cheap, but for a few extra dollars, I prefer more mature plants that are hard to kill considering my lack of green thumb.) Inside, their building is filled with everything you may need: seed, fertilizer, pesticide, tools, patio furniture, fountains, garden stakes, garden decorations - you name it! It's fun to walk around especially after being inspired by their incredible variety outside. They also sell flowers and other items to brighten someone's day if they are at the Virtua Voorhees hospital across the way, but I personally haven't tried their bouquets. They give me 2 other locations to call. When I call they give me numbers to call for 3rd party movers who don't answer their phones and the one Big lots in glassboro doesn't answer their phone.... When they cancelled my order they said that it usually lets the hold go on my card instantly. Then another person when I call says it takes a couple hours. 4 hours later I call my bank who can't help. I call Big lots again. They said to call customer care. 20 more minutes on the phone with customer care only to find I won't get the money back on my card til next week. I get a weekend with no couch and they hold a large chunk of my payroll check because they are incompetent. NOT ONE SORRY. NOT ONE out of 10+ phone calls. A little responsibility goes a long way with me. No one cares any more. I will never purchase from this chain again.

Opening was scheduled before Memorial Day, then pushed back- by the company- because they were overbooked. The second scheduled opening day arrived, but the company decided they wouldn't open the pool because of allegedly too much water on the cover. Upon further discussion with the company they try and say that they warned me before about the water issue (they did not), & this was never an issue in the past- what's wrong now? Their response was "whoever did it before was doing you a favor." I requested a refund since I paid in advance. The reimbursement check arrived today and in the memo line they wrote "because she" (myself) doesn't have the money." False. I requested a refund because of the downright rude way I was spoken to over the phone, and the lack of communication about this supposed water issue. Not to mention that upon returning home from work the day of the attempted second opening they left the gate to my backyard unlocked & open & left the pool supplies on my back deck haphazardly. God only knows what could have happened if someone had attempted to burglarize my house because the workers didn't close the gate. Thanks Piper. You just lost my business- forever.
