I wish I could Add photos so everyone could see what an awesome job you guys did. read more

They did our basement walls. Pretty good job, but luckily I notice and they were going to leave without doing the top ledge of the walls. But besides that, job was done as good as it could be for an old house with deteriorating walls. read more

The best of the best in concrete work, Michael and Brian, the owners of almand Brothers concrete talk about professionalism their entire crew just grade the quality of their workmanship. Unbelievable when they say they're they're they're they're personable caring about the job my wife's in a wheelchair she needed extra consideration for the slope how it meets the street they did everything perfect the driveway everything they did was total consideration, I can't thank this company enough for the work that they did on my house. I will recommend them and use them in the future John D'Antonio. read more

This is a horrible company. Very bad customer service and work. Don't hire them. They will not return calls, cause damage to your property, and be very rude. They leave their dirt and materials behind and their safety is questionable. read more

Did not contract with them myself but they poured the driveway of the house we purchased months before we moved in. After a few days of living here our basement flooded. At first we thought it was our washer. Unfortunately it was because the sewer line clean out at the base of the driveway had concrete in it. Plumbing company came out to replace the clean out and get rid of the backup. They cut a section of the driveway apron to do it. They cut the old clean out pipe out and showed me still curing concrete in the pipe. I called Almand Bros and asked how we could best figure this out considering I just spent 8k to solve the issue that they created. Almond bros said "sue me"... professional is not how I'd describe this company. The seller saved some face with us by convincing them to come and replace the concrete that was demoed to replace the clean out. To recommend not using this company is an understatement. Based on other reviews I've read we too will probably have to redo our driveway sooner rather than later. read more

Almand Bros. did my back patio a month ago. Since that time we have called numerous times to have the work they completed fixed. They have the same line "I will call the owner" then they get back on the line and say someone will be out the next day. In which case they do not show up or call. They left the air condition unit pad off to the side and were supposed to come back 2 days after completing the job to put it under, cracks on both walls coming up from the step, surface pops on the concrete patio, did not fully complete the concrete at the base of the steps by the door and caulked it, damaged our vinyl siding that is less than a year old, damaged our vinyl fence, and left trash, nails, and wood in the street. With 40+ years experience, I wonder how they got this far. If you do use them, which I DO NOT recommend, do not pay them in full the same day the job is completed or you will have the same issues. Update: They finally came out last week after receiving an email from the Better Business Bureau. Bottom of the steps by the door still looks like a repair job and side walls of the steps cracked again in the same spot 4 days later. They cleaned their tools and splattered concrete all over the soffit on the overhang. If I could leave zero stars I would. Very disrespectful company. Owners son should not be in this business the way he talks to customer. read more

I've used this company twice, and have been more than delighted each time. Most recently they replaced a crumbling driveway, steps, and sidewalk at a century-old house. From the estimate to the completion of the job the company was great. There were hiccups with permitting (not because of Almand Bros), and the company gave me the information I needed to obtain zoning board approval of a variance to replace the driveway. And this company knows to angle/grade the paving for drainage! Sure, there may be a building code provision that requires grading so water flows away from the house, but not all companies pay attention. Almand Bros does! The water flows AWAY from the foundation and out to the street. Neighbors have used other companies who were not as diligent, and water drains right to their foundations and into their basements. If the need arises, I'll hire this company again, without hesitation. read more

High quality work and an extremely fair price. When my wife and I decided to get our front walkway and driveway renovated, we spoke with 4-6 different companies. Some didn't return our calls, others didn't want to give us an estimate in person, and some were outrageous in price. Brian showed up early and went through everything that needed to be done after we showed him our vision. After coming to an agreement on price, he was diligent with his work and left the place cleaner than it was before. Thank you so much Almand Brothers. Highly recommend read more

This is our second time using this company for cement in my back yard and both experiences were smooth and professional. Prior to the work, Samantha was easy and quick to communicate the contract & scheduling logistics with and also took care of our permit. Day of service was great as well. They were on time, & their head worker, Brian was clear, very polite, and helpful with tips on how to care for the new patio area. He made sure we agreed on the work being done, and his team executed a rather large job in just one day-- and it was a HOT one!! It looks great and we're very happy with it! read more

"Lawnside NJ" Almand Brothers, replaced our driveway and some side walk slabs. The workmanship is "All" that.....It gave our home a new look.....We love it so much, we have called them back to do the rest and then some !!!!!! Great company from the office to the "team" working in the field..... I would highly recommend them if you want a professional job...... read more

My entrance steps (3- 8FT WIDE STEPS) are absolutely disgusting! They took away the old steps and poured new concrete with more stones than cement! Then 5 days later came back and PARGED them leaving a ripple effect on the edges. NO straight lines. COMPLETELY DISSATIFIED!!! no discount can make up this mistake. I look at those steps every day. read more

The Almand Brothers removed our large brick patio and replaced with a large concrete patio. Workers laid down matts to protect our lawn. The large crew quickly removed the bricks and surrounding rail rd ties, leveled the ground and built the forms. By evening the concrete was poured. We were very happy with results and can't wait to enjoy it when the weather warms up. I highly recommend them and would use them again. read more

The guys are HORRIBLE!! They are happy to take your money and pretend you have a warranty but simply ignore you if there is a problem. My concrete steps are falling apart and they cannot be bothered to call me back or fix the problem. It has been months of emails and phone calls that are ignored. read more

These guys are GREAT! They arrived on time/early everyday and worked tirelessly until the job was done. We only had a parking pad which they turned into a 3 car driveway. They take pride in their work and the guys were very friendly too. The owner, Mike Almand, is fun, creative, and very experienced. This is a great company to hire if you need any type of concrete work! We then had to extend our driveway (my husband wants to go all the way back now) and build an a retaining garden wall around the new driveway, steps and a walkway. They did a beautiful job! Thanks Almand Brothers!!!! read more

The guys did an awesome job with our new patio. They were fast to schedule us and they knocked it all out in one day. It looked so much nicer than I imagined it would. I highly recommend these guys. I will use them in the future for more home improvements. read more

This company will give you a good price but they cut corners and do a half assed job. I watched a real concrete company do my neighbor's driveway and they used mesh and rebar which prevents cracking. Almand brothers just poured the concrete on the ground and uses nothing. Guess what it won't last past a year. You get what you pay for people. Don't fall for a cheap price. I learned my lesson. read more

They gave me a quote to patch a segment of my driveway. They were supposed to come out on a Saturday morning at 7:30, but they no showed. I called twice with no response. On Monday they told me they would come out the following morning, but they no showed again. I called two times that week and was told that Mike would call me back, but he never did. I finally went elsewhere. They did my driveway 15 years ago, and did a reasonable job, but I will not work with such an unprofessional company that does not have the common courtesy to return a customer's phone calls. read more

Why doesn't Yelp allow for 'zero' stars? Truly the worst customer service I've ever experienced. As a successful Realtor I take great pride in "delivering satisfaction beyond compare.". For a Certificate Of Occupancy issue, my clients had to work with this company because that is who the Seller chose. Correction, the company, Haddon Heights officials suggested they use. Had I checked out the reviews, even the few here on Yelp, I never would have allowed my clients to agree to have Almand do the work. A sample of what they experienced...four appointments scheduled, four 'no shows' with not the courtesy of even a call. It was a nightmare each time we tried to schedule the next appointment. The work has finally been done and we have the COO but based on the other reviews, It's a job my clients will probably need to have redone by professionals, in the near future. My next stop is to contact Haddon Heights township officials to gain a better understanding as to why they are recommending such a company. read more
