I hope that I am not bombarded with emails, since you are forced to supply an email address. The grounds are beautiful. You can walk among some hops. There were also two food trucks, and a bar. I wasn't hungry, but the menus did sound great! There was a live band that was pretty good, and plenty of seating. The admission charge was $5. The market ran from 5-9 pm. I signed up for a tarot card reading, but alas it was VERY popular. It was a 3-card reading for $25. Readings took about 10-15 minutes. Unfortunately, by the time that I wanted to leave (before it got dark), he was still on the first page. So I crossed out my name. There were some very fun tables, with jewelry, perfume, and crafts, also a bookstore and a tee shirt stand. The "metaphysical" bookstore was adorable, with a fun "Blind Date with a Book" selection. There were some oracle cards and a couple of decks of tarot cards. As someone who has been to many metaphysical bookstores, and owns a decent collection of books, I wouldn't say that this store qualifies. But it's fun, and the proprietor was wearing a witch hat. I think that it was appropriate for the venue. Not for serious searchers. I browsed all the booths. There was the usual selection of stone bead bracelets. These used to be $5-7, but are now $28. H'mmm. There were craft booths, and a chain bracelet/ankle bracelet/necklace that were finished as you sat. The chains (sterling, gold, or other) were very, very, very thin and quite expensive. The people running the booths were generally very friendly. There were a couple of exceptions. The perfume lady did not have prices posted, and ignored the woman next to me, who asked for the price three times before she and her daughter left without buying anything. They had picked out two fragrances each. The perfumes were beautifully packaged, but the two that I tried on sample paper seemed to lack the notes referenced on the cards. The tee shirt guy didn't greet anyone who walked in. This was my first "fall festival" experience. While the venue is beautiful, and the vendors varied, I found the available merchandise to be extremely overpriced IMO. Granted, tariffs, inflation, etc, but prices were very high for what was offered. There were also gorgeous candles and soaps. Beautiful, and would be very nice for gifts, but IMO quite expensive for what they were. Very nicely packaged, which definitely contributed to the cost. Maybe it's just me. I had a reseller license in CO, and plan to get one in NY to sell my jewelry. So I know what stones, packaging, etc, cost wholesale. To be fair, though, that was pre-tariff. Anyway, it was a pleasant hour. I'm sorry that I wasn't hungry, because the food truck offerings were probably delicious.

We came here for the tulip festival and had an amazing time!…read more Prices for the festival are steep ($25 PP on weekends) but we made the most of it. Rows and rows of tulips that are $1 each! If you were able to get the bulbs you could take those home too, which is a nice perk since they are perennials and will come back year after year. Plenty of parking. Tickets are cash or card. They have some goodies to also purchase on your way out. Petting farm for the kiddos (I mean I squealed when I saw the cute pigs too). Live music. Food trucks. The main nursery is open, as well. Lots of plants for sale when we went. And LI Farm Brewery is on premises!

Currently only open on weekends Friday & Saturday from 4pm-8pm Live music provides a great fun vibe to enjoy a cold one, and a fresh made snack from the snack shack. With the farm animals and play area, it's the perfect spot for families to enjoy some outdoor fun while kids enjoy the attractions. It's really a fun spot for all ages. My husband and I are locals. Been patronizing this farm for years now. The owners are an amazing family who do so much for our local community. They always have veggies, fresh mozzarella and amazing homemade baked goods for sale in the farm stand. 5 star fun 4 star food & drinks 3 star prices..IMHO kinda expensive for sitting on a farm on 25a. Lots of flies (not their fault..it's a farm with animals after all) But not how I want to sit and enjoy an $8 beer $12 pulled pork sliders as a human fly swatter. There's plenty of seating spread out: picnic tables, Adirondack chairs etc. Was better sitting far away from bar and animal area. I love this spot! I hope they are very successful for many years to come! Come on down to the farm for a drink or snack. We will definitely be back, but at the current pricing structure not as often as I would if pricing was a little cheaper.

The childrens and adults programs are educational, informative, and fun. The farm has allowed suburban children the opportunity to learn about all the aspects of farming from sowing and birthing on through to harvesting. Always looking for an adventure...As we drove on Sound Avenue on this beautiful autumn day, there…read morewas a small "Red Barn Farm - Shop Open till 3:00 pm" sign. Having NEVER seen this before, we literally had to turn around to check out what this shop could possibly be! Taking the long winding road to the actual Red Bar Farm had us wondering how you get out when only one car can fit on this road. Turns out it's a one way in and one way out so there's no cause for concern about that. It's easy to know you've arrived because upon you spot the red barn the area widens with parking. Once we got out, we were unsure where exactly to go but a friendly Ashley emerged from the small shop across from the red barn directing us to the shop. Once inside, we found this small shop filled with yarn (some from the alpacas on the property), jewelry by AshleyRoseJewelry, dream catchers, crystals, homemade soy candles and more. The highlight of our visit was chatting with Ashley (daughter of the owners) who shared the story behind the Red Barn Farm. With 6 alpacas, who went viral during Covid, they are what drew people to want to visit. For us, it was a small sign on the side of that road that caught our eyes. After our chat, we ventured out toward the barn to see the alpacas, chickens, miniature horses. Additionally there were wild turkeys and a deer just passing through. This little hidden gem is worth a visit just for the story and the alpacas. On a beautiful day like the day we stopped, it's a little slice of country on a farm. And if you are small business supporter, then you'll also appreciate the products that are unique & different. My Theo Snuggles soy candle is like no other.
