BROKEN LEG! It is…read moreunfortunate that I am having to even post this. Grooming deals has not only broken my dog's leg but has cost and will continue to cost us thousands of dollars in vet bills due to the break being so bad that she may have to have amputation if her surgery doesn't take. When this was addressed with the owner and the groomer that did this, they not only acted unapologetic but they also charged my mother for the service. They only refunded the money after we called back and demanded a refund. When we told them we will be taking legal action, Angie's (owner) response was to ask my mother if she could go to a cheaper vet and that "hopefully her insurance will be able to cover this". We took piper to an Emergency ER vet, as anyone would do whose dog's leg was just freshly broken. This is what she and her staff think of our pets. They are money to them and do not care about the safety and wellbeing of the dogs. Three other people that we spoke with today about the incident (two family friends and and family member) also had similar experiences with this establishment. Photos below. Upon entering I was asked to fill out a card about any allergies or skin issues and basic questions. The waiting area was very clean and the staff was welcoming, it felt like I was leaving Coco with family. I dropped him off and picked him up about 1 1/2 hours later. He looked like a new dog when I picked him up! He was so happy!

They take too many appointments, and these days it can take them up to 1.45 hr to groom a small dog. Today, I went in at 1:45 and saw many, many dogs coming out until 3:30pm., when I left with my little dog. For the first time, I did not feel like tipping, and was relieved to leave. Soon after, the owner who did not appreciate that gesture, called and told me that if I was not happy, I didn't have to go back. I thank him for that splendid idea. No more accommodating them and being taken for granted forever. Clients come first and are always right.

Unfortunately, those instructions were not followed, and there was no communication with me before significant changes were made to her haircut. When I picked her up, nearly all of her hair had been shaved off, while her tail was left long and she was given a Mohawk. This was completely different from what I had requested. Had the groomer contacted me before proceeding with a haircut that differed so drastically from my instructions, I could have addressed the issue at that time. I requested a refund because the service I paid for was not what I received, but my refund was refused. I was instead offered a complimentary grooming service. I declined because, after this experience, I would not feel comfortable trusting them with my dog again. I am very unhappy with both the grooming itself and the lack of communication. I believe customers should be able to expect their instructions to be followed and to be contacted if there is any uncertainty about how their pet should be groomed. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this grooming service and would encourage other pet owners to consider their options carefully before booking an appointment.

I wish they had cameras that people could open and check on their dog, but I also understand the can of worms that would open. We have had a few issues with our dog eating things she wasn't supposed to, that ended up with expensive vet bills. The team was very responsive, caring, and investigated until they figured out what she was eating. I worry that it's a ratio issue - too many dogs and not enough supervision. But, they corrected the access issue between the problem chews and our pup and we haven't had a problem since.
