Always a great grooming experience here. I've been using Angie and her team for over 13 years for our 2 little toy breeds.

BROKEN LEG! It is unfortunate that I am having to even post this. Grooming deals has not only broken my dog's leg but has cost and will continue to cost us thousands of dollars in vet bills due to the break being so bad that she may have to have amputation if her surgery doesn't take. When this was addressed with the owner and the groomer that did this, they not only acted unapologetic but they also charged my mother for the service. They only refunded the money after we called back and demanded a refund. When we told them we will be taking legal action, Angie's (owner) response was to ask my mother if she could go to a cheaper vet and that "hopefully her insurance will be able to cover this". We took piper to an Emergency ER vet, as anyone would do whose dog's leg was just freshly broken. This is what she and her staff think of our pets. They are money to them and do not care about the safety and wellbeing of the dogs. Three other people that we spoke with today about the incident (two family friends and and family member) also had similar experiences with this establishment. Photos below. Was looking for a groomer to get a walk in nail trim for my 2 littles so I decided to call and ask Grooming deals if they accepted walk ins, which they do (until 2pm). So we loaded up and headed there. I want to first say, this is the first time I have gone there. As soon as I walked in the door with 2 dogs in hand, I got a friendly greet and even though all but 1 grooming table was in use, they immediately took 1 dog, yelled for more assistance and then took the 2nd one. I love the fact that they are completely transparent and work in full view of the fur-parent. They interacted with my dogs in a kind and gentle manner and instead of clipping they grind the nails to their proper length. It was fast and efficient and I just really felt comfortable in their setting. I took my 3rd dog to a competitors office yesterday and I have to say, Groomingdeals is where we'll be going for future needs. It's a little pricier but for the quality customer service and interaction you get it's worth it. read more

I have used this groomer several times, but something happened months ago that made me feel uncomfortable. I can't stop thinking about it and I won't be taking my dog back again. I went in to pick up my dog, no issues with her, it was fine. But I was waiting kind of in a spot where I wasn't visible to the groomers. The blond to the back was grooming a small dog that was a bit yappy and pulling away. I saw the groomer yank the dog's face and she yelled "STOP". I kind of moved my body so that she could see me and she said to me "I'm not hurting him!" It has been on mind and I've taken my dog there a few times since this happened, always making sure someone else was grooming my dog. But I was recently reading other reviews trying to see if I could find the name of a groomer that has left, I noticed there are several comments about dogs being harmed there. I feel like my gut feeling and what I saw was not something to ignore any longer. read more

Walked in with my two Shih Tzu's for the first time and they were both comfortable. The girls listened to what I wanted and handled my two girls wonderfully!! I have two older special needs dogs and I don't typically take them to places I don't know. I can't express how pleased I was with this groomer. The worst experience of ever had at a Grooming Salon , of course it was my first . I was referred to them by my neighbors. They have two dogs they currently get groomed by them . The husband used to have a small dog that Angie groomed for them but unfortunately she passed . I seen her quite often and liked her very much . I got a Maltipoo which was quite similar. I wanted to get my cut like hers . To make a long story short I was a little unsatisfied with the cut it had nothing to do with the groomer she did exactly what she was told . I went down to talk to Angie with my neighbor about the cut because I had previously talked to her on the phone and she said she had cut it exactly like his dog's hair . He said he had never seen his dog cut that short before . That's why I asked him to go down there with me . I was trying to talk to Angie to express my feelings about the situation and how she had handled it . The groomer kept interrupting so I asked her to step outside so he could talk privately . I started trying to tell my story again and I got interrupted so I asked her to please let me finish my statement before she interrupted . That's when she stated she was about 10 seconds away from being done with me . I seen this relationship was going nowhere so I said no ma'am we are done . At which point she proceeded to flip out and I mean flip out acted like she was going to hit me and by the way I'm a paraplegic 62 years old in a wheelchair I was no threat to her and had not threatened her . And start screaming she's going to call the cops . I told her go ahead and hit me I'll sue you for every penny you have . Her three co-workers had to restrain her while they call the cops on me for not doing anything . I just didn't want to use her anymore that's all LOL and the woman flipped out ! My neighbor tried to reason with her because she told him to get lost and I think she banned him from the premises . Not a very professional way to handle your business . I really just wanted to State my concerns about how she handled the situation and the haircut . Because of my main concern was that my dog was handled properly , and my dog was very happy to see Angie when we first got there so I was very pleasantly surprised . The woman has an anger issue be careful with her she'll call the cops on you for no reason . And ban one of her long-standing customers SMH. The neighbor had done nothing but stand there and be absolutely calm and listen to her and myself . He tried to reason with her while she was on the speaker phone with the police but she wasn't interested in what he had to say . read more

I moved from Winter Haven 3 years ago, but for the first year after my move I would drive 1hr and 15mins every month and a half to get my dog groomed there. I didn't find a groomer that I trusted with my dog for a very long time. I adopted my dog from her previous owners at a year old. And they had been taking her to Groomingdeals since she was a little puppy. She dealt with separation anxiety for the first few months with me, but I found that she would perk up after visits to the groomers. It made my heart warm that she found joy after going there. It made me trust them while she was in their care. They always took such great care with my baby Sugar and that's why I didn't mind driving for over an hour. Honestly, liked this place at the beginning, but now, my dogs grooming appt seems rushed even if she is there for almost 5hrs. She had a few knots on her thighs, same as last time, and I asked for a light trim. Once Elena (i think is her name) called me to say my dog was on the table to have her hair cut, she told me that my dog has a few knots on her and that I could either have them cut it shorter than talked about or they would just trim it and that i would have to take care of her knots myself. I'm sorry, but, isn't that your job at the groomers to bath and condition their hair to be able to get these knots out? There wasn't an issue last time, but now there is? So i agree to go a little bit shorter and within 25min. She calls me back and says she's ready to be picked up. Wow, super fast right? So, as i got there my dog came out completely shaved all the way down to where you see her pink skin. I'm not one to complain but i definitely should have once my dog came out. So, I paid and left. The more i looked at my dog the angrier i got on the way home because of how rushed her cut looked. It was uneven between her face and her body and her nails looked like they were just cut unevenly. So, once i got home my brother had the same reaction i did and called up there to speak to the manager. Angie (the manager) told my brother that it was agreed with how short the hair needed to be but not to where it's so short she looks like a razor was used to quickly get it done. And all Angie would say was "well the owner usually has 2 options, either we cut it that short or we send the dogs back home". I was so shocked at her response because it's like she didn't even care. She did offer for my dog to come back so they can even out her face with her body but I definitely did not want to bring my dog back over there, especially with how she was shaking. This is her last apportionment there especially with what I have heard how they actually treat our dogs there while we leave them to get groomed. Definitely would not recommend them and will wait the few months out that paw printz is booked until. read more

Never will return. Today I took my dog in at noon I was on time she's a 28 pound terrier. I got there at 3:20 she had only been bathed her nails had not been cut and she had not been groomed. She laid in the kennel from noon to 320 waiting for her groomer who is still working on a dog from that morning. When I arrived and showed my disappointment it became an argument by my dogs groomer but the groomer behind her started arguing with me as well. I am the customer I'm the unhappy one and they're arguing with me. I will never return 3 hours 20 minutes and NO RESULTS. read more

My first clue should have been when my dog refused to enter -- she had been there before. Then I got her to come inside and talked to a staff member about what I wanted done and what they could reasonably do. Very politely I said I didn't want her to be there too long -- not over 4 hours. She had been there so long last time that she was desperate to pee when I finally picked her up and let loose as soon as she got to the sidewalk. We did have an appointment, and I came in early at their request. But if they could only give her a bath, I was OK with that. If they could clip her, that would be nice too. I cared mostly that my dog had a good experience. Then the owner shouted from the back, unseen to me, telling me several times to get out, that she didn't want to do my dog, that she had plenty of other dogs and again, for me to leave. In shock, I responded that anyone who spoke that meanly to me would probably be mean to my dog and I would definitely not leave her with them. And we left. And we will never be back. read more

I went here for years with my dogs and I referred many friends to them as well. Recently, one of the friends I had referred told me that she took her two, very well behaved, dogs in to get their nails clipped. She said the staff was rude to her and cut her dogs nails so far into the quick that her dogs nails bled and she was crying. That day she also saw a girl with blonde hair smack a dog in the mouth because the dog was nipping at her and wouldn't sit still. I contacted the owner about the matter just so that she was aware. She said she would check her cameras but made it very clear she didn't believe me. She got back to me saying that she checked her cameras and nothing happened that day. And that my friends dog tried to bite her, which is not true at all. The blonde girl who was working that day is the owners daughter as well. The owner became very hostile with me when I was just trying to simply inform her on the information that I was told. Due to that alone I will no longer be taking my babies there or referring anyone. They were so nice in the beginning but unfortunately due to the unprofessionalism I won't be returning. read more

Best groomer I've used in this area. Friendly, reasonably priced, clean. They take an interest in your dogs too. My poodle needs special attention for her ears, prone to infection. They do this every time at no extra charge. read more
