They became farmers for a week…read morewhile sitting my psycho pony, minidonkeys, kunekune pig, chicken mafia, turkey mafia, 4 crazy goats, 2 bunnies and 3 dogs. The ladies spent an hour each day with my animals, sent pictures while they were there, and kept me informed each day about each animal. They even noticed a scratch on my pig! One of my turkeys was sick when I left and unfortunately passed away 2 days into my vacation. These wonderful ladies actually held him as he passed away and took care of his body. Seriously, what animal service does that?!? Their prices are ridiculously affordable and like the other reviewer, I too felt the need to pay more than asked. They are personable, kind, and clearly love what they do. I cannot recommend Ashley and Nancy highly enough!!

And rather than have them deal with the stress of being boarded, I decided to try a pet sitting service while I went on vacation. Ashley and Shawna came out to meet me and both were extremely friendly and professional. They both asked questions about the health of the animals, my vet's contact information, emergency contact info, etc. and had the appropriate paperwork to fill out. The peace of mind I had after they left was just what I needed! They will send you pictures of your pets while you are away to reassure you that everything is ok and also provide you with text updates. The price they quoted me was far too low in my opinion, so I felt it was necessary to pay them more than they were asking. Totally worth it! They even took the time to clean up a little!!! Let's face it. . . Four cats can be kind of messy. These guys are amazing! If you need a pet sitting service, I strongly recommend Aussie Mom!!!!!!!

Super disappointed with a recent boarding at My Pets. My Pets Animal Hospital has been our vet for…read moreyears. I've boarded the family Goldendoodle (Max - http://tiktok.com/@mackymaxdoodle) many times without any issue. I recently had to leave town for a family funeral for the weekend. I dropped off Max Friday. I should have known things have gone downhill at My Pets when they had lost his reservation and the pre-paperwork I had completed prior to his arrival. Max apparently did well on Friday however on Saturday evening during a family funeral gathering, I received a long text explaining Max had growled while the handler (Sasha) went to let him out. Without discussion, the handler texted to inform me they had decided to sedate Max. He had already stayed the night prior with no issues. They also informed me of the medication cost and additional expense to administer the medication. They promptly sent a video in which they took a second effort to enter the cold prison like room, walk to his cell, and without being friendly to him and calling his name, they clanked the door latches and yes, he made a purring/growling noise. He appeared very nervous and scared. I asked for Dr Donna to call me as I didn't want him sedated and didn't understand why experts were unable to handle a family dog as they have many times before. I let them know to open the cage and invite him out and he'd be fine. I didn't get a call from Donna. Instead, I received a long text from Donna explaining that she had told the handler to sedate him and that was their policy. I told her I didn't want him sedated and that I would leave the out-of-town family gathering and come get him ASAP. Donna informed me I should get Max behavioral training (super well-trained family dog) and that she would call me to discuss the issue the following week. It would seem that it's My Pets staff that needs the training. They are supposed to know how to handle dogs while boarding. She also informed me that Max had disrupted hers and her staff's weekend. As it got close to pick Max up, I texted and asked how they would get him out of the cage as I didn't want him sedated. I received no reply. The same handler got him out of the cage and brought him to me (somehow without sedating him). Everyone at the front desk was "unsure" if Max was sedated including Sasha. It seemed there was a lack of transparency and trust as in his returned items was a bottle of pills with 4 pills unaccounted for. I informed them that he is a family member and didn't deserve to be drugged because he had a handler unwilling to be friendly to him and quite frankly was probably scared. I will never return Max to My Pets. He deserves to be treated with care and the handler failed to do so by intimidating him while he was in a vulnerable state. When Max first went to My Pets, they would greet him by name and even bring him a Licky mat with cheese whiz. This isn't even close to how he was treated during this boarding stay. Also, Dr. Donna didn't follow up and call to discuss like both her and her staff said would happen. Very disappointed and do not recommend boarding for your fury family member.

My pet had an UNTIMELY DEATH due to negligent guidance and unnecessary procedures. I should have had the choice for my pet to die of natural causes, not inflicted cruelty by incompetent, disingenuous doctors. Dr. Kidwell ordered an FNA (Fine Needle Procedure) for my 8 yr old dog. He did not want to deal with her on Christmas week so he sent her to Fetch in Brandon. I rushed her there. Had he been a decent veterinarian, he would've known that procedure could possibly kill a pet with the symptoms mine had. This I later found out. She did not survive. Stay with wisdom. Young vets are just guessing. All Creatures on Pipkin Rd in Lakeland took away precious moments I had left with my best friend. Additionally, Images below show terrible stitch work for an unnecessary procedure. She was still bleeding when she came out. They said they had over six surgeries that day performed by one doctor. Rushed, ya think? When I came for removal, they left stitches in her that I actually had to pull out. 0 Transparency. Horrific outcome. I may never trust a vet again.

We booked boarding weeks in advance, signed a written contract, and paid a deposit. The drop‑off time was clearly stated in writing. On the morning of drop‑off, my husband arrived exactly at the contracted time. No one answered the door. While he waited outside, I called, texted, and emailed trying to reach the provider. She did not respond until more than 30 minutes after the scheduled time, and even then, she did not come to the door to begin the service as agreed. When contact was finally made, her tone escalated immediately. She raised her voice, used strong language, and instructed her husband to return the dogs after they had been inside for barely a minute. No intake occurred. No check‑in process happened. No services began in any meaningful or contractual sense. We requested a refund of the $118.83 deposit due to her failure to honor the contract. Instead of responding professionally, the provider sent a series of hostile messages, including false accusations and statements about suing us over a potential review. After the conversation had already ended, she sent another message the following day containing personal threats unrelated to the transaction. The timing and content were completely inappropriate and reinforced our concerns about her conduct. Because the provider refused to perform the service, we had to secure emergency same‑day boarding elsewhere just to proceed with our travel plans. Despite not providing any service, the provider refused to return the deposit. The full sequence of events is documented in writing. This experience was stressful, avoidable, and entirely due to the owner's behavior. For the safety of your pets and your own peace of mind, I strongly recommend choosing a professional, reliable, and accountable boarding provider. This one was not it.
