We have been bringing our almost 2 year old bernedoodle here since his first grooming and couldn't be happier with the service. Our boy is roughly 80 pounds and is high maintenance when it comes to his grooming. He has A-LOT of hair (see pics). Aida handles Teddys grooming needs and energy with ease. She's knowledgeable, fairly priced and always cuts him the way we ask. He's always so happy and handsome when returned to us. I don't know how she does it in under 2 hours! After going to my other groomer for many years I hit a wall in the last few months with covid not being able to get an appointment when I needed one with out waiting for weeks and it became a hassle not being able to call and speak to someone but having to use online to book appointment. After my last appointment at other location my dogs came back not looking groomed and we're still overgrown and the cost was through the roof for two dogs . Fast forward to barks and bubbles couture . Quick easy process a phone call away with an appointment within two days of calling for two dogs at the same time which took less than two hours to groom and cost was great. Both my dogs were groomed to perfection and came out with bows and scarfs for holiday appropriate colors .. does it get any better ? Yes my groomer was so skilled being a groomer since a young age you could see her experience showed in how fast she was able to take my dogs from drab to fab . So happy we went here! I live right in the neighborhood and pass this place all the time so it's very convenient for me. I had always bathed my pups at home but since my one year old "puppy" is now pushing 100 lbs, there is no easy way to do it in the bathtub anymore. The tubs here were easy to work with, your dog can just walk in and they hook up a collar to a stationary lead that is in the tub so your pup is safe while you do your thing. Barks and Bubbles provides everything you need, shampoos (coconut was the winner today)conditioner, towels, dryer, etc. After-bath "cologne" was a nice touch at the end, too. The woman (owner, I think) was very kind and helpful, informed us that on Tuesdays and Thursdays they have 19.99 washes all day (good to know) They also do grooming/nail trimming, etc here if you prefer to drop your dog off and have them do it for you. Woman working there did not want to be bothered with anything, very curt and irritated when asking a question and was more interested in watching her you tube videos and I was the only person there. They dont provide shampoo. They only accept cash which they didnt tell me when I called to make an appointment, and were pricey at $24. The blow drier for the dogs was loud and blew out cold air. Very unprofessional, a dog groomer should accept any dog that's not aggressive, I was told right off the bat that they do not accept Chow Chows because of their temperament. Well you shouldn't be grooming if you can't accept the job for all non aggressive dogs. Ridiculous place! read more

The first few times I've brought my dog to barks and bubbles they were great! They had everything you need to bathe your dog. Shampoo, conditioner, brushes, towels and a blow dryer. They would even give cute little bandanas too. Recently they have gotten rid of the shampoo, conditioner and brushes and was given an attitude when I told them I didn't bring my own products that I didn't know I needed to bring. The customer service was absolutely terrible and I will no longer be bringing my dog here. I would much rather bathe my dog in my own tub and not waste my money bringing him there. Did not feel welcomed there at all. I know there Covid but regardless you should be treated with respect when you walk into to someone's business. I will no longer go here and I will no longer recommend it to people. read more

Two missed opportunities to retain a loyal customer. I called ahead to confirm self service was available. I arrived and proceeded to secure my dog in the tub. Only after the dog was secured did I notice the absence of combs, brushes, soap & shampoo. I was informed that they are no longer available for free or for purchase. In other words bring your own. I've been here a few times since they opened. The first couple of times they were great! Loved the self washing option. However, after visiting more recently, this place went completely down hill. We pulled up and saw a Jeep sitting in front, running with the owner and a young (teen?) in the passenger side. The kid got out and unlocked the door and let us in, the owner sat in the car. We washed our dog, while the kid sat in a chair on his phone. We had some questions about supplies, but got very little response. It was not welcoming in there at all. I have a golden retriever who sheds a lot so I was constantly cleaning out the tub with hair , not once was I told "oh no worries, clean up is part of the fees you pay". The kid completely ignored us, and seemed impatient for us to leave. The owner never stepped foot in the place. We need more options for self grooming in our area because this place is a no go. I'd rather bathe my pup in my own tub bc that's basically what it feels like I paid for. read more

Can not enter a rating. The website posted hours 10-8 p.m. I arrived at 5:45 p.m. to a store front that was locked. Open sign in the window but door is locked. I call, no answer, I check the website, says open. I figured I would give the benefit of the doubt and wait a few minutes. Nothing. The nail place next door was very nice and offered to contact the owner. She says on her way back...waited a half hour in the heat and no return. My dog began to overheat. This place is not close to my house, but after bringing my dog all the way there for a self wash, the door would not open even though the sign was light up and it said it was open! Online it even said it was open. Tried calling and got no answer. Kinda sucks to have driven all the way here. read more

First time I brought my dog here they did a good job, they put a little bandana on her too, but the lady at the front desk had a bit of an attitude, When I came back the second time, she asked if I had an appointment and I said no I didn't know your by appointment only, and she was very rude and said "yea we don't take walk-ins" and I said "I didn't know because last time I brought my dog I walked in" she replied "well that must of been out of courtesy, we don't do walk ins". I left and never came back. She didn't even ask me if I wanted to make an appointment. Maybe I would have if she asked, just not a good attitude. read more

I strive to find family-owned or local businesses for my pet care. I love many of the locally owned pet stores around my home, but this one is just awful. I tried to bring my one-year-old husky in for a self-wash today. The times on the door specified that the shop should have been open from 10am-8pm on Thursdays. The sign on the door was flipped to "Open" and a flashing light sign also proclaimed that Barks & Bubbles Couture was open, but I suppose false advertisement is okay for this establishment? On top of that, the owner wouldn't even answer the phone after several phone calls. When she attempted to call me up, I explained my frustrations, just to have her talk over me and then hang up on me. It's a horrible, failing establishment and I hope it gets shut down soon. There is no reason to lack so much professionalism or to have such horrible customer service. I will not be taking my dogs here, nor will I be using their "mobile" services. read more
