She even took us in early and allowed my fur son to walk around and get familiar with the space before starting--something I truly appreciated. She took the time to ask me exactly what I wanted and also gave helpful suggestions based on her expertise. You can tell she really cares about both the pets and their owners. Her shop smells amazing and is extremely clean, which is so important to me. I also loved that there were no cages--only play pens--creating a calm, safe, and welcoming environment. She was very sweet and all of her staff was as well. Chip immediately took to her so that made me feel extremely comfortable. He's always so nervous getting groomed, but this time, I didn't feel like we had to worry. We didn't give her a whole lot of context about how we wanted him to be groomed and she NAILED it! Wow! She was lighting speed, he was literally done in about 45 minutes (which is terrific bc this little guy gets anxious typically, but I don't feel like he would be there!). We have had our dog for 9 years and he's been groomed by a variety of places. He has NEVER walked out of a place smelling so clean and fresh EVER! Zach, the manager, was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful when scheduling our appointment. He answered all of our questions and made us feel confident that Gracie would be in great hands. When we arrived, Myrna, the owner, took so much time getting to know Gracie Mae, asking about her personality, grooming history, any allergies, medical information, and exactly how we wanted her groomed. You can immediately tell how much she truly loves and cares about every dog that comes through her door. Gracie Mae came out absolutely gorgeous! We tried another daycare and it was WAY too much for him. Too many dogs, not enough people (He's more of a people dog), and he came home filthy. He was seriously traumatized from it. I met with Jessica since her daycare is smaller and has less dogs. From the beginning she has been extremely honest and has shown her understanding and care about dogs. Dogs are her LIFE and it shows. She worked with me and my dog to start and make sure it was a good fit for the dog. The dogs ALWAYS come first. She explained his day and behavior and what I can do to work with him. She was upfront with that she does not do formal training with the dogs, but she's given me soooo much guidance and her patience has made an immense difference in my dog! He RUNS in when he goes! He wags his tail so hard his body bends in half! I ask him if he wants to see Jessica and he RUNS to leave the house! There is someone who is always with the dogs. They are brought out to potty frequently and the place is amazingly clean, inviting, warm and homey feeling. On these hot days it's nice to know the place has the AC blasting for the pups. Jessica has been such a positive influence with my dog and me as an owner. I cannot recommend this place enough!
