This review is bad solely because of the owner. The good part: Clint and JP were honest, thorough, and careful. I appreciated them coming out, communicating everything that needed to be told, and confirming the work prior to doing anything not on the estimate. If they read this, I hope that they know that my frustrations weren't aimed at them at all. They were great and I'd absolutely work with them again (just not with this company though). As far as the owner, she really needs to take an etiquette class because she is far from professional. One of her employees gave me an estimate that was far from accurate for the amount of work that had to be done. JP didn't even touch the limb that needed to be cut down because he knew that the amount I'd pay wouldn't be viable (I personally didn't know this since I'm not an arborist...that's what I contacted her company for because they're professionals, or so I thought -__-). JP got her on the phone to sort out the issue. I think he thought that she would reason with me since she sent someone out who doesn't quote properly. Nope! She basically made it seem like I was trying to get over on them...mind you...did I make the quote? Ummm no. I stayed as calm as I could with her while she keep throwing the blame at me and making it seem like they did nothing wrong. Before she could continue throwing jabs, I decided to put my business hat on and say "Please...stop...how much is the work that was already done? We aren't going to continue this." I'm assuming she will reply to this, unprofessionally like she behaved on the phone, so brace yourself for the show! Would I recommend? NO! Go somewhere else (or try to get JP and Clint if they go to a better company) Will I use them again? Not if they were the last tree company on earth. read more

My husband and I moved from CA to GA just bought our home the end of August in the Lake Haven Community. October a 20" branch landed on the back side of our home in one of the bedrooms thankfully know one is in the room or hurt just added 1 more thing we had to add to our to do list. We where taking our daily walk and met Thomas working on a home close to our neighborhood. My husband told him the issue he showed up gave us a quote to remove the branch and haul it away. We also had him cut some tree's back and clear out some of the foliage on the side and back of the property. Thomas and his team did AMAZING job and will be using his service again for landscaping! I recently was appointed to the HOA Board for our small loft complex and we as just figured out what we needed to work on when we ended up with tree damage during Sally so our trees became our top priority. I knew I had to move quickly as many others had issues as well and finding someone could take awhile. Thomas got back to me immediately to set up a time as we had part of a tree on our roof. He came out that day to do a quote, we had others come out as well but his worked with our budget AND we knew he did other services as well so wanted to give him a try. Our only delay was our property management company as our manager is non-responsive at the best of times, but he worked with me and was patient. He made us feel like we were his top priority. He came out today cleared up the downed part of the tree (we can't remove the whole thing because of the rules in Inman Park) and cleared up all the other trees around the enitre property for less than most (some were going to charge us $600 just for the trailer to call away the branches). I'm glad the trees became our first priority after all as we have a lot of work to do and now he is working on quotes for painting, landscaping, power washing and a few other projects we have. Reached out to Barker's 360 Services regarding my needs and received an immediate response. Explained the job I wanted done and sent photo's to help with describing the job scope. They were on my property the next day looking at the various job aspects. They provided me with an immediate quote, which was awesome, as I figured I would have to wait a few days. Decided to hire them on the spot, and they actually went to work right then and there performing some of the tasks! The rest of their crew and trailer were on another job, but Raven made sure her team came by the very next day to finish the job. Both teams that I encountered on both days of the job were friendly, professional, and worked quickly to get the job done and were so accommodating to my requests. I couldn't have asked for better service! I highly recommend Barker's to anyone looking for great people and great service, and will definitely be utilizing their services in the future.
