I've been taking my dog to Bark and Park for two years now. she's always happy to arrive there... never pulls back on the leash when we get to the door. It was especially helpful when she was a puppy as she would come home and sleep afterward. We don't always get to see our friends on walks, but I know that while she's there she's amongst a lot of dog friends.. We've also boarded her and have had no issues whatsoever with that. Our dog loves Bark N Park and so do we. He is so excited to get inside that he doesn't even look back. We've been boarding with Bark N Park for years; our dogs have always come back relaxed, happy, and clean. It's clear they are A+ in cleanliness and care for the dogs. However, recently our pup needed an emergency surgery when we were away and couldn't be reached. Jennifer took decisive action and continued getting daily updates while we were away, treating our pup like her own. She handled everything incredibly well and, frankly, saved our dog's life. While we've always appreciated the excellence in boarding and daycare which is so consistently delivered, we are sincerely grateful that our furriest family member is still with us, thanks to Bark N Park. read more

Oh little Lucy. Wish we could take you on our trip but you won't fit in the plane. So off you go to doggy day care for boarding. The Bark Park, located around the corner from Lambs Farm, has a terrific indoor space. They separate the dogs according to size -- so the little guys aren't run over by the big guys. Not that my Boston Terrier cares. She's ready to wrestle with whoever is available. The play area is very open and they always have a human on hand. Dogs with social problems aren't welcome -- yes, it may be exclusive that way but I've taught my dog how to act properly. Next week, I'm going to teach her how to drink tea. One thing that I absolutely love about the Bark Park is they have a back yard. So as long as the weather isn't too severe, the dogs get plenty of time outside. Fresh air, running around, smelling each other. It's a dog's heaven. The kennels are well kept and clean. I was able to bring Lucy's bedding at home so she felt more comfortable and I even brought her food from home. My high maintenance girl has a sensitive tummy! Oh. And all of the dogs get naps. At first, I thought this would be a little weird. But can you imagine running around for 12 hours a day without any downtime. I didn't think so. And I wouldn't expect my girl to do so either. The place is convenient for us, when we are able to be scheduled for daycare. They are always too booked for us, or closed/unavailable. I asked specific questions so we can make plans if unable to have daycare for her,but everything is "unsure". We drop off our dog sometimes for the whole day, and get comments like "don't forget we lock them up in their crate at 5pm until pick up". I don't know what that is supposed to mean, like we shouldn't leave her there until closing cuz they feel bad, in which case they shouldn't lock her up until pick up than. When we call, we tend to be upsetting someone because they have a tone or attitude when they speak. 3 stars because our dog does seem to have a good time if we can get booked or if we pick her up before they lock her up. read more

Recommended by our trainer, Bark N Park is the perfect destination for our 10 month old puppy when we need to be able to get things done and not worry about his safety and happiness. Yesterday was his first doggy day care experience (for about 4-5 hours) and he came back home happy AND tired. Perfect! We like the way the facility is set up. Sleeping quarters away from play areas. Separated by walls not just room dividers. Outdoor exercise area is a fenced-in area within a fenced-in area. Tremendous peace of mind for me. Happy outdoor experience for the dog. Wonderful staff. Was just ok but never great. Recently novice staff and too many dogs. Hard to get anyone to talk to you about what's best for your dog - no individualized care and attention as the website claims. Nor are there carefully tailored play groups... It's seems way more about quantity than quality. read more

The staff are knowledgeable and friendly. The play areas are separated by dog size and also by the kind of play the dogs prefer, like very active or calmer dogs. There is always a trained employee with each play group as well. The environment is clean and smells pretty good considering all the dogs. My dog loves going and is sufficiently tired after a day of playing and stimulation! read more

I have been taking my well trained Jack Russell Terrier "Jack" to Bark and Park since he was a puppy- his tail is wagging from the time we pull up and still wagging when we pick him up. I love the fact that they interview and keep up on the medical records of their doggie clients to make sure they are healthy and well behaved. We board Jack on occasion and he always comes back happy. The women who run this boarding facility truly care about Jack and he makes sure that we know! This is not a fancy place, but newly constructed in the last few years - safe, clean and well run. We love and depend on Bark N Park! read more

The whole team has been terrific at helping my shy puppy Fiona socialize...the small groups based on size and temperament are perfect!

Update to my earlier review of 11/25/13. Took our young dog to a specialist today to determine why he is still limping. More x-rays, splint and meds. We are to try this for a week as the doc thinks it is a pulled/torn muscle or tendon. Again, be cautious if you are considering using this service. A puppy with a "sports injury" that could be something we have to watch for rest of his life. Boohoo Would have been easier to clean up whatever mess we might have found if we had left him home alone. We are in for several hundred dollars as well. read more

We can't say "Bark n Park" out loud at my house because our dog gets so excited to go! He loves it, and they love him. The staff is so wonderful... my pup only goes a few times a year for extended stays, but the staff greets him like they're old friends! I like the separate rooms for small and large dogs, and the rest time built into every day. Happy to have a place like this for my dog. read more

We have been taking our two dogs to Bark n' Park for almost 6 years. They came highly recommended to us. We are very careful when leaving them in the care of others since our dogs are an extremely important part of our family. We have had nothing but positive experiences. They treat our dogs like their own. We just say Bark and Park at home and the dogs get so excited. When they arrive, they can't wait to get in and play. They are full of affection for the staff when they leave at the end of the day, giving kisses while their leashes are put on. I have never worried about leaving my dogs in their care. They have everything under control. They are very careful to place dogs in the right group; puppies, small dogs, big dogs, etc. They notice personality differences and place accordingly as well. Safety is very important to them. We always get an update, even if one of our dogs just seems a bit down during the day. Glad we found them! read more
