I normally work from home, but I do have to travel a few times a month for work. When I do have to travel, I don't want the dogs to be stuck in the house all day without being let out to relieve themselves or get some fresh air, so I have someone from Candy's (often Candy herself) come to my house a couple of times during the day for nice pet visits. Candy often sends me pictures of the dogs while she is there via text messaging, and I know for a fact that she actually gets on the floor with them to give them love and attention because I can tell from the angle on the pictures. I'm extremely picky about the care of my pets, probably to the point of obsession, but I really trust Candy's team to take great care of my "kids" when I can't.

I received a call the day after Christmas, that my dog was howling in pain and couldn't get up. I…read moreasked if they could get him to a vet and they said no, I had to pick him up. When arrived they wanted to use ropes to lift him with due to so badly soiled. So we supplied our own blanket and carried him to car. He was in obvious pain, soiled, bleeding from mouth. He was immediately taken to animal hospital and advised had to be put down for fractured back and kidney issues. When asked for an explanation Randa immediately sent a refund saying upon my request, which was just for explanation. When followed up was told I can't sue because I signed a waiver, that it was my fault for boarding an older dog and not boarded before. I never made any accusations or asked for anything but an explanation. I'm so devastated I left my pet/family member in their care.
