Sadly, he passed yesterday, but he had a great life, and part of that was certainly him looking forward to seeing Veronica each weekday. Should I get another dog, I will absolutely be asking her to take care of him during the week. He loved her, she loved him, and I've never had a better dog walker than Veronica. Thank you again, Veronica.

Peggy leaves notes after every visit summarizing everything that happened, which is just a nice service to provide. It makes you feel like you didn't miss out on anything! Thanks Peggy! 09/12/2011 *update 04/25/2012* I have been using Peggy and RoseMary to walk Maia several times a week, and I couldn't be happier. Maia loves getting the visits during the day, and I love getting the notes saying how she's doing. I would still very highly recommend them to anyone!

My husband and I go on trips often, but I have two dogs, and one of them that we used to have when we first started using AWFAS always got anxious if he was away from home... so a kennel or even being watched at someone else's house was never an option for us. So to have a dog sitter to watch our dogs overnight in the comfort of OUR own home was exactly what we needed. But not only are we entrusting them to watch our boys, we are also entrusting them to look after our house- and AWFAS has never failed in making us feel like our home and family are in good hands when we are away. Even more importantly, Hilary, Jackie & Carmen have always looked after our dogs like they were their own. When one of my dogs was very sick (and eventually passed away), he was in such great hands when we had to leave for a few days for a trip out of the country. and no matter what, they always keep me up-to-date with many texts, pictures and video so I can have peace of mind when we're not home. Even more recently, we were on vacation for 2 whole weeks - Hilary did whatever she could to ensure that my boy was well taken care of and that he didn't get lonely! I'm pretty sure he had more fun with her those 2 weeks, than he has ever had with us (you'd understand if you met him!) =\

Having just moved into the area, we had no one to ask, so we found Dependable Pet Sitters online. Mary Jo, the owner, arrived the next day and met Gracie. We had a good talk, and she agreed to take Gracie on. It's been 5 months now and we are over the hill happy ! Mary Jo has some extraordinary ladies working with her, Debbie, Sue, Karen, and Mary Jo take turns loving on Gracie. They always show up on time and take great care of her. After her walk and tummy rubs, they send us photos, which makes us feel emotionally connected to Gracie even when we're not there. Mary Jo uses a great, simple App, and I get notices on my phone. I can not say enough good things about everyone at Dependable Pet Sitters. Look no further if you need a loving group of people for your furry loved one.

In addition to providing excellent care and following our instructions very well, she keeps us informed by email and with frequent photos. She is always bringing toys for them to play with and has helped us out with additional minor services well beyond pet sitting, such as bringing in packages, dealing with the alarm system, etc. We found Mary Jo through an Internet Search and met with her prior to our first engagement. She is delightful, and we trust her explicitly. She enjoys playing with the boys, and always leaves us a nice note, often along with treats, toys etc. I would recommend her without hesitation for any of your pet sitting needs. Additionally, she is one of the most affordable and reasonable pet sitters we have ever used.

We spoke to a couple, and nearly lost it when one of them explained that since she was such a sweet dog he thought she would ONLY need the medium sized prongs on her collar during his 2 week onsite boot camp. Who in the world would use a pronged collar on a goldendoodle, especially just because they're being too friendly ??? Anyhow, someone suggested Simply Animal Behavior, so we set up an initial consultation. WOW !! Not only did our dog notably change in that half hour, but we learned an incredible amount of how dogs process information. Sara also changed our way of thinking, from trying to get our dog to obey, to guiding our dog into making her own good choices so obedience isn't the issue. All this via POSITIVE reinforcement. Sara is patient, informative, not condescending toward either the owner or the dog, and provides a ton of information and resources without nickel and diming for every piece of paper she hands out. Each time we go for a class or play time, we come back wiser, and our dog comes back behaving better. I highly recommend Sara and Simply Animal Behavior to anyone who wants to improve or enhance their pet's behavior.

I had a Zoom session with her and follow her on social media and she's helped me so much with my puppy who was biting me (hard!) during playtime and walks and constantly eating gross stuff off the ground. Highly recommend!
