Of her exact breed and genetic percentages, I am not certain, but I am certain that she is 100% love. Her name is Tashi, which means "Good Fortune" in a Buddhist dialect of Japanese, and she came into my life at the perfect time. So of course I baby her and do my best to love her the way she loves me. That being said, I definitely needed ti take her to a great Groomer I knew about Ruff Cuts because it's about a mile from my house and I pass it whenever I do my massive hill jog up Bridgetown road. When I called to make an appointment, they were booked about 5 weeks out, which alone told me that they must be running a good operation. Must say I was very pleased with not only the cut but the kind approach to a new dog client. Brittany is very professional and the doodle cut was excellent (I choose not to have the traditional doodle poofy cut, and lean more for the golden look, which other grooming salons did not take to, and would argue with me on what they wanted to do.) My kids finally convinced me to get a dog, and, of course, I love him like crazy now. But…read moresometimes, you really can't take a 45 pound animal with you everywhere you go. For those times, I rely on Happy Paws. I can tell they love what they do, because they are always cheerful whenever we interact: drop-off, pickup, over the phone. They know my dog by name and are always happy to play with him for a moment when he arrives, and give him a couple treats when he has to leave, too. Thy require all dogs to have a temperament test of a few hours before they're allowed to stay, in addition to up-to-date vet records. This really gave me peace of mind to know that all the dogs there have been screened and are safe to be around my most precious puppy. Once that test is done, you can drop off your dog for daycare anytime during business hours; no appointment needed. This flexibility has proven to be a lifesaver for me, and definitely keeps me coming back. They also offer boarding and grooming services, but I have not tried those yet. Well, except nail trimming, because I don't need that headache! They are great! Your doggo will love them!
