Usually I would have given them at least a three . But I went in yesterday in the morning. one tub was out of order which I know things happen, but then when I finally got to use a tub the middle one didn't soap right and the lady in the first tub said that they said something to the front and they just gave them a bottle of shampoo to use. Okkkkk... So she nicely let me use the bottle . When we finished and paid they not only raised their rate but charged us full price after their tubs weren't working properly. I would have just bathed my pups at home . I bring them here because it's easy and the dogs get really dry. Gotta say I'm going to try a mobile service or look elsewhere. Will not return . read more

Ken and Robin are so generous and supportive in their communities. They are passionate and professional in all of their stores. The employees are very polite and knowledgeable. We take our three little guys to see Crystal. Bailey our 14 year old Shih Tzu, Bentley our 4 year old Pomapoo and Gussy our 10 year old 4 pound Yorkie. Bentley is a rescue from a high kill shelter in LA and does not trust anyone. Crystal is so patient with him, even when he's being a drama queen, and as much as he hates to be groomed he still has kisses for her. We've had many groomers over the years and even one's that come to your home. Crystal is by far the best groomer we have ever had. You can tell she really loves our boys. We live close to the Rocklin store and when Crystal was not available in Rocklin we drove to the El Dorado Hills store to see her. We travel a lot and we are always getting compliments on the boys haircuts. Without hesitation we refer anyone who asks to go see Crystal. Ken and Robin have two beautiful stores and they both truly love animals; which is obvious by the people they hire,the products they carry and the precious rescues they sometimes have in their stores. I have had my dogs groomed in Carmichael for years. I decided since I moved to Placer County that I wanted to find some place closer. Just checked this store out yesterday all 5 of us (mom, dad, 2 sons and Siberian husky), love it! The staff is very nice, the store is clean and well organized, they carry lots of good products, cute collars and leashes. We washed our Husky there for the first time and it was so convenient. Nature's variety was there doing a tasting bar for dogs, so cool. VIP van was there as well doing microchips and vaccines. This is our new favorite pet stores. read more

Wow! What a great store! The staff surprises me every time with their great personalities, their desire to help, and their in depth knowledge of pet products and nutrition. Not to mention, they know their regulars like me by name! And my dogs' names too! Their prices are just as good as anywhere else nearby if not LOWER! It's so great to have a store where I can get great food for my dogs, wash my lab, have my shih tzu groomed, and have a few laughs and great conversations with the staff all in the same experience if I wanted. great customer service! they treat my dog so nicely and she isn't terrified or scared when she gets groomed or her nails cut like she does at petsmart or petco. Great prices on toys that are double the price at other stores. Clean environment. Sells items that are hard to find other places. hey do have two shop cats that are very well behaved and m dog was very comfortable in the store in general. This is the best grooming place to bring your cherished pets. Rachel does my dog "bandit" she does such a fabulous job. He is done exactly as I request every time! He never ever comes home over stressed like he did at other grooming places. Everyone here is wonderfully friendly and extremely helpful. I always take both my Shi Tzus to be groomed here. We always ask for Emily. She has a real compassion for animals and does a fantastic job. My sister brought her dog over from a competitor and has stayed with Emily. They also have a bathing station if you want to bath your own pets, and the cost is super reasonable. Plus they have a very good selection of products if you are needing food or supplies. read more
