I've been bringing my cat to Rocklin Pet Spa since 2023 and had consistently good experiences until the past year, when she's come home with two unexplained injuries. The first being bloody scabs on her face last July. I spoke with the owner, and while we couldn't agree on the cause, the scabs healed and I gave them the benefit of the doubt. It felt like an isolated incident, and they seemed genuinely interested in making sure she was okay. The second incident happened more recently and is harder to set aside. After her appointment, her groomer pointed out a large patch of missing fur on her back. I was asked whether she'd had recent flea treatment or vaccinations, and the answer to both was no, with her last vaccines being eight months ago. I didn't want to jump to conclusions since I was looking at her while she was in her carrier, so I waited until I got home so I could properly assess how visible it was once she was up and moving about. I got home and confirmed that the patch was significant and clearly visible. I would've 1000% noticed something like this. I was with my cat the entire morning. She was sitting on my lap and I was petting her back just 30 minutes before her appointment; it would've been hard to not notice such a significant amount of fur missing as it would've been right in my face and I'm the type to notice if this cat has so much as a booger in her nose. I called back and spoke to her groomer who insisted they didn't remember anything happening during her appointment that could've caused this but they also said that they didn't notice the very noticeable missing fur until near the end of the appointment. I don't know what to make of that, but I am positive that my cat did not arrive this way. The saving grace is that my cat didn't seem to be in any pain and fur grows back (although I'm sure that spot on her back must have been really sore). This was an extremely upsetting experience as my cat is so sweet (even the groomer said she never gives them any trouble) and I only want her taken care of. Let me be clear: I don't believe anyone set out to harm her, but I can't overlook this careless incident and I just don't feel comfortable taking my cat here anymore unfortunately. read more

We hold Rocklin Pet Spa in the highest regard. I cannot speak highly enough about Susie and her staff. My dog Parker is typically anxious during grooming sessions, yet the team consistently demonstrates exceptional kindness and patience, which allows him to relax almost immediately. They dedicate time to understanding my dog's individual needs and ensure his comfort throughout the process. As a result, his coat is healthier than ever, his grooming is consistently excellent, and he exhibits a joyful demeanor upon pickup. It is rare to find individuals who exhibit such genuine care. They do more than groom my dog; they provide him with comfort, relaxation, and happiness. I am sincerely grateful for the compassionate care they consistently offer. read more

My puppy is still unable to eat and walk after the bad cut he got 5 days ago from the groomer at Rocklin Pet Spa. He's on Gabapantine given to us from the Vet. It has been a very stressful experience for Milo and us. We had to cancel our trip as the vet wanted Milo to be supervised. Also this in response to the business owner Susan... Altho we do sign waiver, we expect the groomer to inform us if any cuts and wounds have occurred during the grooming sessions. Also your front desk lady accused me of bringing my pet with preexisting cuts and wounds. She was rude to not only to me but she even yelled at other dogs barking. Very poor front desk staff. read more

Rocklin Pet is fabulous. Elijah was very kind, gentle and competent with Mac, our Great Pyrenees, Golden Retriever, St Bernard Mix. He had never been groomed before, so Mac quite matted with a lot of thick fur under growth. Elijah spent 2 hours getting Mac all cleaned up and he looks beautiful. We will be bringing Pepper, our Border Collie, Aussie, Huskey mix in next week for her first grooming. And we will be coming back to Rocklin Pet Spot exclusively for our dogs grooming needs. read more

Absolutely wonderful!! The owner is quick to respond and works to find openings that meet my needs. We have taken our dogs to other groomers but none have had the eye that this groomer has. She is an artist and my dog finally looks how we want him to look!! They are pleasant, professional, and experts. read more

Avoid Rocklin Pet Spa if you care at all about your dog's coat or how you're treated as a customer. The staff is shockingly rude and completely unwilling to do the actual work that comes with grooming doodles. Instead of putting in any effort to brush out even minor, loose mats, they jump straight to shaving. It honestly feels like they take the easiest, laziest route possible. What really pushed this over the edge was their attitude. When we asked them to please try to avoid shaving and work through a few small tangles, their response was basically "then come pick up your dog." No flexibility, no professionalism, just dismissive and unhelpful. Doodle owners know these coats take time and care--that's literally what you're paying for. This place clearly has no interest in doing that. If your dog isn't perfectly mat-free, expect zero effort and a shaved dog. Save yourself the frustration and go somewhere that actually cares. read more

they groomed my dog and did a great job. Very pleased with their grooming, they are kind and care a lot about the dogs.

If only I had discovered this business sooner! Our groomer of several years closed her shop and I hadn't found a groomer who I liked as much since. RPS is in a good location, staff members are helpful and knowledgeable. Jeremiah listened as I explained Will's idiosyncrasies and did a wonderful full groom. Most importantly, my Willy was happy there. , read more

When I walk in with my Boxer and my Boston, they are immediately greeted with excitement and love like "There's my favorite boys!" It's so sweet, and I know it keeps their nerves calm since they can feel it's a safe and happy place to be. The groomer always does a wonderful job, and shows me if anything is different like when my Boxer's eyes started getting goopy and runny, so I know to start looking for a product to help that. The whole staff is just extremely kind, and they seem to love what they're doing. They're usually in pretty high demand, but if you can manage to get on the schedule, I very, very highly recommend them 100%. read more

We've had Julia as our groomer for quite awhile and we can't say enough positive things about her services. Our poodle and our Aussie both present their own challenges and Julia is patient and loving, in addition to doing a great job with their cut and styling. 5 stars from us! read more

Julia did another GREAT job with Marcie! Thank you so much! And thanks again for your recommendation of brush/comb!

We have two dogs. One is a poodle and the other is an Australian Labradoodle. Kelsey did such a fantastic job on both of them. They look like little show dogs! She really takes her time and does and excellent job with the grooming. She also thoroughly explains everthing. The pricing is fair and we will for sure be back! read more

This grooming business is actually owned by Susie who has been grooming my cavalier king Charles spaniel Rosie since she was a puppy. She initially opened up her 1st business in Lincoln and we had been going to her Lincoln shop for yrs. Her shop in Lincoln is called Grooming by Susie. She does an excellent job and uses the best products on your pup. She suggested I come to this newly opened shop of hers in Rocklin since it's closer to me in Roseville. I've come here a couple of times and the groomer has been Whitney and she has done a great job. They also have Saturday appointments available if you schedule/request one which, is what I do. Coming on a wk day with work would be impossible. They use the best products that leave your pup feeling very soft, clean, and beautiful. They have a scheduling system that texts you reminders or to confirm which, is nice. This shop has the same quality of Susie's other business in Lincoln, I highly recommend this location just as much as her original one. They also offer a non-anesthesia deep dental cleaning for pups certain months out of the yr on a wk day only. The lady who does the deep dental cleanings without anesthesia comes on a certain wk day to this location to offer her services, you can make an appointment through the groomers at this location. read more

The service was HORRIBLE, it led to my dog going bald i will never be going back DO NOT GO HERE.

I can't sing the praises enough of Kelsey at Rocklin Pet Spa. She grooms our little pomeranian who is quite timid but very wiggly, older, and not very fond of being groomed. Kelsey keeps her matt and tangle free, her coat silky smooth, and her little features framed perfectly. My dog loves to go headfirst into any pile of weeds that we pull and has a nasty habit of getting burrs and foxtails stick in her coat. That is how we know it is time to go see Ms Kelsey at the pet spa. She is great with dogs of all sizes and has a very gentle touch, taming the most stubborn of pets for grooming :) read more

They do a great job on my Labradoodles would recommend highly. Both dogs seem to be very comfortable with the process.

We love Rocklin Pet Spa! They are very responsive on the phone and text to confirm your appointment. They also text as they are finishing up with your pet. Great trims and baths for our Golden Doodle! read more

horrible! do not ever bring your pet here. they mistreated my dog and were very rude.

We brought our golden retriever in for a bath and trim for summer time. Kelsey did exactly what we talked about and our dog looks GREAT! He smells so clean, and is so soft. Perhaps the best part is they don't keep your dog all day like other groomers do, our pup was only there an hour and 15 minutes. We will definitely come here again! read more

The ladies here are so friendly and professional. You can tell they all love animals. And I have a strange looking cat who thinks she is a dog, and they just loved on her. Great service! read more

I was very scared because my cat had a lot of mats on her stomach and every time we tried to get rid of them she would get upset. I took her here and they did an amazing job. She did not only look so much better but she also was very happy. This place exceeded all my needs and the staff were just wonderful. I am very grateful for this place and will be returning with my other cats. read more
