He was given a bath at my request. I think he even had his nails trimmed. When I picked him up, he seemed very happy. You can see the joy in my dog as we round the corner and the pure excitement when I park! Everyone is so kind and truly loves working with our pets!! The staff throws birthday parties, holiday celebrations, photo ops, and clubs; what more could you really ask for?! And the best part is they tell you about your dogs day, who their best friends are, if they played hard, if they met new people, it's like real daycare . The biggest reason I cannot recommend them enough is everyday when I pick up my dog she can't hardly make it out of the parking lot before passing out. Took my dog in Monday morning 9/16.. my dog hurt her back the other day and it's hard for me to clean her by myself. Everyone working this day was fantastic. They assured me she was in good hands, and indeed she was. The lady answering the phone was great, the 3 ladies working were fantastic.. I dropped her off and got Remi within an hour. Cisco always enjoys and gets excited for day boarding at Bark Ave and is always wore out when I pick him up. Friendly and knowledgeable staff always take great care of him! I have been using Bark Avenue for the past 5 years in Omaha to lodge and entertain Rex and now Lokai, the Siberian Husky. It was Lokai's first time at this dog hotel. He casually strolled in and made himself at home by going to the back area where the employees are at and grabbing someone's chew toy in his mouth and reclined in the dog bed on the floor. That was a great sign that he wasn't afraid of new places and I could leave him here for a few days while out of town for the weekend. Rex was a group leader at this place before he passed. His last visit was just 3 months before his illness and the employee told me Rex stopped 2 dogs from fighting during a play time period. He then led a group exercise session with other dogs by himself which was witnessed by the employee who reported this story to me.....amazing to my ears but not really surprised since Rex also facilitated group outdoor meetings by standing on the picnic table while other dogs listened to his talks at the last resort in Sioux Falls. The only reason I know this is because I saw pictures of this taken by staff members who remarked about this phenomenon. The Bark Avenue facility and staff are very caring and treat all animals as their own. There is no need to look for another dog hotel when you have this facility in town. read more

We love this place for day care and boarding. Brody is happy, well- cared for and spoiled while there. The staff is very attentive and know their pets well. I trust them to look out for him. They are fun and creative by doing pictures for Halloween for example. The manager is awesome and she is on top of each dog there. She trains her staff well. Just a great place. My dog gets his nails clipped and they are good. He doesn't need grooming but I see the dogs after grooming and they look wonderful. Bark Avenue is top notched!! read more

I recently boarded my pup, Scout, with Bark Avenue for a long weekend and I'm very impressed! The facility is super clean and the staff is wonderful! This was the first time I've boarded Scout, so it was very important to book with a place that was caring and experienced. Bark Ave really delivered. Scout is very nervous in new places and around new people. They recommended bringing her in for a half day of daycare to get acclimated - which I did and was a big help! I love that they have cameras and livestream so you can keep an eye on your pups in the playrooms! Scout was a little cautious the first day of her stay, but quickly warmed up to the staff and played with the other dogs during daycare. Again, very happy with Bark Ave! Pick up day is always the happiest for sure. Our Max and Bamboo were so happy to see us. They kept the empty dog food bags for us so that we know "they ate up"! Bamboo weighted exactly the same the day before we sent him here, he is a puppy, only 6 months old, he eats everything and he is hyper-energetic, but Max lost one pound in 10 days, for a 5-year-old Miniature Dachshund, and as his mommy, I awwed a bit, but I wasn't surprised, because Max is "socially awkward". They prepared our dogs' personal belongings ahead of time, so the check out was pretty quick. Although, I was hoping I could just have 2 minutes to talk to anyone about, you know like, how were my babies doing, did they cause any troubles, etc. They have a daycare webcam that you can check to see how your dogs are playing with other dogs which is very considerate. The application procedure in the beginning was not complicated at all, fill out forms and offer updated vaccination records, that's it. One very important thing that I have to mention at last -- after we finished check in at the front desk, I was talking real fast and trying to give all the female staff some final "heads up", I was all choked up and my husband was all tearing up... I asked, "Do you think we can still stay for a while and walk them to their room, or do we have to stop right here?", one of the ladies said, "It's better that we take them away and you see them off, so that it's them leaving you, not you leaving them. They're having a vacation. You're having a vacation. Don't worry. They're gonna have fun, and you too." I needed a place to board my dog while i was visting from out of town so I called Bark Avenue to arrange a time to board my dog. I told the staff over the phone the time i was planning on dropping my dog off and sent my dogs shot records before hand. After driving 6 hours to drop off my dog at the time I discussed with the staff member the place was all locked up so i rang the buzzer outside the building. After waiting 30 minutes nobody came to the door. So i was forced to find somewere else to board my dog last minute so i can attend my family reunion. I called Bark Avenues main office and never received a call back. I was really shocked about the poor professionalism this buisness displayed. read more

This place is the best! I take my 2-year-old cockapoo, Crosby, to daycare every Wednesday. He is so excited when I drop him off and it's reassuring that all the staff know his name! Our dog loves going to daycare here. He started off here as a puppy and has loved it ever since. The great thing about daycare is that he gets to play and socialize with other dogs. The staff is personable and friendly. Michelle does a great job. One aspect about daycare that we love is that he gets a lot of exercise. By the time we get him home he is exhausted and ready for bed. This is especially helpful in the winter months when we aren't able to walk him as much. I like that you can purchase multiple visits at a discount. This helps to keep the price down some. Bark Ave is a wonderful business with an extraordinary staff. We have sent our sharpei there for 2 years - our kids call Bark Ave "Dog Friend Store" and whenever our dog hears those words she runs out the door in excitement. As soon as we pull into the parking lot she totally forgets us and all she wants to do is spend her day with all of the doggy friends and the fun, caring staff. She has a great time and Bark Ave often posts pictures of her on top of the slide or playing with her buddies.
