the self area wasnt cleaned and I had to look around with no one there to find things to use. The prices on line and what I paid was double. I am glad I got this all done and the hair is there, but will look at other places that fit our needs better. There is a note that shares clean up after done. I guess the people before me didnt do so. Also, be careful as the pet leash in the tub would not stay on the wall. Thankful my pup is willing to stay in the tub as it was not useful. We use the self pet wash and it's wonderful. You can pay to use the pet wash alone or pay $25 to have their nails clipped and use the wash. Our old lady is 15 years old and it's hard to take her to the groomer. We brought her here and within 30 minutes we were done. I also love that they supply shampoo, conditioner, towels, blow dryers, ear, and tear wipes, and they are super friendly. If I could leave zero stars I would. Took my dog in for the first time and when I got her home (in Millard), I noticed one of her ears was 2.5" shorter than the other and they had shaved her stomach and nipped one of her nipples. Now she has an infection and has to go to the vet. Very disappointed. $85 for a half groom. Warning only one ear gets cut with a half groom. read more

Great daycare! Over the last several years, we've used Christys for doggy daycare and her store is fantastic. We drop our dog off in the morning on the way to work and pick her up on the way home and she is so tired from running around all day with the other doggos. Christy and her staff has been great watching the dogs during the day and if we need a nail trim, she is able to accommodate. We never used her for the grooming since our dog doesn't need it (except for nail trim) but I highly recommend her for your doggy daycare needs. read more

I was told I would be called when my dog would be done with her grooming, then I proceeded to ask what time she would be done. She said 3 hours from now. Considering my dog is a mini yorkie, I was a little shocked but I said okay. I walked in a little before 3 hours was up and the whole place was cleaned, only one staff member in there and there was 4 dogs waiting in kennels. I then asked what time my dog got done and she said "not too long ago, I was about to call everyone." I didn't necessarily believe her.. Sadly, my dog's groom was very choppy and I even had to take some scissors to even it out. read more

After taking my Boxer to the Petsmart groomers in Shadow Lake, and being VERRY displeased with the work done, and their rude associates with horrible customer service, I was on the hunt for a new groomer. And in comes Christy's. I've been taking my dog to her for months now. I am always greeted, she always comes out from behind the corner and greets my dog by name and they get so happy to see each other. Its very sweet and all of her staff is very kind. My dog always comes back out so soft and clean, smooth nails and an adorable new bandana.. The front of the shop is full of goodies and cute new collars and other accessories. I have taken both of my dogs (Bichon and Lhasa) to Pampered Pet Spa. I have been extremely happy each and every time. My Bichon is 10 years old, so I have been to a lot of different groomers during his life and have been the most satisfied with the results from this groomer. Prices are reasonable and I know that my dogs will be well taken care of and look great when I return to pick them up! We have been faithful customers for almost a year now. I called earlier today to set up an appointment for my dog.. The woman that answered the phone was very rude. I said I would like to set up a time to get my dog groomed, and she replied with " Well yeah.. you called us" in a rude tone. She then said "April 30th would work" and I asked is that the earliest time you can get me in and she responds with " That's why I said April 30th".. again with the rude tone. Not very professional or courteous to treat a potential customer like that. This being the first dog Ive owned, it has all been a brand new experience for me. I have taken my dog here for a few years... She is 17 years old. I am sad to say I was asked not to bring my dog back due to her age and extra care required to groom my dog. So are dog groomers not taught the skills required to groom dogs with special needs? Due to my dogs age she does have bad hips and is not able to stand for long periods of time, so this required more than one person to groom her. Instead of asking me not to bring her back maybe they could have said we will charge you more, which I would have been happy to pay. Now if my dog had bit or injured someone i would have totally understood. read more
