I've gone here on dates, brought new friends to shop, like jeez I literally have made memories at this place. This isn't Goodwill. It's a little grimey and messy. I even heard one person claim to find a McDonald's cheeseburger in a winter coat pocket. (This has not been a verified story.) But it is CHEAP. Especially if you plan around their daily 50% discounts or their weekend 50% off everything. And that's what you come for, the deals and the hidden treasure!! I've also never once, in the years I've been shopping here, had a bad experience with an employee. They're all very friendly. The unit was so overheated I couldn't even touch it -- a clear fire hazard. I called the store to return this defective and unsafe item, and the request was denied due to "policy." That is unacceptable. A nonprofit that pays its top eight executives nearly $4,000,000 according to public filings should not be refusing returns on hazardous merchandise. I will no longer shop at this Goodwill location. I will take my business to the Habitat for Humanity ReStore next door, where items are tested, clearly labeled, and the store policy actually stands behind what they sell. Better selection, better integrity, and far better customer treatment than what I experienced here.
