They're around if you need them and will also offer to show you the piece you're looking at (instead of waiting around for you to ask). They have their jewelry production right in the back and offer to change a length/clasp/gemstone. I found an amazing vintage watch fob converted into a bracelet, but I didn't care for the chain. The gals offered me a few different vintage chain options and edited the piece on the spot! She was patient when it didn't fit and kindly added an extra link to the newly edited piece. That extra mile is what makes any business stand out from the rest, and I very much appreciated it! There were 4 different gals working and each of them were a part of my store experience. I love that vibe - a nice cross between slumber party vibe, girly pop vibe and artsy vibe. Most of their pieces are sterling silver or brass, but they have a handful of pieces in 14k and gold fill. I got a mixture of both! Their sweet spot price point is "affordable" while some pieces are definitely spendy. I've got my eye on a vintage wedding band for $3k. Also absolutely loved the vibe of the store. I went to visit the new location today - it's beautiful don't get me wrong, but totally different vibe. I wouldn't even know I was in the same store. Inventory was much more limited, and most of it high end, out of my price range and not the every day pieces that I loved so much. I had admired the higher end custom pieces at the old location, but sad that they are now the primary inventory at the new store. I really hope with time they will have more variety and bring a bit of the old vibe back.

Offerings range from very reasonably priced seed beads to higher end stuff like Swarovski crystals and sterling silver. Pretty much everything in between is well represented - semi precious beads, strands, accent and focal beads and plenty of tools. I find the staff here is really helpful too - I was looking for a specific chain style and while they didn't stock it, they were able to guide me to plenty of alternates.

There's a odd mix of things here, from handbags and key-chains and jewelry, to candles, tableware and specialty foods. Oddly enough, I really liked this store, even as I recognized I'd have no place suitable for displaying any of what it carried. My decorating style isn't quite so formal. I was really struck by how well coordinated things were, the flow of the store encouraged me to keep browsing and led me from one surprise to another. The little dogs made of beads were adorable and as close as I came to thinking "maybe." The manager was as nice as could be and tried valiantly to get me to buy something, even offering suggestions for the bottled artichoke relish. And as tempting as it all was - I didn't want to pack it. So, I left empty-handed. Still, I'd stop here again simply because I can enjoy looking at things more knowing I don't have to clean it, dust it, or figure out where to put it.
