This week, I found a transistor radio made in 1988, that was in an unopen package! Works great! I also found a computer speaker system, I use this with one of my phones, headphone connection, to the speakers, and listen to sounds of wind, rain, and other from You Tube. Great place! Whenever I visit somewhere I always like to check out the thrift shops in the area…read more I saw this was one of the best in the area on Tik Tok, so I decided to check it out. It is pretty big, and has some cool t-shirts. Personally, I didn't love a lot of the clothes, but I found some cool t-shirts. They had some nice antiques and knick knacks and my grandma was shocked that she used to own a lot of them before. We didn't talk to the workers, but overall as a thrifter I have been to better ones.

Sure, it's not priced like your local Goodwill (who btw are greedy mf's) but this place is so curated and you can tell each item was specifically chosen for your nostalgic pleasure! The only drawback is that I am still fat 6 months postpartum so I don't fit into any of their women clothes especially since back in the day, everything was tinier. I did score a grandpa looking windbreaker in the men section which made my chubby ass happy. My kid found so many gems but I had to rail him in or else he'll spend his whole college tuition. I wish I had caught the name of the man who rang us up, he was pretty rad and extra points for thinking my kid was my brother. I am definitely motivated to lose weight now but until then, I'll still come back and bring my broke bff to shop.

I dug around for about an hour and half and left with arms full of goodies at a great deal. It's old school here and that's my fav way for a thrift shop to be . I loved that a small bargain happened , it was fun . Most places won't do that anymore . They had a dollar bin out front with some solid pieces . The guy who owns the store is super mellow and chill, he is learning guitar so bring him some stuff to jam on and go say hello, it will be a lot of fun I promise !

The jeans and pants section is also fairly ok. Sometimes you can find some gems. The only thing that stinks is how the items are priced some weeks ESPECIALLY electronics. Some of the old DVD/CD players are listed at insane prices. I saw a 90s Pioneer 5 disc player without wires and controller with some significant scratches priced at 89.99! Don't know where that pricing came from but that's just ridiculous. Other than that it's a cool store to shop at every once in a while. The younger cashiers in the afternoons are very helpful.

After all of the trouble filling out this form that the scan pops up for you after your donation, it doesn't translate "work" at the register when you go to buy something. Every dang time! They scan the code that is emailed to you and are constantly bewildered when it doesn't work. Hmmm... I used the coupon that was sent to me the same day of my donation. What I'm getting at is that you don't have to even donate anything and go through the process. Just go to the register and say you donated and they will put in a student discount or whatever for 10%. Very disappointing Goodwill really get your fucking act together.
