I came in to purchase some work boots with a budget of $100-$130, and one of the newer employees Shawna was super nice and helpful. I was having trouble finding a boot that would fit my needs that was within budget and still available in my size, and she suggested a pair of red wing Irish setters. They were still out of my price range, but there was a sale occurring in a few days that would drop the price of the boots to under $100 and she kindly offered to set them aside for me so I could purchase them then. I love the boots. They're everything I needed and more and I really appreciate Shawna and her wonderful attitude and helpful customer service skills. read more

I'm older and set in my ways. A store should make ya want to return again and again. How do you do that? Go to this BareBones and you'll know imediately!!!! Customer service. Yep, it still exists. These foljs have it in spades. AWESOME STORE read more

The Rancho store is the best in the chain! I had called 2 other Barebones stores to locate a certain model of hard hat. They were brief, didn't seem interested in checking their stock and blew me off pretty much. Then I called the Rancho store and talked to Shawna. She was amazing! She thoroughly looked through their stock and found one at a different store. She told me that she could have it delivered to her store that afternoon for pick up. She was on it! Later I walked into the store and Shawna had the hat waiting for me as well as educated me about it and helped me buy a gift certificate as well. You see, this hat was a very important gift for a young man who had graduated from his construction schooling and was with the organization Academy Stay. They help and house former foster kids who age out of the system. So this hard hat meant an awful lot to this kid. Shawna is an outstanding employee, and really made this kid's Day! Everyone I've dealt with that this store has been extremely courteous and very helpful. I now direct anyone that needs work wear to go to the Rancho Cordova Barebones store. They are top notch! read more

I went in to pick up boots, pants and a shirt for a job I'm testing for and Shawna was so helpful and positive. She showed me the type of boots and clothes needed for the specific field I'm testing for and helped me pick everything out. She had a lot of helpful info and was eager to help me. It made it really nice going in not knowing what I needed and her helping me with a great attitude. People like Shawna really make company's great. Thank you Shawna read more

I went to this store in search of some carhartt work pants and Blaize was by far the most helpful person I've ever encountered. She helped me understand where I was going wrong with my search and that it had to due with the different serial numbers. She was very helpful and she has incredible customer service. I will definitely be coming back to this location just to see her and deal with her. read more

Went to buy my husband's work boots and the lady was super helpful! They had a great black Friday deal on a style he liked but none in his size. She tried to find them at other locations but no luck. Then she told me they could price match and that his first choice in boots was on sale at another store. She went above and beyond to get us the best price read more

I looked up store hours to come buy a gift. Their website said weekdays store hours were 10a-7pm. I came a little after ten and their sign was off so I called to see if they were open, the woman on the phone was kinda rude but I thought maybe she thought it was a prank call. I came in and see one person in the store leaning over the counter watching tiktoks, I was in there maybe 5 minutes and she never looked up or noticed I was there. I walked out without buying anything, didn't want to interrupt her scrolling.... read more

in rawcito Cordova just met Shawna and she's a wonderful gal that gives you the extra attention and help that you deserve

Lousy imaging great products. They target the hardhat trumpers but as a tree-hugger i found good selection of shoes for himung and boots for backpacking and bright yellow and orange shirts for cycling safety. Flannel and cotton long sleeve shirts well-suited for fall recreation and dress casual. Their sizing is for bigger for construction guys. They need to install annexes for scrawny hipsters who want the same products for weekend activities. read more

Friendly ladies that worked the front, they were very busy but we were still asked if we needed help finding anything. Great selection of boots and jackets, found just what my husband was looking for, he is going to have a great Christmas! Thank you so much! read more

I bough a pair of Irish Setter Red Wings pair of boots. After 2 1/2 months, the boots fell apart. My toes were exposed, literally. I contacted Red Wings, they sent me back to Bare Bones and Bare Bones gave me a full refund. Amazing customer service. Customer FOR LIFE!!! read more

Arrived at 5:04pm. Two men were working in the store but the door was locked. My plan was to buy a $200 gift certificate as a Christmas gift. One of the guys walked toward the door held up his hand and mouthed 5pm, we're closed. I have worked retail and good customer service is helping out the customer, ESPECIALLY during the holiday season as shopping is stressful. I will still buy the certificate but the Rancho Cordova store will never get my business. With so many businesses having a hard time making it due to the shut down of the state these employees must be pretty confident. Good luck with that. Life can change in a blink. read more

Ordered an item in February. It's April and I still haven't received it. Called the store beginning of April to get an update and spoke to a very rude female clerk. I was very courteous but she had an attitude right from the start. It's really disappointing because it's the only place I can buy my work uniforms. Oh, and now it's the end of April and still no word on my item. read more

Not helpful, unfriendly employee. Couldn't find what we needed and she gave us no assistance.

Was really disappointed when I went shopping for my dad. Great selection. But the moment I walked in the lady seemed super angry at me so I ended up just browsing around. Then when I asked for a fitting room she kind of got annoyed. Mind you I was quiet that whole time. Ended up leaving with nothing because I was just not welcomed at all. read more

I'm looking for work clothes and I was there and the lady greeted me but as soon as someone else came in a MAN offered to help them. I was not sure about an item so I did need her help, but her attention was on him. Thank you I found cheaper price on line. Good parking but I just don't have time to waste nor money ! Tried taking a pair of my husbands pants back that he didnt try on but bought 2 pair in the same size. One pair ended up being too small for him. He had already pulled the tags off (probably thinking they would fit since the other pair did) and Dorothy at the Rocklin location (where we reside) refused to accept our original receipt. Where is the customer service these days, SMDH! We wont be buying from this company anymore. read more

I bought some Red Wing Irish Setter boots from Barebones on Sunrise Blvd in Rancho Cordova. The shoes felt good while I was in the store but when I wore them to work they killed my feet. So during my lunch break I went and bought some more comfortable boots from a different store. So later during that same week I returned to the barebones store to exchange the boots that were in perfect condition and was told "since I took the tag off of the boot and there was a minimum amount of dirt on the bottom of the boot that I wasn't able to exchange at all. I asked, well why wasn't I informed of that policy before? I was told that "we would have to tell everyone if we started doing that". Uhh yeah I feel that's the whole point. I just wanted to come on here to let everyone know that if you buy shoes/boots from there and take the tag off they will not honor the 30 day return policy that's on their receipts even if you return the shoe one day later. How can you really know if you will be comfortable In a shoe/boot unless you wear it for a good amount of time and walk around in them. Not the few minutes you have them on in the barebones store. That's my first and last time ever in any of the barebones stores. read more

Been here multiple times in the past and was not satisfied with the service. But about 6 months ago I bought a pair of boots that there store only had in stock. I was pleasantly surprised to see that the the employees i was not happy with in a past was no longer there. Summer help me out and was happy and very friendly and told me she would do anything to win me back as a customer. She found me a lower price and was just awesome to deal with. Today i happy to see here and unfortunately they didn't have my size in the pants i wanted and again Summer told me she could get them there by friday. Awesome awesome awesome customer service! The worst service & selections! The ladies at the counter were more interested in their conversations!

This place is awesome. The best part about this place is the service he receive when you come here. You're always greeted and they explain things to you thoroughly and show you every option so you have the ability to make the correct choice. I have made multiple purchases from this location, and I have gotten what I wanted every time. They have a phenomenal choice of Carhart products as well as A few other less expensive options. The prices are a little bit on the more expensive side but the quality of stuff here is better than most places. I highly recommend getting boots and work where here not just the quality of the customer service makes me a returning customer. For the size of this place that sure parks in a lot options. Go check these guys out if you're looking for quality work where with great customer service. read more

Hands down the best BareBones location I've been to. The customer service was phenomenal, and they actually take time to make sure you are satisfied. Their prices are reasonable and are actually cheaper than the Sportsmans warehouse across the parking lot when it comes to boots. I would definitely recommend this location to anyone who appreciates good customer service and quality products as much as I do. read more

Let me begin by saying that I am frustrated after a long day at work and my feet are killing me. About a week ago I purchased a new pair of Keen shoes, specifically for my warehouse job where I am on the floor all day. Bare Bones did not have what I originally wanted in stock so I ended up with the Keen brand. I own a pair of Keen hiking boots and they are fine so I expected the same level of comfort out of these work shoes. After a week the shoes are not breaking in and are painful after about an hour of wear. So, I went back into the store to see if I could exchange them or get a refund. The sales person looked up my order and told me that Keen has a no return policy for comfort issues. My only option was to spend more money on a pair of inserts. My expectation at shopping at Bare Bones is that they would have better customer service and policies than this but the sales person was not flexible. I believe that you get what you pay for and that is why I am willing to spend more for quality products but if the store does not have a policy to work with me on a situation like this then I am done with Bare Bones. I can find the same products online with companies that do have an exchange policy. read more
