There were some add-on services that I had inquired about and that girl Yolanda pretty much told me she didn't know and never got back to me. Didn't ask if Manny the masseuse did not look into it for me it would've been a bust. He offered an alternative service as far as a foot mask. That was an even better option for us so we were pretty thankful for that, but if I had left it up to the other girl, it would've just been when it was . confusion and a whole bunch of nothing Yolanda was the girl that helped us again no greeting She kind of just waved us to the back, pointed at the robes ask us our shoe size and that was really it Once we were changed standing there awkwardly, she walked me into a room and left my mom in the hallway and then asked me. Did you tell your mom to come -I looked at her like girl I don't even know what's going on so why would I tell her to come once we went to the room? It was like again we were kind of just sitting there like what's going on a few minutes later she brought in a glass of champagne for my mom so we hung out there for about 30 minutes before they took us back for the massage. I think it was a really big missed opportunity to say "hello Welcome to aqua blue. My name is so-and-so thank you for booking this package" or happy Mother's Day whatever but she literally didn't greet us at all. My mom looked bummed that it was starting off with a really lackluster experience I paid $400 for this package You would think once they saw my reservation for such a package they would've at least acknowledged it in some way By the time we got upstairs, I was pretty frustrated with the service we were receiving -thank goodness Ruben and Manny were really friendly and helpful. It probably would've been lower stars if Manny wouldn't have been so unbelievably sweet, caring and compassionate. My mom was really struggling getting off her jewelry and nobody would help her. I have really long nails so I was struggling. Manny was the only person nice enough to attempt to help her and put it back on after the massage was completed To be honest for $400 I was pretty disappointed. Manny did a great job and I am very thankful for him. My mom was really happy with Ruben. But did I feel like I was there getting a luxurious experience for Mother's Day absolutely not! Did I feel like we were bothering them with a groupon package absolutely! The advertise these chocolates that they had, I asked about them they didn't have any available. It just seemed like a lot of missed opportunities and we were there the day before Mother's Day so any of the ladies that went on actual Mother's Day We're probably super bummed that they didn't have any of the accoutrement offered. Sad part is the following weekend. I took my mom to happy feet down the street and she got a foot and neck massage and I got a neck and shoulder massage and the total was $70 and to be honest I felt more relaxed when I was leaving there, then I did with aqua blue . I'm kind of glad I decided to do that because honestly, I was going to book with Manny again because he was amazing but with those prices to not be happy was pretty unacceptable. My dad passed recently, so Mother's Day had proven to be harder than expected. That's why I wanted to do something extra special for her this year by booking the spa. We have been to massage envy before and that's honestly where I was gonna go this time, but I was trying to do an elevated experience that was outside of a corporate place but honestly, I think even the value at massage envy is greater than here because again with those prices to not be happy it's just crappy honestly it took me a while to write the review because I didn't want to seem Like I didn't enjoy the time with my mom. I absolutely did. I just didn't enjoy the lack of customer service- if I was paying what I paid over there at happy feet this would've been a five star review but $400 later to leave unsatisfied.... All I'm saying is I'm down to spend some money and I'm down to spend some good money on quality stuff. I just feel kind of ripped off.

I also gave the technician the exact number of the polish color I wanted. She came back twice with different colors and kept telling me, "this one better," instead of bringing me the color I had chosen. I had to repeatedly insist that I just wanted the original color. The worst part was the actual pedicure. My feet did not feel particularly clean afterward, there was polish left on my skin, and the technician removed enough skin from my toe that I was bleeding and left with a visible raw area/gash. When I questioned her about what happened, she told me, "It's not that bad. It will be okay." I found that incredibly dismissive considering I was bleeding from a service that was supposed to be relaxing and leave my feet looking better. At that point, I no longer felt comfortable staying to have my nails done and left. So now, instead of leaving with my nails and toes done for my friend's wedding, I'm going to the wedding without my nails done and with a painful, visible injury on my foot. I really wish my choices had simply been respected from the beginning. I didn't want upgrades or different colors. I just wanted the pedicure I asked for and light purple polish. I definitely did not expect to leave bleeding.

Shanoa is the absolute best! I won't to anyone else! She always has the perfect wax temp, gets all the stragglers, and is always in the best mood! Her loft is clean, bright, classy, and very relaxing. I expressed to a friend "It's like getting a wax in a serene park!" I could come in with a crappy attitude and leave not only feeling empowered and strutting out feeling clean, but I leave feeling relaxed and in an overall better mood. She is such a sweet person and very personable and easy to talk to, which I feel is a must if you're gotta drop your pants for a Bikini or Brazilian wax. I have never had a bad wax from her and have been getting my waxes from her for well over a year now. She is honest about what products to use to really prevent ingrown hairs even if it's not a product she sells and really cares about your experience and care afterwards so ensure your next wax is just as awesome.
