E X P E R I E N C E I cant speak on any other injector, not because they arent good but because my NP is -that- good. I came in to the Phipps location initially on a whim. It would be my first botox consultation and I wasn't even sure I wanted to do it but Alorna NP is a wealth of knowledge and she never hesitated to spend the time with me. I felt comfortable with her so i went ahead with it. And now if I continue to on this botox journey, I'll never go with anyone other than her. The first time we met, she explained the 4 major types of botulinum injections, side effects, the crucial differences, how long it would last. then she recommended to me what she thought was best for me and what she would be comfortable with. I had questions lined up prior to the appt and she went through each of them. I told her I get stress migraines and also wonder if i need any preventative forehead care. I made it clear I didn't want a frozen face and i didn't need a drastic difference. if I remember correctly, she gave me 4 units in the forehead and 8 units in my frown lines. she said she can see my pull lines bc she knows what to look for, but my muscles are not very active so she just gsve a small dosage. to make me more comfortable, she gave me a vibrating device to hold to distract me, and talked to me casually about life and also what she was doing as she was injecting. the first and second experiences have been the same. amazing. comfortable. like seeing an old friend. she couldve easily put more to charge me more but she respected my requests and honestly, I am more that happy with her and her care. I saw her first back in jan and then again in May. I am very active so it only lasted 3ish months for me. its June now. i am happy with the way i look and feel, and no one can even tell (not that it matters bc it's my face and my body). my face is very expressive and hasn't changed. my migraines are gone. feeling wise, my forehead muscles just feel very relaxed. it doesn't look any different, which if it did, then something is very wrong. I've told a few friends as they've inquired about botox and they were all very impressed. **coming from a fellow healthcare professional and one who works in the hospital, I can attest that she is professional, supportive, passionate, yet personable. You can pay--including tip--on credit card. Threading cost $11. My old salon offered aloe, post-service, which was not offered here. My waxing lady, who runs a salon in her home, recently moved about an hour from me and I was in dire need of a wax. Because my lady told me she used to work at this chain, and she's so amazing, I thought that all the ladies would be the same. Absolutely not. I booked a Brazilian (30 min) and inner leg (15min). I should've had 45 minutes total but instead they had me out in 15 minutes battered and bruised. Note: I have never bruised or bled or even yelped in pain in all the 30+ waxes I've received in my life. I have literally been drinking a glass of wine and eating a charcuterie board while getting waxed just fine. This woman just covered large areas with wax and ripped them off to save time and get me out the door. When I was all bruised, she tried to blame it on me shaving. No. It's only been 4 months since my last wax and I only shaved once in between. Ive had waxes in the past after a year of shaving and never had any damage. My skin is not sensitive in the slightest. Stay away from this place. It's honestly the McDonald's of waxing salons. Spend an extra $10 and go to a real aesthetician who takes care of you.

Note: there's two locations - I'm not sure if they are owned by the same owner, but they are both located in the same plaza. I've only been to the second location once- which is located upstairs, so I don't have much of an opinion of their second location. It does get pretty busy on the weekends, so either come early or on the weekdays if you don't want to wait. However, even on their busiest days, the longest I had to wait was 20 minutes. I only get my eyebrows threaded here, but they offer other services as well! Eyebrows are $5 now (it used to be $4). However, this place is one of the cheapest places for eyebrows I've found and I've been pretty pleased with the services. I don't have a particular person I go to (you have to pay more if you request for a certain person), but I haven't had any issues with any of the people who did my eyebrows yet.
