Stopped in on a Saturday afternoon for lunch. We've heard amazing things and couldn't wait to check it out ourselves. Their kitchen hours are 11-3 so it was incredibly busy! Food was amazing, fresh and the meat was incredible. Would highly recommend! Everyone was so kind and helpful with ordering and providing suggestions. We even left with blueberry breakfast sausage to try at home.

One of my favorite cheeseburgers in town! HIGHLY recommend! The indoor space is pretty small, but they have a great patio! The service was also pretty quick. They also sell high quality meat that you can take home and cook yourself! PLUS, it's right next door to Harding House Brewery, which has a great vibe and so many good beers on tap! Burgers and beer on a patio? It doesn't get much better than that! What I ordered: -Two cheeseburgers one with a side of beef fat fried potatoes and the other with beef chili Parking: Free street parking- wasn't too hard to get a spot when we went!

I have been meaning to try this place ever since I moved to West Nashville, and finally got the opportunity to! I will say the hours are super tough for me, as the only day of really be able to go would be Saturday since they are only open to get sandwiches during lunch hours. When we went, it was absolutely packed in there on a Saturday during lunchtime which was great to see and honestly didn't surprise me! Since it was so packed, we decided to get our food to go since there isn't a huge area to sit. I will say that although it was pouring when we went, there are typically tables outside where you can enjoy your meal! I heard so much about their cheeseburger so of course I had to try that and the duck fat fries which I've also heard wonderful things about. It took about fifteen minutes for us to get our food. The cheeseburger was one of the best burgers in Nashville. The two beef patties were so tasty, and I love the American cheese slices they put along with the pickles, Duke's mayo, and mustard. The combination of all of those flavors went so well. I'm also a huge fan of the bun they used as well. The duck fat fries were unlike anything I've ever had before. They were tasty, crispy, and went so well with the garlic mayo sauce they give you. I can't believe this was my first time trying this place, but I'll definitely be back! I'm also looking forward to trying their meats!

Got the cheeseburger, beef tallow potatoes and the BBBLT to go for lunch and it was incredible! I was able to call in my order and it was ready in 8 minutes. The burger was cooked to perfection and the potatoes were some of the best I've ever had! What a great spot for a tasty lunch! Highly recommend!

Really great quick stop for lunch. Sandwiches are pretty large and reasonably priced. I ordered the chicky bacon ranch and it was delicious! Lots of chicken and bacon coated in ranch - It was maybe a little less flavorful than I thought it would be although still tasty. Also tried the beef fat fried potatoes which were very crispy and yummy. Overall a great stop that I highly recommend. Haven't tried their butcher shop but looking forward to it at some point!

Amazing butcher that serves incredible sandwiches. Would highly recommend a visit for lunchtime. The meatball sandwich is the best thing I've tried here, but everything has been great including the Cubano and fried potatoes.

This is such a gem of a place in the Nations. In addition to being a full service deli counter butcher, they offer a lunch menu with what many call the best burger in Nashville. It's very fresh and flavorful. You can tell the meat is ground in house. I also really love their meatball sub which comes with garlic aioli, giardiniera, provolone, served on a great crusty bread. The staff are very helpful and seem passionate about their work. The place is clean and well organized too. You can grab some unique grocery items like beef tallow too. We are happy to be repeat customers here.

One of the best burgers in the city. They keep it simple - the answer is in the meat, grinded fresh.

Bare Bones does not disappoint. The meatball sandwich was just as amazing as I remembered. There's outdoor seating but not a ton indoors, so keep that (and the weather forecast!) in mind if you're hoping to eat there. A must-visit if you're in the area and are a sandwich lover.

Stopped by for lunch when my family was in town. Greeted the moment we walked in! The menu is well displayed, it's small (so not overwhelming), but has good variety. It's a great set up inside, and everything in the counter/on the shelves was nicely presented. I tried the meatball sub, my dad got the pastrami sandwich, and my brother did the beef po boy - we all loved our choices. The beef on the po boy was a crowd favorite for all of us - it was so tender and well seasoned! The bread used on all sandwiches was great as well! Great lunch spot, and local butcher!

Bread, 5 stars. Potatoes, 5 stars. Excellent sammich experience. Drinks are beer, then nothing with ice, FYI. Can drinks, glass bottle Coke, or water with no ice. Seating inside very limited. 3 Picnic tables outside and more space if the restaurant next door isn't busy. Parking is limited. Will go back for the burger, as that is what everyone was raving about but the potatoes alone are worth the visit. Just be ready for trendy Nations seating and parking, y'all.

I wish I could give this place 10 stars. My husband and I have tried every acclaimed burger spot in Nashville, and Bare Bones has the best burger in town (no contest). It may be the best burger we've ever had. I didn't realize ground beef could melt in my mouth. The patties tasted farm-fresh and cooked perfectly with the slightest crisp on the outside. The pickle and mustard were the perfect pairing. We typically always add ketchup to a burger, but this was the first burger that didn't need ketchup (or anything else for that matter). The buns were fresh and warm, too. The Cubano was also very good. The bread was fresh, and the sandwich had almost a southern flavor to it with smoked pork. I will be dreaming about the duck fat potatoes because they are crave-worthy. They had the right level of crisp and weren't overwhelmingly oily or greasy. The space is beautiful with green tile and unique lighting. The staff was friendly and helpful. We will absolutely return to Bare Bones!

The owner is from Hawaii, so he knows what truly fresh sushi should taste like. Apparently they've figured out how to get fish to your plate within about three days of it being caught and swimming in the ocean. That's impressive, especially considering frozen fish at many places can spend weeks in the supply chain before it's served. I've tried a lot of sushi spots around Nashville, and to me, nothing else has been as consistently fresh or tasted as good. Highly recommend.

It's more than a grocery store--it's a gourmet food experience. Located on Broadway, this store has clearly been designed with convenience in mind. The underground parking garage offers two hours of complimentary parking with validation, and my favorite feature had to be the shopping cart escalator that takes your cart between the store and the garage. Whoever thought of that deserves a raise. Inside, it feels like they thought of everything. There's a full-service coffee and craft beer bar (BroadBrews), hot and cold prepared food bars, pizza, soup, sushi, a beautiful bakery, an impressive cheese department, a self-serve mochi ice cream station, gelato, an olive bar, and even a grind-your-own nut butter station. There's also an Amazon return counter, fast self-checkout, free Wi-Fi, and a bright upstairs café with plenty of seating, outlets, restrooms, and even a microwave for customers. My favorite part is wandering through the specialty departments. The cheese counter, smoked fish, caviar, artisan chocolates, fresh bakery, and regional products from local Nashville makers make this feel like an old-school gourmet market in the best possible way.
