Facebook presence I've been here a few times now to see Rachel and can't say enough positive things about her! She is super friendly and easy to talk to. She is very responsive on Yelp and is very accommodating with my last minute type of hair requests (thanks, Rachel!) Based on the latter alone, I highly recommend going to her and her salon! I have not seen the other hairstylist there but I'm sure she's great since she works alongside Rachel!

She's always super friendly. She is incredibly skilled. I really can't give her enough credit. Everyone I've ever interacted with is super friendly and welcoming. There's plenty of parking and you can book online. While I'm fiercely loyal to my home salon, I went to Golden Shears specifically to get my hair done with my two friends, as we prepared for an event. I'd happily recommend them for blowout services. One of my friends has been seeing Tasha for her hair needs for years and always looks amazing, so I decided to join her and another friend at Golden Shears for the afternoon. It's a convenient location, near the Wegmans just off Empire Boulevard. There's plenty of parking and a comfortable waiting area. The inside is full of mirrors and has plenty of gold accents, hence the "golden shears". My appointment was with Emily, and I asked for soft waves to match my casual yet formal dress, and she knew exactly what to do. Emily was a great stylist and my hair looked amazing.
