I asked him to start with a zero and explained that if my son wanted it shorter, he might want to go with a skin fade. I was honestly shocked when Rick told me that going from a zero to a skin fade would cost double the price. I've never experienced a barber charging double simply because the customer wants the hair cut shorter. I understand charging extra for certain services, but doubling the price for this was completely unexpected and, in my opinion, unreasonable. After waiting over an hour, this was definitely not the experience I expected. Unfortunately, they lost three haircuts today--mine and my two boys--and they will not be getting our business in the future. Very disappointed with the experience, especially after such a long wait. I would not recommend this place based on my experience today.

I had plenty of hair for him to work with and he just blew it by drastically shortening the length. Which I love my hair long but with a clean look. If they're not familiar with a certain haircut/hair styles; they don't have to force themselves to work with it or at least I could try waiting for someone with more experience with hair styles. My little guy can be a little fussy , but Brandon did an amazing job with his cut, getting him comfortable and making sure he looks good. I feel like both my boys are in a weird phase with their hair. It just never felt quite right to me, and it was really hard going anywhere and feeling slightly unsatisfied each time. The cuts were average at best, but the biggest issue was the lack of air conditioning. On all three visits, the A/C wasn't working. I could understand it being broken once, or even twice, but after multiple visits over an extended period, it became clear that management wasn't making it a priority to fix. Sitting through a haircut in an uncomfortably hot shop is not acceptable, especially at these prices. Another concern was the drinks being sold in the shop. Because of the heat, I went to grab a drink from the refrigerator and noticed they only had CBD-infused water. During my visit, I observed a barber assure a parent that it was fine for their child to have one. That was concerning enough that I contacted the Better Business Bureau to ask about it and was advised to make a formal report of the situation. I genuinely hope the owner takes this feedback seriously. Fix the A/C, improve the overall experience, and make sure products being sold are handled responsibly. This place has a good location and has potential but based on my experiences, I just can't recommend this shop to anyone, especially not someone with kids.
