Not going to call out exactly who it was but I came in as a walk in and explained to the barber what I wanted. I asked for a mid fade and he proceeded to give me a high fade. Since my back was to the mirror I wasn't able to see what he was doing until he turned me around to face the mirror. Went here the other day with my hair super long, and they took me in early. I wasn't even 100% sure of what I wanted, but I had some picture of a dude who vaguely had a haircut I thought I might be able to pull off. I showed the guy, and bam - he did it. Nailed it as best as I could've hoped, and was really polite about it the whole time. Atmosphere was cool too, but the music was a bit loud so be ready for that. This business does not know how to handle new walk-ins, potentially losing long term customers. We were waiting for our son's haircut, with only one barber working while two others were chilling in the back. When two guys came in, they were asked if they had an appointment (by the one boarder working), and they said "no," so they were told to take a seat. Then, a barber came from the back to help them without asking the basic question, "who's next?". When the barber saw how upset we were about them being served first, he falsely claimed they had an appointment-when in front of us, the other customer and barber said hey didn't have an appointment. My husband, my son and my Dad have all had their haircut here by different barbers. They all do an amazing job. Their prices are a little on the higher side ($30 a haircut) for me but I know it's reasonable for the times we're in. They only accept Zelle or cash. When you walk in you're immediately greeted. They are also very clean which is always a plus and what you want. We're newish to this area and I found Goon's from a Google search. Thank you google! read more
