Where is the sport in that!? Every flavor on their menu somehow turns a different person into a hunter of doughnuts. Much like the astrological signs, each mini represents people born at different times in the year. Beware them however...treats this delicious can change a person... These sweet rolls of merriment have left an impression on me larger than Moby Dick left on Captain Ahab. My obsession steadily grows the more classic vanilla minis I have! I begin despising regular food and drink on account of it not being Metro Minis. My friends and family notice a change in me as I begin disappearing days or weeks at a time; all on a never ending quest to find and eat more of these fried balls of perfection. I actually once followed this truck for 30 miles on foot just for it to end up at Heard on Hurd near my home in Edmond! I could have just waited at home or checked social media to find out this information but I was too consumed in the hunt! The literal fry cooks working in this truck never make a single mistake. As far as I can tell they were actually put on this earth to fry cake doughnuts into an endless stream of awe. The days in which I can't find the truck feel so empty, so meaningless. I have but one purpose in life...to hunt these doughnuts. I will never yield...until a doctor inevitably tells me to stop eating 36 Metro Minis a day... at that point I'll dial it back to 18 or so...Needless to say I have a plan for the next 40 years of my life! The dipping sauce was great but a little spicier than my taste but it was still so good I ate it. I had an egg roll also. It was great. I dipped it in the sauce too so I guess it wasn't that spicy. My husband had the Korean Bowl with a salad. He really enjoyed it. It was a huge amount of food. He only ate half of it. I gave them 4 stars because of the wait time. We waited 45 minutes for our food after we ordered. There were several people there not happy with the wait time. They had come to our neighborhood so everyone gets there pretty much at the same time. Maybe when they are in a parking lot with no rush it might be faster. They would have easily gotten 5 stars from me if the wait hadn't been so long. The food was 5 star worthy.

It didn't take long for our meal to be ready but others told us that they had waited an hour in previous visits. I had the lobster and tots, the pico was delicious and really put the dish over the top. I also had the clam chowder which was fantastic. My husband had the lobster tacos which were terrific and loaded with big pieces of meat. He chose the lobster bisque as well but sadly neither of us liked it and we definitely recommend the clam chowder.

Price: pricey for portion size - lobster roll is a hotdog bun size. Saltiness/seasoning: everything was just bland - the lobster tasted like the butter, and the bisque tasted like it was watered down. Temperature: Waited in line for fresh, the lobster roll was warm and cold at the same time, and the bisque was watered down with no lobster chunks and cold. Pre-Packaged: The Woopied Pie was premade/prepacked and is frozen solid, it is inedible. -Lobster Roll, plus bisque, plus woopie pie was over $40 and that did not include the mandatory tip. Always wanted to try it - now I have, not returning (over-priced, bland, pre-made). UPDATE: I was able to speak with Bethanie, the Customer Relations Manager, for about 10-15 minutes to discuss my concerns. Our conversation was helpful, and it appears this was likely an isolated incident. I've agreed to visit the OKC truck the next time it's in town and will update my review afterward. Because of the professional and thoughtful customer service interaction, I'm updating my rating from one (1) star to two (2) stars. How a company handles concerns can shape how the overall experience is remembered, and it's clear Cousins Maine Lobster has passionate people behind their brand.

Finally, a top-tier Asian bakery in OK!…read more If you live in Oklahoma, you know the struggle: there aren't many options for authentic Asian pastries, and even fewer that actually thrive. 85°C Bakery Cafe is a breath of fresh air and easily one of the better spots in the area. You can really tell everything is baked fresh that morning. The textures are spot on--soft, airy, and just the right amount of sweetness. Their drink menu is near-perfection. Both the Milk Tea and Thai Tea taste incredibly authentic, which is hard to find around here. They aren't just sugar-bombs; you can actually taste the quality of the tea. The only reason I'm not giving a full 5 stars is a safety concern for those with allergies. Unlike Tous Les Jours, which clearly lists ingredients/allergens by each pastry, 85°C is a bit more vague at the display. As someone who has to be careful about what's in my food, I'd love to see them adopt a more transparent labeling system so I don't have to guess or ask for every item. The Verdict: Delicious, fresh, and a must-visit for your pastry fix. Just be cautious if you have specific dietary restrictions!

They also wouldn't heat up the savory bun, which was disappointing. It would've been much better warm, but the cashier said no and clearly didn't care. Service was speedy, but our cashier was unfriendly. The coffee was overpriced and too sweet, and it needed stirring--but you can't stir it with the boba lid. On top of that, we had to order coffee separately and pay twice, which felt inconvenient. Even after ordering at the kiosk, our hot coffee somehow came out iced... oops. (Yes, it clearly says iced on the receipt - so obviously we missed something.) We also had to clean our own table, even though it wasn't busy. There seems to be a lot of variety at first glance, but if you look closely, it's mostly the same bread--lots of red bean. On the plus side, there's lots of natural light and plenty of seating (at least when it's not busy). Overall, a bit disappointed. The prices lured us in, but this won't be a routine stop for us. It doesn't hold a candle to Tous Les Jours.
