I ordered ribs since one of the diners said they were better than anything she has had (and she is a Texas native) and BOY they did not disappoint!! My husband loves brisket so he opted for the brisket sandwich, plus we got a pulled pork sandwich just to try out another meat. You can get the meat dry or with BBQ sauce. They also give you a bottle of BBQ sauce to add more as you please. For the sides, we had the mac and cheese, candied yams, corn on the cob with butter, cornbread, and smoky beans. All were absolutely amazing. The rib bones pulled right out of the slab. The brisket was moist and so, so, so good. The prices are so reasonable, especially compared to the big chains we have near us in Harrisburg, PA (looking at you, Mission BBQ...). This was less than $15 for a sandwich with generous meat portions AND TWO SIDES! Incredible. The ribs were $28 for a rack plus two sides, which is more than fair. The food was AMAZING, yet the service was even better. We had the privilege of talking with the owner, who let us know today is their last day at the Walnut St address. They do plan to open down the street at the carwash sometime soon. Lots of customers seem to be frequent visitors and the owner even offered to do delivery to elderly customers who walk over to the restaurant. The employees clearly love working here and we can see why!! I am not joking when I say we will drive over an hour just to eat this BBQ again. The owner and employees are amazing people and I hope they thrive in their next adventure. 10/10, HIGHLY recommend.

These sides issues are personal preference issues. If I liked their flavor they'd be good. The ribs were fall of the bone, but that shouldn't be the final judgement. The pulled pork and brisket were tender, however, all three suffered from what I'd say is a lack in flavor. I prefer more flavor to it. The bbq sauce isn't bad. I didn't have enough to really judge it. It isn't a thick sauce. I would prefer my bbq sauce to be in a container for me to apply rather than spread over my meat. Is it the best bbq in PA? No. Is it better than average? Yes, but not a top tier. Are the portions generous? For me, no, but maybe others yes. Is this the best bbq in the area? Currently, I'd say yes. Overall, would I eat here again? Yes, as they are currently the best in the local region. Will I go out of my way to eat here? Only if I have a strong urge for brisket or ribs. She asked me if I wanted any sauce, and she put on the amount that I had requested. Then she kindly thanked me. At this Rib Fest, I ate ribs from three other vendors, and I think that Ribbins BBQ had the best-tasting ribs. These ribs were the smallest size and had the least amount of meat, but my husband and I really enjoyed the smokey flavor of the meat and the sweet sauce. I did not buy any other foods from this business, but their website mentions pulled pork, beef brisket, BBQ chicken, loaded fries, baked beans, coleslaw, macaroni and cheese, and collard greens. Their website also mentions that they offer catering within a 20-mile radius of their business. The foods include those previously mentioned plus ham, turkey, sausage, hotdogs, burgers, potato salad, corn, baked potato, pasta salad, applesauce, salads, beans and rice, green beans, rice, cornbread, etcetera.
