I can't say enough wonderful things about Dr. Barbara Yee! I started my Invisalign treatment with her three years ago, and while my treatment went a little longer than originally planned, that was only because I'm a perfectionist -- and so is she! After my second set of trays, I mentioned a concern about one of my front teeth. It was a very minor adjustment, but Dr. Yee immediately understood what I was seeing and agreed. She told me, "You want perfect, it will get perfect." That really sums up the kind of orthodontist she is. Her goal wasn't simply to finish my treatment -- she genuinely wanted me to be completely happy with my smile. I have so much respect for Dr. Yee and the work she does. She is incredibly thorough, detail-oriented, and her communication throughout the entire process has been phenomenal. On top of being an excellent orthodontist, she is genuinely kind, caring, and really listens to her patients. This is my third experience with orthodontic treatment, and I only wish I had found Dr. Yee from the very beginning. I highly recommend her to anyone considering Invisalign or orthodontic treatment. I couldn't be happier with my experience and my results! read more

I can't believe it's been 4 years since we started braces/Invisalign for my son! Anyways, I would like to update my review with an amazing ending because he is officially done! Retainers are the last step! I highly recommend Dr. Yee for all your ortho needs. She's been the best! Very understanding and a kind heart. I will always remember what a pleasant experience this was. My daughter even wants braces when she grows up, lol and she's only 8. Thank you! read more

I had a great experience with Dr. Yee for my Invisalign treatment. From the very beginning, she was courteous, professional, and friendly. All the visits happened on-schedule which is big for me; no sitting in the waiting area. She took the time to clearly explain the process and answer all my questions. She was responsive and attentive throughout the entire treatment. Whether it was scheduling, follow-ups, or addressing concerns, she was always quick to help and very accommodating. She also handled billing my insurance, for the part that was covered. I truly appreciate the level of care and attention to detail Dr. Yee provides. I would recommend her for anyone considering Invisalign or orthodontic care. read more

Dr. Yee was referred for my son by our family dentist. Our dentist actually referred us to a couple different orthodontists but Dr. Yee was the only one who called me back. Not sure what happened to the others during Covid shelter-in-place. Dr. Yee is professional and efficient. She communicates openly and honestly, and responds to emails and phone calls in a very timely manner. She contacted our insurance company to find out what our coverage is, then she worked with us financially to come up with a payment plan that worked for us. She showed and explained to us in full detail the difference between braces and Invisalign - in length of wear, how to care for your teeth in both scenarios, the after care, and cost. She is very knowledgeable and guided us - especially my son - on our best option. I love how she spoke to my 12-year old son about what his responsibilities are with his orthodontic care. I was there listening, but she was purposely speaking and discussing with my son, the one who will be wearing the braces or Invisalign. Dr. Yee is caring and thoughtful. I would recommend her services for your orthodontic needs. (My husband was so impressed, he is next in line to get Invisalign!) read more

We had a very good experience with Dr. Yee. She is very thorough with the treatment and is always accessible. You can tell she really takes pride in her work. The only downside to her practice is that she doesn't have an onsite X-ray machine so you have to go to a separate company which costs additional money. Overall though, happy with Dr. Yee's care. read more

Dr. Barbara is amazing. She did an invisalign for me from January 2023. My former dentist referred me here. He said he couldn't do my teeth, as my case was challenging. She finished my treatment last week. I couldn't expect a better result than this. I am 50 and she made my teeth no gasp at all. Even from the beginning she said I couldn't promise but I would try my best. Now she achieved the best result. I appreciate all that Dr. Yee has done. My new smile has given me more confidence and I love to smile read more

Dr. Barbara Yee is a very knowledgeable and caring orthodontist. I saw her back when I was in high school to get my braces done, and although I was very anxious at the time about having braces and what the experience/journey would be like, Dr. Yee was always thorough and made sure the process was comfortable for me. Having braces wasn't as nerve wrecking as I thought it would be, and it ended with me having wonderful, straight teeth! She is always looking out for the best interest for your dental health, and I appreciate all that she has done for me. I still wear my retainers to this day, because of all of the work she has done for me! I would recommend Dr. Yee for anyone who is seeking an orthodontist. She is very personable, and makes the entire process very seamless. Thank you, Dr. Yee! read more

My experience with Dr. Yee is great. Another orthodontist looked at my situation at an earlier time and concluded my teeth could not be corrected due to jaw bone conditions and age (50s). Dr. Yee made a plan to progress slowly, and the result came out great after almost 3 years of correction. She is a one person team, but does everything elegantly and patiently. Her price is transparent. During the original 2-year process, the progress was a little bit off the expected course, and she had to do a new mold and added more liners to slow down the process, but didn't add new charge. I highly recommend Dr. Yee if you want to get a professional and stress-free orthodontic treatment. read more

Dr. Yee has worked with me for just over one year in orthodontics. She has always explain things very nicely in terms I can comprehend, she was honest and straightforward about potential and what we want to accomplish and was always very professional in the office. She was always on time and was considerate of my time constraints as well. I would highly recommend her to friends and family for orthodontic treatment and I look forward to working with her again in the future. I want to thank her for all she has done for me and her constant encouragement to use my bite stick to flatten out my Invisalign each time I came in :-) read more

Dr. Yee is very gentle with my youngest daughter and accommodating to our needs. She's made every effort to work with our fluctuating schedule and goes above and beyond for my daughter's care. My daughter is very comfortable with her and has no anxiety about her dental treatment. I'd recommend her to anyone with young children who want to address their dental needs early like we did. It's been an amazing experience so far. Five star experience for sure! read more

I highly recommend Dr. Yee for orthodontia. She is welcoming, straightforward, and skilled--which was a huge relief because the previous practice I'd visited felt more like a used car dealership, always trying to upsell me. Dr. Yee, in contrast, explained everything well and didn't pressure me. And I'm very happy with the results of my Invisalign treatment! read more

Dr. Yee was great for my daughter. We did Invisalign and my kid was a challenge. However Dr Yee did everything well with her and went out of her way several times to make sure my kid had everything they needed. Now my kid's teeth are great all thanks to Dr. Yee. Made it as painless for me as it could be. read more

Great ortho! We have two kids go through Dr. Yee and feel the direct contact with "doctor" not assistants was far worth our investment than other orthos who may have nicer offices, game stations and heavy marketing. We had our first son go through 1st phase with a very popular orthodontist on Bollinger Canyon. The kids loved his office because it was nicely decorated, they always had some gimmicky contest (mostly to generate referrals) and great service, but it felt like they were "moving" through as many patients as they could. Dr. Yee's office is your typical plain but very clean office and she is THE person that works on my kids and provides sufficient time to answer questions for both my sons and for us. Yeah she doesn't have a PS3 or Nintendo in the lobby, but we feel the quality of service is much better and we NEVER feel rushed like at the other office. We will always recommend. read more

She is a total rip off. First of all my son's lower retainer broken after only two months and she charged us $500 for a replacement but when you check online the average price should be between $300 and $600 for the pair of them. Also, I needed to get braces for myself and Barbara wanted to charge me $1700.00 more that both other quotes that I received, I asked her if we could comprimise and split the difference in half so that I could have the same orthodontist as my son and she would not budge, so I went elsewhere. I would never ever recommend anyone use her service, she is just not worth the extra cost. read more

It is hard to put into words my respect and admiration for Dr.Yee. She is hardworking, patient, caring, thorough, skillful and is overall a good person. She is flexible in her schedule and has been very generous not only with her time but with all the extra work that she has put in for my son's treatment. Her office is clean and simple. I am leery of fancy dentists' offices because I know I am the one paying for any fancy schmanzy things they put. read more

Dr Yee is a great Orthodontist and she cared for both my sons through few phases of braces over the years. She has great patience, always thorough and provided personal care and feedback to each individual for every visit. Dr Yee has also gone the extra mile to ensure the payment plan was manageable. We have referred Dr Yee to friends and they were very pleased with her professionalism and smiles. Thank you Dr Yee! read more

Dr. Yee is very helpful and kind!! I enjoy coming to her office for my appointments and she makes everyone feel very welcome!!

Dr. Barbara Yee was highly recommended to us by our cosmetic dentist and we are so grateful. She has been providing orthodontic treatment to our 2 children and the results have been spectacular! Dr. Yee is very knowledgeable and professional while at the same time she is also extremely kind and caring. She is very accommodating and we found her to be very easy to work with. We would certainly recommend Dr. Barbara Yee and feel that you would be hard pressed to find another orthodontist of her caliber. read more

Dr. Yee is a perfectionist! She's all about doing the work correctly and doesn't take any short cuts. She's 100% hands-on probably because she's unable to find assistants to do the work at the high level she expects. My son has been going to her for a year now and about to leave for college but I know she will continue to work with him on completing his treatment even if he will be away most of the year. She truly cares about her patients and their well being. If you insist on getting the best possible results, then she's the orthodontist for you. read more

As a "grown up" I dreaded getting braces. But needed them - not for cosmetics, but so I'd stop cracking teeth due to misalignment. I won't say it was a pleasant two years, but Dr. Yee sure made it easier! She was so encouraging, warm, and supportive. And very flexible working with my schedule. Now I have a lovely smile (although facing a year of full time retainer wearing followed by a life time of retainer at night). Convenient location and plenty of parking. Fair price. Great follow-up. Comfort of knowing she'll be supportive in the future. read more

My two daughters ages 14 and 16 yrs old are patients of Dr. Barbara Yee. They both had braces for about 27-29 months. And, just got their braces removed - they look GREAT! We never had any problems with Dr. Yee. She is always on-time, very caring and knowledgeable. The best thing about seeing Dr. Yee is that she is hands-on with the patients. There are no assistants working on you. You pay a lot of money at other ortho offices and only the assistant's work on you and the doctor just does a spot check. I wouldn't want to pay a lot of money to have a doctor spot check my kids. I would highly recommend anyone to see Dr. Barbara Yee. read more

Dr. Yee has been a wonderful orthodontist for my daughter - very thorough, very caring, very professional. My daughter just got her braces off and we could not be more pleased - her smile is beautiful! I'm not sure about this lady as a Dentist but in a normal environment, she is a very rude person! I was at the San Francisco Dental Convention and I sat down in an aisle seat and my bag next to me. They announced that we could log in for the class so I got up and was only gone maybe 1 minute. During that time Dr Yee put her stuff on my seat and left it. I came back to my seat noticing that someone's stuff was on my seat so I moved it. I'm sitting here waiting for the lecture to start and she came up to me and told me I was in her seat. I explained to her that my stuff was here, she continued arguing with me even though there were tons of other empty aisle seats. So I just got up and move across the aisle from her. Very very rude!! People in the lecture were appalled about her behavior. read more
