Since my children were now grown and done with braces I decided it was time to fix my teeth. I immediately thought to call "Dr. Mac. He treated 2 of my children with beautiful results. Being a mature, professional women I didn't want to go with traditional braces. Dr. McElroy discussed what type of results I would expect to have with Invisalign since I had a severe overbite, genetically missing 2 teeth. He worked with more than the expected time frame never charging anything extra. I love my teeth. I would ALWAYS recommend Dr. Mac and his staff they are terrific. read more

I really don't like leaving bad reviews but I didn't really have a good experience with Dr. McElroy. I think if I were a 7 year old boy it would have been great. But I am a 30-something woman. I went in for a consultation a few months ago. I need braces to fix my bite due to TMJ. The overwhelming spiderman stuff everywhere was one thing. (and I mean EVERYWHERE!) But his personality was also a bit overwhelming. Another yelper mentioned that he seems like he's had too much coffee... I'd describe him as a bit of a spaz that constantly uses kids catch phrases. Again, this would probably be great if I were a kid. He quoted me a price that was $2000 more than my second opinion I ended up getting. Plus he told me I had to have full braces for at least a year an a half and that invisiline wasn't an option. I'm thankful I got a second opinion because I ended up with invisiline for only 9 months and my teeth are bite are looking great. Perhaps I am a specific case but if you have any sort of special bite issues that needs fixed I wouldn't recommend him. But if you have a child that likes spiderman and just needs their teeth straightened I'm sure he'd be fine. read more

Lol @ some of these reviews.... Get over yourself. Dr. Scott is fantastic! His energy is infectious and his positive outlook is contagious. I went in to see him for some touch up work (I had a TON of ortho work done as a kid and most of it was ok, but i still had some shifting.) I wanted perfect teeth and asked him to be honest as to whether or not invisalign was a better option than traditional braces. Turns out, I had to sacrifice 17 months of vanity (he projected 18) for a gorgeous smile. Get past the decorations. Yes, he is a spiderman fanatic. This office is meant to help children who can be a little scared of getting work done, not to appeal to adults who are more than capable of seeing through that to the results. His office is friendly, and professional and his pricing is fair for the advanced techniques he uses. read more

Dr. Scott is so great. I came in for a consultation regarding adult braces. I went through quite a bit of work as a child but my aftercare instructions were slightly botched... I went to see Dr. Scott on a referral, and it was amazing! He is very polite, personable, great with kids and LOVES spiderman haha. He is knowledgeable about new orthodontic innovations and takes the best options available into consideration. His office is very clean and beautiful, but geared toward kids (which is a no-brainer), and his staff is always friendly and willing to help. I had full braces for an estimated 18 mos. but was able to get them off a month early! He works very well and quickly and each appoinment was great. I'm in my 40's. Got braces on recommendation from my dentist to straighten my teeth and fix bite. The process took a little over a year. There was a small gap in one area and Dr. McElroy worked for another year to fix that issue. The office appointments are quick and efficient. No waiting. Excellent staff. He's had all the same support staff & technicians since I started seeing him in October 2014. I would highly recommend him. At the tender age of 33, I finally decided to bite the bullet and get braces. I figured if I was going to fix my bite it was now or never. Dr McElroy was a delightful surprise who was very patient with all of my questions and my insistence that I didn't want traditional braces. it's true that he has a big personality but I never leave that office that I'm not at least smiling but most likely laughing. His entire staff is wonderful and I've never waited more than a few seconds in the waiting room and they are very patient with my occassional tardiness. If you are a nerd like me, you will also appreciate the fact that Dr. Mac uses the latest technology so that for invisalign at least you can actually see what your mouth will look like at the end of the road. Dr. McElroy is AWESOME and I would highly recommend him. He is honest, personable and ultimately did a great job on my son's teeth! I went to another Ortho that tried to pursuade me to put braces on my son before his baby teeth fell out. Dr. McElroy advised me to wait until I preferred to spend more money which felt right to me. I plan to use Dr. McElroy again when my daughter needs braces in a few short years. Dr. McElroy was referred to me over 2 years ago by an oral surgeon who extracted wisdom teeth from one of my daughters. When I asked that oral surgeon for an orthodontist referral for my other daughter, he told me about Dr. McElroy and said he would be the orthodontist he would send his own kids to. (That said a lot to me!) Anyway, Dr. Mac does not disappoint! His work is excellent and highly skilled, his pricing is fair, his personality is par excellence! My daughter has always enjoyed going for check-ups (and even getting her braces tightened up, if you can believe that!) because he is so engaging and puts his patients completely at ease. The Dr is a nice guy and well trained. However our daughter sustained a fractured jaw shortly after having her braces off. She now needs to have braces put back on. The Dr in our opinion poorly worded a letter needed for the insurance company to explain the injury. We asked for it to be updated and the response back was surprisingly unresponsive. My daughter broke her jaw...within weeks of getting her braces off. Sorry I sent my 3 kids to him now. read more

I had to go back to an orthodontist as an adult, after I neglected to wear my retainer from my first go around. I was apprehensive about having braces on at 26, so it took me a while to make my appointment. I chose Dr. McElroy due to convenience, and I am so thankful that I did! He is AMAZING. He is really friendly and upbeat. He worked with me to select the dental plan that would get me the results I wanted but wouldn't require me to wear metal braces for years. Every time I go in to his office is a pleasure. His staff is also very professional, accommodating, and friendly. I have had a lot of bad dental experiences, so these things are important to me. He is flexible with appointment times and payment options. And the #1 most important thing, he actually CARES about his patients! He will take as much time as it takes to make sure that you are comfortable during each procedure. This was not the case with my last orthodontist, and let me tell you it makes a HUGE difference. His entire office is decorated with Spider Man memorabilia, he even has the video game in the waiting room. I would recommend him to anyone (and I have) but if you have kids, it will be an even bigger treat for them. If you need orthodontic work done, give him a call. I believe he does a free consultation.
