I had one year of Invisalign treatment to correct a bite issue that was causing excessive tooth wear. During my treatment, Dr. Faldu took over for Dr. Vargas and both were excellent, friendly, very patient and thorough in answering all of my questions, and very detail-oriented. I really wish I could give no star to this clinic. I would never take my kid there. They take a lot of XRAYS which are not good for a kid, . The doctor used her hand and eyes very less but used the computer and the photos to see the teeth instead . They don't even have private room for the kids but just one open hall where there is no privacy. The clinic is very small and the receptionist is very unprofessional. The doctor doesn't seem to be friendly with the kids. I would not recommend anyone. I was shocked to see another clinic where the doctor himself performed all the task and used only some xrays. They charged way less and provided very high quality service. I love that clinic. read more

I cannot fathom what would have made my 3-4 years here any better. I got my braces off years ago and still miss these people. Dr. Cheney and his staff are unlike other orthodontists in that they do not treat you like cattle to be hearded through the process but rather as a person. I was questioning the status of my teeth after so many years of not wearing a retainer. I coach the Amador Valley Girls Lacrosse team in Pleasanton and Marcel Orthodontics made 40 customized sports mouth guards for all of our players! The girls have all said this is hands down the BEST sports mouth guard they have ever worn. They feel like the customized mouth guards fit so well and they all say how extremely comfortable they are. I decided to fix some minor problems in my bite as an adult. Dr. Cheney was FABULOUS. Easy to make appointments, nice to be around, and clearly EXCEPTIONAL at what he does.
