Wow! Barb is amazing! She takes the time to really listen to what is going on. She provides a massage before adjusting and is really about getting your body healthy and in the position where it wants/needs to be. She is so kind and has a wonderful demeanor. Her team is excellent-from Suzanne and Dana at the front desk-to the massage therapists! All are awesome! read more

Such has such a great bedside manner. She's my favorite Chiropractor, and a fabulous person. She comes up with great suggestions as well as her staff is organized, knowledgeable and calming. I always walk out of there with my head held high, relaxed, and pain free. This is a small thank you for all that Barbara Does. :-) read more

Spectacular chiropractor and just an all around nice person! Dr. Reitz will make you feel welcomed & comfortable, she is personable and gentle. She is not afraid to get on the floor and show you what kinds of stretches and things to do. The office is neat and tidy, Dayna (the receptionist) is great too. At first I needed to go each week to be adjusted, and now I'm on a routine and going once a month - she is not the type to tell you to come in when she doesn't feel you need to, personally I appreciate that. She is open late a couple days a week which is also convenient for my schedule. If you're looking for a new chiropractor she is definitely the one to call!! read more

I have been seeing chiropractors for over 20 years and Barb is hands down one of the best I have ever been to. She knows her anatomy well and how all things connect. No matter the pain level or type of injury, she always manages to make me feel better. Her bedside manner is so comforting and beyond that of most doctors. I highly recommend her. read more

Barb has been treating me, my kids, and family friends for a long, long time. She is amazing, awesome, and extremely talented. I am sure there are confident alternatives, but I would never consider seeing anyone other than Barb Reitz. read more

Sitting for 12 hours a day is apparently not so good for you, so I've been seeing chiros for a few years now. Dr Reitz is excellent and unlike some of the other ones I've seen, the visits aren't rushed in an attempt to maximize people seen. She takes her time, listens to your issues, does some tissue work and adjusts what's needed. I've hobbled into her office on multiple occasions and walked out feeling great. Can't recommend her enough! read more

I've been going for a couple of years now. I love it! They are nice and the environment is very relaxing. I love how they put how rocks first and then they'll massage to get you prepare. read more

Wonderful chiropractor, staff, convenient location (lots of parking!) and clean and comfortable office space, it's homey and normal with her personal photos scattered. Dr. Reitz is as bright, sunny, warm, smiley and as friendly as the picture posted here on yelp. She's super smart, caring and compassionate. I've been to other chiropractors in town who are trying to constantly sell their services (massage, supplements, equipment) & telling me how to change my lifestyle habits. Dr. Reitz does her thing, makes me feel good and I leave her office telling anyone who needs a chiropractor to see her. read more

Barb Reitz has been my chiropractor for years now. She and her staff are great and really work with you for the best alignment. Wonderful personality too! I recommend her to everyone! read more

Dr. Reitz has helped me improve my health and posture for years thru regular preventative visits. I have also used her for urgent pain needs and highly recommend her. read more

Excellent. Barbara is so nice, comforting, personable, and good at what she does. My back had not felt this good in a very long time. Her technique of heat, massage, and chiro works extremely well. I have already been three times and will continue to go weekly. My last chiropractor I only saw when I had an issue. Barbara I would like to go to either way. I highly recommend her, highly. read more

I have known Dr.Reitz for 11 years now. When I was 10 years old I started to experience severe migraines. As soon as she started to treat me I noticed major relief. With her chiropractic care I have been migraine free for 4 years. Most importantly she is very kind and professional. She always communicates what she feels is the best treatment for her patients. If you are looking for a chiropractor, definitley go see Dr.Barbara Reitz in Mill Valley. read more

I have been seeing Barb for many years, as has my husband. She is delightful, knowledgable and effective. Before Barb I saw probably five other chiropractors who did not help at all. Of all those thist is the only chiro office that takes the time and care to warm your muscles before an adjustment. In the past other chiropractors would try to sign me up for life plus want my firstborn child! Barb never tries to have you keep seeing her unless you need her, and then she is there at the ready. Absolutely love her. read more

A friend recommended me there for some back work recently and I must say, this place looks like a real 'caring' place but the service was perfunctory at best. Situated in the back of a off street (hard to find)...in Mill Valley, one expected a holistic treatment but got the basic 'smiles and hello, take your money' routine. Why is it so hard to find a good masseuse treatment when there are so many Groupon deals out there offering 50% off....in the city no less. Service means really caring and not just to make money we had always hope. No deal here. read more

Having had some back pain over the last several months, and having not seen a good chiropractor for a couple of years, I resorted to Yelp to try another one (notwithstanding the turkey Yelp led me to about two years ago...). I have no need to continue my search. Yesterday I had a very good experience with Dr. Reitz. Other reviewers describe her method, and my experience was consistent with that. She is a careful listener, and her adjustments were very deftly applied. I am a large person, so I was a bit concerned that she might not be able to deal with me, but those fears were completely misplaced. After adjusting my back, she showed me a few exercises to add to my morning stretching routine. No follow up appointments needed, but I will most certainly be back. read more

I've been seeing Barbara Reitz for many years. I usually only need her a few times a year, and when I do there is usually quite a bit of pain involved. She always seems to get me in when I need it, and I am usually out of pain on the first visit. I love that she doesn't push me into more visits than I need, as I have been with other chiros. Of course, if I had the time and money to see her once or twice a month, I totally would, but its good to know I have a trusted and talented chiropractor for the days when I need her... Like today, I will be going to see her very soon. read more

Dr. Reitz is a nothing less than a miracle worker. I have had chronic lower back pain for years after a horseback riding incident and felt like I tried everything under the sun to get better - massage, chiro, injections, therapy, you name it. Then I met Dr. Reitz. She immediately saw what was wrong and gave me the first relief I had felt since my injury. She is warm, caring and knows her stuff! I wish there was a way to give her 10 stars. read more

She knows what she is doing! I have been seeing Barbara reitz for many years now. She's helped me with a variety of problems and I always come out of her office feeling better. This is because of the warm care she gives, the professionalism of her office staff, and her ability to work on my back in an accurate, careful way. She knows what she is doing. She does not insist that you return constantly like some other DC's. Give her a try! read more

I started seeing Doctor Reitz before I had my first baby. There wasn't an area of my body that didn't hurt. The treatment at her office includes a message and heat or ice. See has tended to every area of my body. That was and is more than I could have ever hoped for. Nine years and two children later I feel very good and only go for tuneups. Both my children get regular tuneups too. I highly recommend her! Natalie Castro Nova to read more

I needed to find a chiropractor locally after moving to Sausalito throughout covid. The 5 star ratings I found for Dr. Barbara and her team were spot on. I first booked a massage with Diane. I didn't need to say a word-- she knew exactly where and what to work on for immediate relief. I've never had a massage practitioner get me in one visit. Wonderful! A few days later, I had a new patient chiropractic appointment. I love her style of warming up muscles, working in massage and then doing an adjustment. It's a great technique and she knew exactly what areas were giving me issues. You bet I went back for another massage with Diane and then another adjustment with Dr. Barbara. The whole office vibe is warm and inviting, very friendly yet professional. I'm booked for an appointment next week. After 15 months of sitting poorly at a desk/on Zoom, I look forward to their help in getting my alignment back. read more

She is not your basic crack crack chiropractor. I went in not being able to move and she worked on the muscles along with the adjustment. I am feeling 100% better. She was gentle and caring. AWESOME! read more

I've been seeing Barb for years! She is fantastic and has a great team there! I love that they have massage therapy in the office as well. She has been able to explain to me what is going on with my back in terms that I can understand. She has definately saved my butt more than once! read more

Barb is not only skilled, professional and highly educated in her field, she is incredibly kind and compassionate. She will go to bat for you with your Simon LeGree insurance company and she'll win! Her method of heat and massage prior to manipulation is so sensible; sad that others don't adopt her practice. It seems to make the adjustment last much longer. Of course it feels great! BTW, you can often get an appointment the same day, even though Barb is quite busy. Be sure to check out her Halloween decor; most attractive office. read more

I had a pinched nerve that had gone into muscle spasms and had to find help quickly; did a Google search in Mill Valley and found Barbara who saw me just as she was closing. She relieved the pain and also gave me a follow up right when I needed it. Reasonably priced, and 100% professional...good enough that I thought I would write a review here. read more

Doctor Barb has been keeping my healthy for over 10 years. On and off again neck/ shoulder pain, Dr. Reitz keeps these pains in-check, and also there is a general prophylactic health benefit to her treatments. My colds and sore throats are down to a 1/4 of once they once were prior to DC work. Two thumbs up! read more

Barbara knows her stuff. I love how she uses heating pads and massage before making any adjustments. She always makes you feel relaxed and comfortable, never pressured to sign up for the next adjustment or prepayment. She has a wonderful energy and compassion. I always feel fantastic and lighter after I leave. She also takes insurance. read more

Until I started seeing Dr. Reitz I had chronic lower back pain for 15 months. It's amazing how much relief I've experienced. I can't recommend her more highly. Dr. Reitz is amazing. Very knowledgeable, and professional. Everyone in the office is caring, and compassionate. Plus the office is super organized. The appointments are always on time. Barb is great! I've known her and been a client for the last 8 years. Besides giving a great adjustment, she is always upbeat and positive which makes going in that much more enjoyable. I highly recommend going to Barb! read more

Barbara's chiropractic work never ceases to amaze. Sessions begin with heat, then Barbara always seems to intuitively find the problem areas through massage. Her adjustments are solid and precise. No fancy machines, or gadgetry - just expert and soothing care. In the years I have been to her office, Barbara books just the right amount of visits for the healing to finalize. I have recommended Barbara's chiropractic wonders to several family members. They too are thrilled with the experience and the results! read more

I beat myself up a lot for sport (MTB/SNBD). After spending a lot of time looking for a chiropractor that I felt was right for me, I found Barb. She is an attentive and caring practitioner. Dr. Reitz has been maintaining my chiropractic health since 2000. She is an amazingly intuitive and skilled chiropractor with a great sense of humor and compassion. Her office staff are consistently friendly and NOT pushy in making future appointments. Dr. Reitz's fees are very affordable and consistent! If you are looking for a new or considering upgrading to more professional and gifted chiropractor, you should call Dr. Reitz's office at 415-388-2214 to schedule your appointment. Her office also offers great massages too. Check her out; you will not regret it! read more

I am so grateful to have found Dr. Reitz and her office! When we first moved to the area, I had been searching for a new chiropractor for myself and my family. It's always a stressful process to find someone who truly knows what they are doing and that you can connect with. Dr. Reitz is a warm, thorough and smart individual who gives one of the best adjustments I've ever had. Every visit utilizes heat and massage BEFORE she even adjusts you or addresses your issues. It is a highly effective approach. Combine this with a great personality and friendly office, and you won't go anywhere else! My kids adore her too. read more

I had been struggling with a deep pain in my hip and leg. I went to the Doctor had an x-ray and they could not find anything wrong. I decided to visit Barbara as she has always been a great help if I had any neck or lower back pain. I explained to Barbara what was going on and where the pain was and within minutes she diagnosed me and took care of the problem. The very next day the pain was relieved and after a series of adjustments in a span of a couple of week I am pain free. Barbara is the best she takes time to listen and I trust her advice. I also took advantage of her massage therapist and had a wonderful message! read more

I worked with many different types of therapists (PT, massage, Accupuncture, other chiros, etc) for my back issue over the course of more than two years and then I was lucky to discover Dr. Reitz. She's helped me more than everyone else combined and with less cost and time required! read more

I have been seeing Barbara for a while now for various problems and she really has helped. She loosens up your muscles first with massage so your bones can actually gently release (and hopefully will be less likely to go back into the bad spot they were in to begin with). I had moderate vertigo - got dizzy doing 1 turn in dance class.. .and after about 6 sessions, I was back to my baseline and able to enjoy my classes. I have also gone to her for back pain and shoulder pain... again, she fixes your problems so you don't have to keep going back every week. I still go back for "tune ups" but it's not like other chiropractors, where you have to go all the time for the rest of your life. Also Barbara is just so gentle and calming - helps one to clear away the mental stresses of the day. I have been able to get last minute appts and her office is run very smoothly. I highly recommend her! read more

Barbara is the very best chiropractor I have ever been to and she is also a super wonderful person. I went into her office literally crying in pain 2 weeks ago and here I am 2 weeks later with 80% less pain. She is intuitive and kind and has healing hands and a wonderful manner. She listens and and is engaging and gentle, yet strong. I always feel so much better when I leave. I can't say enough good things about her. I have a very physically demanding job and she has made everything better. I am enjoying it so much more now. Thank you, Barb. read more

My wife and I have been going to Barbara for years. We moved to the city but still go back to see her in Marin because we haven't been able to find another chiropractor as good. She mixes, heat, massage and awesome chiropractic services. When I had whiplash from a car accident she fixed it. Can't say enough positive things. Do yourself a favor and go see Dr. Reitz! read more

I cant say enough good things about Dr Reitz, I definitely recommend scheduling an appointment! read more

Barbara is a Rock Star! Even if she wasn't an amazingly gifted doctor, I would go to her just to hang out with her. She is always warm and bubbly and positive. I am somebody who is loose-jointed and goes out of whack easily. I am so grateful she knows my body and can set me straight every time. I trust her completely. She is also extremely good with my two young children, both personally and professionally. I can't recommend her highly enough! read more
