I've been going to Barb Reitz for nearly 10 years. This is one of the most satisfying experiences of my life right now in that I get excellent spine care, and also a healing, caring person to be with. She feels like a best friend, even though I only see her professionally. But she is my kind of health care provider. I feel lucky to have found her. Nancy C. Grateful patient read more

Barb Reitz has been my chiropractor for decades and she is terrific! I always come away 'well adjusted' and pain free for a long time. She knows exactly what to do! Now with the addition of Jaime as my massage therapist I have that to look forward to as well. I go every two weeks. Jaime is fantastic and fixes all my complaints. What a pleasure. 10 stars all the way for Barb and Jaime! RK read more

Very grateful to have found Dr. Reitz upon moving to Mill Valley. She is gracious and hospitable every visit. More importantly, she has helped me alleviate pain every time. Thank you Dr. Reitz! read more

Came here and got my back adjusted, felt MUCH better afterwards. Barbara also adjusted my knees, and that helped out a whole lot. My job is very physical and im just in general very active. I was able to experience much relief! The session was quick and comfortable, and I was also taught some new stretches in order to better aid my body. The atmosphere inside the office is very nice, I felt very welcomed. Barb is clearly very knowledgeable, and its great that she will explain to you whats going on with your body in detail. If you are deciding on a chiropractor, this is the place to go! As good as it gets! read more

This office is a gem and Barbara is fantastic. She has reduced my pain so much in just two visits. I feel like I have found the golden ticket--a gifted chiropractor covered by my insurance in a pristine office with air purifiers where all are vaccinated! Barb is a wonderful chiropractor for our entire family and also a lovely person. She always takes great care of us.

Dr. Reitz is far and away the best chiropractor I've ever seen. For the past 17 years she has cared for our whole family, including our children since they were infants and toddlers. She is incredibly experienced, gifted and also a really smart, kind person! I would trust Barb with absolutely any issue - and she has the utmost integrity in the way that she practices. She has never once pushed anything at all, and always asks about what I need. She's totally saved me from being in pain with neck and lower back issues. The entire office is nicely decorated, and all the staff are super nice and very professional. She's a total gem of a person and a doctor! read more

Dr.Barb is caring and proficient at what she does! I highly recommend. Go align your mind with the spine and you will not waste your time! read more

Barb is so great! I was drawn in by all the great reviews, and now I have to add to them. I had never seen a chiropractor before, and I was nervous to do so for my neck, shoulder, and back pain/posture issues. Barb is truly so sweet, and her gentle yet effective treatment helped to ease my fears. It's been a few months since I've started seeing her, and I always feel great afterwards! She also has given me a few exercises to help in between treatments in hopes that I won't have to come as often - the sign of a practitioner who truly cares about the wellness of her patients. Her sweet front desk staff, Jamie, also adds to the pleasant experience. read more

I would highly recommend Dr. Reitz. She is friendly and very knowledgeable - a seasoned professional. She's helped with ribs out of place, wrist, ankle and knee issues and my back of course. I have gone to her for at least fifteen years now and will continue even though I moved to northern Marin. Also, she gives you moist hot pads on your back for awhile and then a massage of five to seven minutes or so then the adjustment. I highly recommend her! read more

I've found Dr. Barb & staff helpful, professional and informative. Dr Reitz has high standards for her office & staff. My adjustments are very helpful to keep my body working with ease with my previous injuries. I remember to walk after each adjustment to help my body adapt. It's been a blessing to come to Align Chiropractic Studio for chiropractic care & massage. read more

I've been seeing Dr. Reitz for a number of years now. She covers Kaiser insurance which is one reason why I started seeing her but I've continued going in for adjustments because she is absolutely amazing at what she does. I come in for adjustments because I work out and my job requires heavy lifting at times so they're basically tune ups I get every couple months. Not to mention the fantastic mini massage she gives you prior to the adjustments! She also has given me a number of tips over the years with my shoulders that are slightly rounded and with my neck/back problems I've had in the past. All in all she's fantastic to work with, very personable and above all I trust her with the adjustments she makes. That's not always easy to find with a chiropractor. Strongly recommended! read more

Barb is the world's greatest chiropractor! She is very knowledgeable and empathetic. Her treatments include a few moments resting under a heating pad, brief massage (to identify the problem areas) and a professional adjustment. Barb's office is sparkling clean and the staff are calm and friendly. I highly recommend Align Chiropractic. read more

Barbara Reitz has CHOSEN to not treat anyone with Medicare, even if Medicare will not be billed but you are willing to pay out-of-pocket. The office and the website will try to make you think that they are COMPELLED to reject Medicare patients by an act of Congress, when really Congress gave Barbara Reitz the OPTION to treat you or not. The website and the office staff offer very misleading information. I wasted a lot of time and suffered a lot of pain only to be rejected at the door. read more

I have been going to Dr. Reitz for well over 15 years. She is a skilled chiropractor who always takes excellent care of my neck and back! I have had such a great experience with Dr. Reitz that I have recommended her to many friends and family members. They, too, have all had positive experiences! I highly recommend her! read more

Amazing Chiropractor 5* isn't enough. She has literally changed my life after 7 years of discomfort. Read the reviews and not one is wrong. A truly caring Chiropractor that doesn't ever try to sell any "extras". She really is "That damn good!!!" After 4 weeks of Chiro I decided to try a massage. Katie was amazing!!! This was a massage to help, rather than just relax. Again 5 stars!!! read more

Barb is an excellent chiropractor with a warm, caring personality. I have been going to her for several months now and she is very, very good at what she does. After my first visit with her where she adjusted my neck, shoulders and back, my vision actually got sharper. I was amazed; I felt soooo good. One time, she was feeling around my neck and asked me if I head ache. I did indeed have a very bad headache. She said something like, yeah, your C-2 is out. Then she adjusted it and my headache vanished! I was shocked. And thrilled at the pain relief. Recently, I told her my right wrist was hurting -- probably from clutching a computer mouse all day -- and she felt it and adjusted it, then did my left wrist and it feels so much better now. Barb is one of the only chiropractors I know who applies heat for a while to you, then gives you a massage for a few minutes to loosen up your muscles, then adjusts you. It makes so much sense to do it that way, but I only know of one other chiropractor who does that, and he's in Manhattan and he doesn't do the heat, but does recommend that you get a little massage from his shiatsu guy in the office before your treatment. I highly recommend seeing Barb for an adjustment. Her office is in a little office park in Mill Valley right next to Whole Foods and the post office, and there is plenty of parking in the parking lot. And she takes my insurance plan! read more

I can't say enough about Dr. Barbara and her staff. They are all very friendly and professional. Between Dr. Barbara and Vince, massage therapist, I have really felt a difference. My body is full of metal and scar tissue from a car accident a few years back. Both Vince and Dr. Barbara really know how to work with my body and help with the pain I have. I can't say enough about them. You would be crazy to go to anyone else. Ann S. read more

I had just moved to Mill Valley and was a mess after the move with a newborn and a 2 year old. It's always a risk choosing a new doctor of any sort, but this office is superb to say the least. Whether fixing strange numbness that had been going through my arms for weeks, a tweaked neck from carrying car seats, or simply needing to be readjusted, Barbara and Deborah are the best. There's a nice little ritual they do each visit before the adjustment and give great advice at the end of each session to make sure you're on the right track to healing. It's nice to feel your chiropractor is actually doing something to heal your body instead of trying to get you always coming back. You can also schedule feasible massages at their location. Thank you ladies. You are highly recommended. read more

I have seen Dr. Reitz when needed over the years, and she has never failed to heal my back or take away the discomfort or pain! She is an excellent diagnostician--better than some doctors--and she's as kind and empathetic as she is skilled. Plus her fees are incredibly reasonable. I will always feel very lucky to have found Dr. Reitz, and everyone I have ever referred to her to feels the same way. Do not miss the opportunity to work with her! read more

Dr. Reitz is amazing. A beautiful, clean, professional office. Her adjustments are spot on and always relieve the problem. She is professional, pleasant, and an amazing find! Highly recommended!! read more

Simply put, Barbara is the best! I've been seeing her 4+ yrs and she is super kind, knowledgeable, and her technique of heat, massage, and adjustment works really well. I've been going in every 3 weeks for routine maintenance as I am 55 and active playing different sports. Barbara has recently suggested that I go 4 weeks between adjustments. Highly recommend. Update 12/23/2014. I have been going in to see Barbara every 2 months for the past year as my body is holding the adjustments longer. Needless to say, I am very pleased! read more

Dr. Reitz is a magician!!! I've been to her for a year now and my back has never felt better. She is personable, a great location, and her support staff is top notch. With the combination of heat, massage, and adjustments I always leave feeling like a new person!! A Mill Valley MUST! read more

I can't explain how thankful I'm to Barbara for her excellent job. I thought I just had to deal with my neck and back pain forever but she got me completely out of pain in few sessions. I would highly recommend her read more

I've been seeing Barbara over the past couple years and cannot recommend her more highly. Every time I walk out of her office I feel lighter on my feet and clearer in my headspace. She doesn't try to push sales like a lot of other chiropractors I've been to - who seem to immediately want to sign you on for 10 more sessions after your first one. She's totally realistic and honest about what your needs are, and if she thinks you need a re-adjustment after a week she'll tell you, but if she thinks you'll be fine for a while she says to call when you need it. On top of it she's a really nice and interesting person - she's makes you feel completely comfortable in her office, and totally taken care of. I've been to many chiropractors in the Bay Area over the past 20 years, and she is by far and away the most effective and best. read more

Barbara is fantastic! Not only does she do magic but she makes you feel so safe and comfortable, as if you're visiting with a friend. I started seeing her when I wasn't able to walk due to some health issues and after just one adjustment, my pain was basically gone and I was able to comfortably walk and to the exercises to help the injury. The office is super clean and they're safety practices during the Pancetta make me feel totally comfortable. Plus, it's super calming. Highly recommend her and the staff there. read more

AS GOOD AS IT GETS i drive all the way to see Dr. Reitz and i wouldn't trust my body to anyone else. I have suffered from car accident related issues for years and chiro work is non-negotiable. i find her to be pleasant and she just my type of Chiropracter. ( i have been to many who and i need a cracker) , her massage therapists and staff are great, and she always has local recommendations for me. I dont usually drive to Mill Valley but for this, i will. read more

My whole family has been going to Barbara for the past four or five years whenever our backs or joints needed some TLC. By integrating massage, heat and chiropractic, plus stretches and advice on how to maintain and heal she demonstrates that joint alignment is a multi-faceted discipline. In addition, when I was in complete crisis with a bout of migraines that were not going away, she quickly realized where it wasn't a joint or muscular issue and helped me get other support to find relief. There is no other chiropractor for me or my family. read more

Barbara is a marvelous blend of outgoing and empathetic personality combined with skilled chiropractic expertise. I found Dr. Reitz through a coworker when I got into a really bad car accident back in June of 2016. When I got out the accident, I was in so much pain that I couldn't walk or bend my body in any way for weeks, one of my ribs is also permanently out of place. That was when I heard of her, So I went to see her and we have been treating for a year and now I am able to exercise like normal. She is by far the best chiropractor I've ever had and I have been going to difference chiropractors since I was a child. I love the heat treatment she does and she is the only chiropractor who does that, which she then follows with a soft tissue massage before she goes into the adjustment. I have recommended family and friends here since I started seeing my body heal because of her treatment. Definitely give this place a try read more

Barb is the absolute best. Not only is she extremely knowledgeable, she also help fix problems with other parts of the body, such as arms, legs and even fingers! Her treatments begin with heating pads and a back massage before the adjustment. I highly recommend her! You will not be disappointed. read more

Barb is perhaps the best chiropractor I've seen. Her office is clean and her staff is very friendly. As a fellow cyclist she knows how miles and hours in the saddle can really do a number on your back. She always takes the extra time to make you feel comfortable and welcome. I've also been here for multiple massages and always left feeling loose and energized. I have a few friends who also frequent her office and we didn't even know we all went there until we were all bragging about how great our chiropractor was till we realized we were all talking about the same Dr! Thanks Barb for keeping us all adjusted just right! read more

Simply the best. I walked in and felt at ease. Very professional and friendly. Best massage I have had. Barbara is great!

I am so grateful to my friend for recommending me to Dr. Reitz!!!! I had been absolutely MISERABLE with my former Chiropractor, Dr. Paul at Upper Cervical Chiropractic of Marin. While I will explain why Dr Paul was a horrible fit, I want to begin this review with why Dr. Reitz is the best chiropractor I have had in the 13 years I have visited. Dr Reitz: -begins with heat on your back -massages your back and neck to loosen up the muscles -feels and assesses your body prior to adjustment in addition to checking everything over afterwards. -She will do her absolute best to fit you in; especially in times of great need. -She has several therapeutic massage therapists in her office should you need them. She never pushes them on you; they are just there should you need it. -ample parking -Both she and her receptionist are kind, comfortable and empathetic. I have recommended Dr Reitz to several of my friends and now they too are loyal patients. Thank you, Dr. Reitz! I am lucky to have found you! DO NOT VISIT DR PAUL AT UPPER CERVICAL CHIROPRACTIC OF MARIN!!! My family and I had recently relocated from Seattle and I took a chance on him based on proximity to my home's location. I knew from my first visit that he was a terrible choice. I am surprised that he is still in business! He treated me like a paycheck vs an individual. He told me I needed 40 visits per year upon our first visit. Really? It turns out another friend was told the same thing after their initial visit. This is when I knew he did not care about me but rather my money. He also rushed me in and out. I was placed in a dark room with only a towel on my back before he came in and adjusted my upper neck. That it! No checking my body's alignment, no adjustments to the rest of my spine or limbs; just that. He was rude, egotistical to top it off. Bottom Line: Horrible doctor and person. I would not recommend him to my worst enemy. read more
