Dr. Vicki Garfola is the best chiropractor I've ever seen. I've been going to her for about 8 months now, and she's drastically improved my neck, back, and shoulders. I started having a lot of pain, likely from working from home at a non-ergonomic setup. Her adjustments are gentle and effective, her approach is thoughtful, and she creates a great treatment plan. She recommended I get an MRI so we could really understand what was impacting me. She taught me exercises to do myself. And her ongoing care is so helpful and appreciated. She is in sync with my rheumatologist (I have arthritis), my gym / cross fit trainer (Jamie Stanic at the Marin Bay Club, also excellent) and my acupuncturist (Heather Moore in Fairfax, also excellent). It's a multi-faceted treatment plan involving a lot more than readjustments of the neck and spine. She's given me a lot of self-treatment options too that I can do at home, gym and the office to keep me in top shape along with some good habits to get in. Dr Nadine knows quite a bit about cross fit and is particularly attuned to the injuries and treatment surrounding this training style. 5/5 RESULTS ====== Big improvement in my back. I've had several consultations after some serious back pains and some obvious misalignment of my lumbar vertebrae, mostly due to cross fit. Suzanne is straight-up the best chiropractor I have ever seen. And I have seen A LOT. 3 in the past year and 6 in the last 5. Suzanne is the ONLY chiro I've seen who makes me feel better in one visit. I have chronic lower back pain caused by god-knows-what (I'm a healthy, normal 30-year-old woman), but together with my amazing physical therapist, Suzanne has helped keep my back pain at bay for the last few months. At first I was seeing her once a week, then every two weeks, and now I go in once a month for a tune up. Dr. Suzanne Hanson is amazing. I can't say enough good things about her. I've seen many chiropractors and she is by far the most talented. If you popped a rib (or two or three) Dr. Hanson is skilled at putting them back in place. From my experience, most chiropractors either don't treat popped ribs, or they try without success. I've been seeing Dr. Hanson for over 5 years now. When I first saw her I was only able to turn my head about 30 degrees to the left; it had been like that for years despite visiting 2 different chiropractors. After just one session with Suzanne I regained full range of motion. I was ecstatic. When I lived abroad I did see several chiropractors, but they didn't measure up to Suzanne. Darcy Oikawa is an amazing chiropractor. The adjustments that she gives me are comprehensive and tailored to my personal needs. Not only dose she put my body back in working order, she gives me tons of exercises and stretches to help it stay that way. I also really appreciate that she is constantly checking in with me, during the adjustments, to see how I'm feeling. Everyone in the office is so accommodating and friendly. Dr. Hanson and staff are highly in tune with fixing the human body. I had a shoulder injury and imbalance that was affecting my ability to perform a high number of appointments and work out. I've been treated by both Suzanne Hanson and Darcy Oikawa. In my 45 years, I've been to many physicians and chiropractic offices. The difference with seeing these two providers is in the amount of time they take to educate me and their ability to always provide pain relief. Because they are both athletic, they recognize my need to be active again. I had reached a plateau recently in my rehab efforts and Suzanne recommended that I see Darcy for ART (Active Release Therapy). It has made a vast improvement.
