Since then, all four of us have been in a couple of times, and every experience has been great. Everyone is friendly, welcoming, and genuinely makes you feel comfortable. They've been absolutely wonderful with both of our kids. One thing that really stood out to me was that the doctor knew my son was really into Pokemon and surprised him with TWO big packs of Pokemon cards. It was such a thoughtful little thing and it meant so much to him and honestly says a lot about the kind of care they give their patients. At first, I thought that was fair, but unfortunately, I was wrong. After my consultation, I was quoted $2k-$3k for treatments that went beyond what I was actually asking for. It felt like they were trying to upsell me. When I politely requested a refund of my $150 deposit, I was denied, being told it was a fee just to see the practitioner. I wasn't trying to be difficult, so I asked about other alternatives, like using the deposit toward a facial. But when I inquired, I was told it would be another $80--so in total, $229. At that point, I didn't want to give this place any more of my money. Looking back, the biggest red flag (that I wish I caught sooner) was the lack of transparency with their pricing. Other med spas are upfront about what their services cost, which is much more honest. I understand it's a business, but this experience left me feeling misled and out $150 for nothing.
