Not only did the new dentist make arrangements for proper care for my disability, but they also made sure I wasn't afraid while getting dental work. He was condescending and cruel. The assistants also smelled like ashtrays and acted unprofessionally. He also was unsuccessful with treating me so he sent me down the hill. So bottom line. Not only do they not have the skills to be treating anyone, especially not for their high prices, but they will ridicule you throughout the entire process. I haven't been to a dentist in years now because of this. It was pretty traumatic for me. Wondering if they only treat certain people badly?? I am one to experience panic attacks at every doctors office. Our first visit was pleasant, despite the comments from behind the desk. I am gathering she is a Trump supporter by the comments made. Me and my same sex husband over looked it. Live and let live, you know! Our second visit, was a little more off putting. By our third visit, They finally figured out that we were a gay couple on the same insurance. I was having a pleasant conversation with the Hygienist. The front desk person stopped the doctor and whispered something to him before he entered the room. He then came in with a chip on his shoulder and I physically felt threatened. I tried not to let my panic take over the situation and convinced my self that, he was just having a bad day. Not till our conversation on the drive home did I realize what just went down. Within moments of leaving. I tasted blood in my mouth. Come to find out there was a 2 inch cut in the soft pallet under my tongue. I took my time writing this, because I didn't want to over react. All I can say about this particular business is the ACLU and other anti discriminatory groups need to look into their practices. If you or your children have anxieties, DO NOT USE THIS OFFICE.

She knows everything and remembers everything, even when I don't. Dr. Markham has been a dentist for many years and is very skilled. He is kind and patient and isn't trying to sell you anything you don't need. He is honest and proficient. I enjoy going in to see them at this office. They are friendly and flexible with scheduling. He had to go back 2 more times because it kept popping off Due to inadequate materials and/or staff. They proceeded to give him a Statement with a Balance of well over $2,000.00 going back to 2022. When he asked about why these charges were so old, he was told by Juddy, she was reconciling records and noticed he had a balance. I then reviewed it, provided a detailed Audit of each charge along with copies of All payments and EOB'S (Explanation of Benifts). Turns out, she was double billing him for mistakes they made in office and for charges under the 'Write Off' column on the EOB which are clearlyNot the Patients Responsibility. . When I asked her why, she said, 'because we haven't been paid for those amounts yet' I said, then you take that up with the Insurance company, you dont just automatically charge the Patient. I also told her that I spoke to the Insurance company, and they confirmed what I said. I told her, just because you haven't been paid by the Insurance company, you don't go after the Patient. How many other Patients has she done that to, who didn't even realize, and just paid. After numerous times trying to reach her over and over via email and i cant count how many phone calls left for Juddy, I finally did reach her and she said she removed all the 'Write Off' Amounts and he owed just over $200,00. I then reminded her, that she neglected to bill my husband's Insurance on 3 charges and that after those are put back through His insurance, he would probably be due a Crédit. After that, she Zeroed his account. Go figure, she tried to bill him for over $2,000.00 dollars and after being called out, and possibly owning him a credit, she zeroed out his account. Shortly after this was all done, my husband's Crown popped off once again, that's a total of 4 times so we found another Dentist off the Mountain. Mind you, this started at the end of September 2024, and JUST got resolved mid January 2025. After all said and done, we have both chosen a phenomenal new Dentist who is absolutely lovely and both just Love. Caring, understanding and don't try to add on a bunch of unnecessary procedures to fill their pockets.
