This place looked promising. We were seated for lunch and waitress took our order. 3 of the 4 dishes came out in a reasonable amount of time. The 4th dish apparently was forgotten. Waitress said she would put order in kitchen. 15 minutes pass, we ask another waitress where the order was - she said another 2 minutes. 10 more minutes pass, a third waiter comes by, says it will be 2 minutes. Another 10 minutes pass, and everybody else in the party has finished their meals. We ask a 4th waitress where our order was, and she informs us I need to choose something else. I make a selection, and she brings out my pizza - COLD. I ask if she can heat it up and about 3 minutes later the 3rd waiter comes back with my original order I was told they didn't have. No effort was made to accommodate the terrible service - they still charged us and made no apologies. Italy sure doesn't seem like they are interested in tourist dollars because they treat tourists like dirt. We were staying nearby and happened to stop in for breakfast. There were six of us, and the staff was wonderfully helpful. Instead of making us stand and order, they suggested that we sit and have them take our order at the table. The pastries, pizza, and breakfast croissant were delicious, and the ambiance was excellent. We were very impressed with this place and will be back again. read more

Came here after a long museum day at the Uffizi for a quick snack and tea/coffee break in the afternoon. Simply just stumbled upon this cafe while walking around the area. Our order: Mochaccino (my order by default), Fruit Hot Tea, and a Tiramisu. Mochaccino was good and had strong coffee and dark chocolate taste to it. Fruit Hot Tea was just a really lightly peach-flavored tea bag (skip this). The Tiramisu was delicious, sweet but balanced. read more

Not really a good food or drink place. It's a nice place for hookah(even though it was on the high end). It's 24 euros and each person needs to spend 5 euros on top of that. It's not worth it unless you need your hookah fix. Got a cannoli which was average. Drinks were overpriced. Meh place! read more

Came here last night for some much needed hookah. Had an awesome time. Right upon entering, we were greeted by a very nice man and shown to our seats outside. Ela ended up being our server and she was AWESOME! She was sooo kind and diligent and just plain wonderful. She was working hard and I saw how much attention she gave all around. At one point I was chilly and without asking, she handed me something to keep me warm! If that isn't amazing service, I don't know what it. Now onto the hookah: slammin. It was some great hookah and I know my hookah. And I had cappuccino with it that was really good and I ordered a second bc I enjoyed it. Overall, great service, great hookah, great coffee, yup I'm down for that! Also, they give out these nuts in the beginning and they are DELISH! Great place for hookah! We came here at night and enjoyed the hookah and our moroccan tea. We liked how they put an abundance of mint leaves in our tea, it was flavorful and sweetened perfectly. However the temperature of the tea was so hot that we needed it to cool down before even pouring. Stopped here for a quick bite after visiting the Uffizi museum. They have seating outside which is nice (and they also don't charge extra for this like what some other restaurants do in Italy). Decent hookah and, mostly, friendly staff. While my friends and I were studying abroad in Florence for six weeks, we came here several times for drinks and hookah. It was essentially outside our front door so we kept coming here since it was one of the only two hookah bars we could find. We tried going to Moyo but it was more expensive and always full.The place itself is pretty nice and just around the corner from the fake David. We could see his butt from where we sit most of the time. Some nights were better than others in terms of drinks, hookah and service. I definitely have had better hookah in terms of smoothness, but the flavors are pretty decent. The drinks are a bit on the more expensive side ranging from 6 to 10 euros. My normal order was a mojito at 7 euros. The hookah, with a flavor included, was 15 euros and each person at the table had to order a drink. The drinks were good but inconsistent in terms of how strong they were. The first ones we ordered for the night were always tasty and sweet, but when we ordered another round it would always be stronger than the last. This wasn't necessarily a bad thing, but it could be a bit disappointing when you expected your drink to taste the way your last one did. The service was overall friendly, especially once they begun to recognize us. At first, the one waiter, Nikki?, was pretty rude to us until I asked for his name one night. He asked me why and I told him I review places. He was pretty nice from then on out. The service is a bit slower. It takes a little time to get your drinks and/or hookah. If you're looking for a quick night out, this is not your place. Overall, considering this is one of the only places to have hookah in Florence, it's pretty good. What a horrible experience. The service is so bad I was shocked. We went in to have coffee desert and hookah. The minute we sat down I ordered the hookah and started looking at the menu. My mother got up to go look at the deserts up front as the waitress came to take our order. The rudest blonde waitress came to our table and said what do you want to order. I said give us a minute my mother is looked but I ordered our hookah already with the man up front. She became so rude and yelled at me saying this isn't a place we can sit for just hookah we have to order. I said I understand but my mom is looking to see what she wants... she repeated herself 3 times and walked away saying "crazy Americans" I have never been disrespected in a restaurant before in my life. The own will quickly loss business having her work there. My parents and I walked out. The manager tried getting us to stay while the blonde waitress was telling him let them leave. Worst place ever. HORRIBLE SERVICE!! Our server was Alessandra and she was sub par. She came from behind the counter and bombarded my group with questions, pushing us to order when we just needed to have a look at the selection. A member of our party asked what the flavors of cookies were to be told one was chocolate when in fact it was Nutella. This became a problem as this person is highly allergic to hazelnut. At the end of the meal the pricing was made on the spot and some people with the same items were charged differently. Very unorganized, Very disappointing, would not recommend. The desert offerings were plentiful and beautiful creations. The flavor of the chocolate chip biscotti's was very tasty and their cappuccino's were terrific. The servers were nice BUT the biggest thing that made me give them 5 stars this time was their integrity-we accidentally left our backpack with my family's passports and some other important things we'd picked up. By the time we realized where we left it about 15-20 minutes had elapsed and when we came running back they immediately motioned us over and handed us our backpack from behind the counter! We found this place after strolling by around 10pm and seeing Hookahs outside. We decided to give it a try. Outside sitting area was completely full so we were sat inside in a back room. The heat was quite unbearable but we were told that the AC was going to be turned on immediately which pretty much never happened. We ordered "mix di estate" hookah which took a while to come (20 min) but was really good. We also ordered 4 drinks (beer, smoothie, tea, and a cocktail). After waiting for nearly 45 minutes, no drinks had been delivered. We made the remark to the hostess and were told that we were in a queue even though people who came 30 minutes after us had already been served. We waited. After another 15 minutes had gone by, we saw the waiter who originally took our order come by and asked again politely for our drinks. He acknowledged the request and went to check on the status of our order. Shortly after he came back and he said he forgot the order and pulled out his pad to retake our order. At this point we said thank you but no thank you. We smoked our shisha in the boiling heat and left. Nice place but terrible service. We would've expected our drinks to be comped to say the least.
